Is it possible to link an image to a cell?

I've got an accounting spreadsheet, but the problem is the accountant also wants to have the original reference invoice for proof, is there a way to perhaps drop the image into a cell and have it able to be expanded or linked to the original image?
It's probably something I need Bento for or something like that?

If you have a web site at which you can host the invoices, then you can make a hyperlink to the files using the HYPERLINK function. I tried it with a "hyperlink" to a file on my Mac (file:///User....") but it did not work. This would be my recommendation. You click on the cell and it opens the invoice in your browser.
You can also drop the invoice image into a cell but you cannot expand it to readable size except by expanding the cell itself. I suppose you could create some full-sheet one-cell tables where you drop invoices but you can't click on a cell in another table and have it automatically navigate to the invoice.

  • Is it possible to link to image in responses?

    Knowing that any images supplied in the survey have to be downloaded manually (this is not fun on a large survey ), is it possible that the image itself has a hyperlink since its stored on Adobe servers? If the hyperlink can be made accessible, I can reference it in my post-survey analysis.

    Hi;
    No, there is not a hyperlink you can access for the images in the Response Table.  I hope that soon we again have a method for users to submit feature request ideas but until then I'll have to note your request.
    Thanks,

  • Dreamweaver does not link any images or styling to my webpage

    Hi,
    I have been creating a webpage and have moved images from one folder to another and now the website will not display any images or styling. I have moved all the content back and it still doesn't show. I have created a completely new website with new images and styling and even now it still doesn't link the images to the "live view" (or when I open it in a browser). What have I messed up?
    Thanks in advance.
    Tom.

    Thanks for you quick response - Please note that even if I use a template it doesn't show any image I put in. Can you see a problem with this template code? I have put the HTML and then the CSS after
    PLEASE ALSO NOTE: I have completely re-done site management and moved images to where they should be. This has not worked.

    margin: 0; /* it's good practice to zero the margin and padding of the body element to account for differing browser defaults */
    padding: 0;
    text-align: center; /* this centers the container in IE 5* browsers. The text is then set to the left aligned default in the #container selector */
    color: #000000;
    /* Tips for Elastic layouts
    1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
    2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.
    .twoColElsRtHdr #container {
    width: 46em;  /* this width will create a container that will fit in an 800px browser window if text is left at browser default font sizes */
    background: #FFFFFF;
    margin: 0 auto; /* the auto margins (in conjunction with a width) center the page */
    border: 1px solid #000000;
    text-align: left; /* this overrides the text-align: center on the body element. */
    .twoColElsRtHdr #header {
    background: #DDDDDD;
    padding: 0 10px;  /* this padding matches the left alignment of the elements in the divs that appear beneath it. If an image is used in the #header instead of text, you may want to remove the padding. */
    .twoColElsRtHdr #header h1 {
    margin: 0; /* zeroing the margin of the last element in the #header div will avoid margin collapse - an unexplainable space between divs. If the div has a border around it, this is not necessary as that also avoids the margin collapse */
    padding: 10px 0; /* using padding instead of margin will allow you to keep the element away from the edges of the div */
    /* Tips for sidebar1:
    1. Be aware that if you set a font-size value on this div, the overall width of the div will be adjusted accordingly.
    2. Since we are working in ems, it's best not to use padding on the sidebar itself. It will be added to the width for standards compliant browsers creating an unknown actual width.
    3. Space between the side of the div and the elements within it can be created by placing a left and right margin on those elements as seen in the ".twoColElsRtHdr #sidebar1 p" rule.
    .twoColElsRtHdr #sidebar1 {
    float: right;
    width: 12em; /* since this element is floated, a width must be given */
    background: #EBEBEB; /* the background color will be displayed for the length of the content in the column, but no further */
    padding: 15px 0; /* top and bottom padding create visual space within this div */
    .twoColElsRtHdr #sidebar1 h3, .twoColElsRtHdr #sidebar1 p {
    margin-left: 10px; /* the left and right margin should be given to every element that will be placed in the side columns */
    margin-right: 10px;
    /* Tips for mainContent:
    1. If you give this #mainContent div a font-size value different than the #sidebar1 div, the margins of the #mainContent div will be based on its font-size and the width of the #sidebar1 div will be based on its font-size. You may wish to adjust the values of these divs.
    2. The space between the mainContent and sidebar1 is created with the left margin on the mainContent div.  No matter how much content the sidebar1 div contains, the column space will remain. You can remove this left margin if you want the #mainContent div's text to fill the #sidebar1 space when the content in #sidebar1 ends.
    3. To avoid float drop, you may need to test to determine the approximate maximum image/element size since this layout is based on the user's font sizing combined with the values you set. However, if the user has their browser font size set lower than normal, less space will be available in the #mainContent div than you may see on testing.
    4. In the Internet Explorer Conditional Comment below, the zoom property is used to give the mainContent "hasLayout." This avoids several IE-specific bugs that may occur.
    .twoColElsRtHdr #mainContent {
       margin: 0 13em 0 10px; /* the left margin will look best if you match the padding amount to the header and footer. */
    .twoColElsRtHdr #footer {
    padding: 0 10px; /* this padding matches the left alignment of the elements in the divs that appear above it. */
    background:#DDDDDD;
    .twoColElsRtHdr #footer p {
    margin: 0; /* zeroing the margins of the first element in the footer will avoid the possibility of margin collapse - a space between divs */
    padding: 10px 0; /* padding on this element will create space, just as the the margin would have, without the margin collapse issue */
    /* Miscellaneous classes for reuse */
    .fltrt { /* this class can be used to float an element right in your page. The floated element must precede the element it should be next to on the page. */
    float: right;
    margin-left: 8px;
    .fltlft { /* this class can be used to float an element left in your page */
    float: left;
    margin-right: 8px;
    .clearfloat { /* this class should be placed on a div or break element and should be the final element before the close of a container that should fully contain a float */
    clear:both;
        height:0;
        font-size: 1px;
        line-height: 0px;

  • Linking an image from one page to an image within a slideshow on another page.

    I would like to link an image on my home page with an image within a slideshow on another page of my website. I can create the link, but when I click on the link, instead of taking me to the image within the slideshow, it takes me to the first image of the slideshow which I don't want. Is there a way to link to an image "within" the slideshow and not the first image?

    Hi
    You can create pages with specific images and then use link of images which will open the page with that specific image, link images within slideshow to show exact image within would not be possible with native Muse feature as by default slideshow will open the first image in target.
    Thanks,

  • How can I link an image without leaving the existing window in adobe acrobat??

    Hi everybody
    I'm new using adobe acrobat, but I saw (once) that in a manual, they linked a image.
    Just by passing the mouse over the linked word, the image appears "over" the pdf, without leaving the existing window
    Is this still possible?? and How??
    Thanks for your help

    If you need to do it very often, I've developed a web-service that allows
    you to enter a phrase (let's say "Product 1"), and have an image "pop-up"
    whenever the user hovers or clicks that phrase in your document. Contact me
    personally for more information.

  • Is it possible to submit an image file with PDF form?

    Hello,
    I know that Acrobat does not offer a field for image file submission.
    whether there are workarounds to solve this problem?
    I have found suggestions regarding place an image to button icon:
       event.target.buttonImportIcon();
    but I can't understand is it possible to submit this image to server (Reader supports PDF only).
    Any advices?
    Yury

    Hi Yury,
    Yes, that's correct you can create a button and add a script to it that would prompt the user to select an image file when that button is clicked. Then that image can be displayed using the same button (buttons can show either an image or text).
    The script in question is:
    event.target.buttonImportIcon();
    You need to add it as an Run a JavaScript-action to your button, triggered by the MouseUp event, and of course set the button's layout.
    Please refer to this link : https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-button-form-field-to-insert-a-pdf-file
    On submitting the image it gets embedded with the PDF.
    If the users are using Acrobat they will be able to view the image in the PDF, however if they are using only Reader, you will have to create the form using LiveCycle & then save it in a Reader Extendable Format.

    Aadesh

  • Link to image on webserver

    Hello,
    I was wondering if it's possible to link to an image

    So without downloading the image first.

  • Automatic add links to images

    Hello,
    Another question:
    Is it possible to set up Dreamweaver CS3 so that **on specific pages** an image link will be automatically added once an image is posted on that page?
    Currently, I either need to copy/paste the url address (which is the same as the src url) or "point to file" using that little Dreamweaver line. Considering the number of images I post on my blog -- some that are very large and therefore need the link url so they can be opened on another screen -- it'd be incredibly helpful if I could have the option of automatically adding image links once I place an image on **specific pages**.
    I'm emphasizing "specific pages" because I only need that option sometimes. At other times, I'd prefer to have the image link option blank. (I hope this isn't too confusing...)
    While I'm at it ...
    In a previous version of Dreamweaver, I was able to double click on a window and thus copy the url address of any page/image. Now, I have to manually move the cursor to highlight the url in order to copy the whole thing. If there are dashes in the url, double-clicking doesn't work in Dreamweaver CS3.
    Is there are a way to solve that glitch?
    Anyhow, any assistance would be much appreciated.

    I'm not entirely sure what you mean by automatically adding links to images.   But if you want thumbnail images to open up to full size images on pages, have a look at this litebox extension from FourLevel.

    Sorry, I don't know what the 2nd part of your post means.

  • Is it possible to link Muse websites?

    Hi everyone,
    I ask the question: Is it possible to link Muse websites when they are exported to html? The corporate website I am working on is going to be over 500 pages and 2000 images.
    This website will be posted on an internal company intranet server for evaluation before any chance of it being posted online.
    Because of its size it is impossible to manage this as one site in muse. I thought that I could brake it down in to more managable smaller sites (modules) and export all the HTML files to one folder.
    I have tried this and the smaller sites lose their formatting when testing in a browser.
    Is there anyway to make this work? Do the exported html files have to be in a specific folder/s in relation to each other for it to support each other formatting (CSS)?
    Any help gratefully received.
    best regards, Ian Bradley

    You have the right idea about breaking the site into smaller Muse files to keep things managable. I am not sure how your site is structured and how many pages you would have for each catagory but I would make a Muse file for the top level pages and upload that to your root folder. Then make subdirectories for your other Muse files. Then you would just link them all together using their URLs. Does that make sense? You won't be able to upload a bunch of Muse files into a single root folder.
    Now say you have your website www.website.com and you have a top level page called "bussiness" then you made a separate Muse file with like 30 pages for Business. You would make a subdirectory on your server labeled Business and upload that Business Muse file into that so now that URL would be www.website.com/business and any page in that would be www.website.com/business/theboss.html. Now you can link that url to a business drop down menu and have it link to that page etc.
    I hope this kind of makes sense. I have never made a site this size so this is off of the top of my head.

  • On YouTube, I can't play playlists there. It says I need to update my Java and it is updated already. When I go to different sites like Yahoo! the links and images are all distorted. This is the second time this has happened to me now

    Hello Firefox,
    I am having problems with my Firefox's image processor I believe. My web browser is fine but then a few minutes later I get some weird look on my page. It then just stays here and I can't fix it. When I go to Yahoo all the links and images do not look normal. I really cannot explain this and wish I could send a picture instead. When I go to the Log in page for Facebook I do not see the image of the small faces networking around the world. It's blank and the links are widely spread apart. With YouTube the page is also distorted. Nothing is arranged properly. I can watch videos. However when I go to someone's profile or a playlist videos cannot play or show up. It says I need to update my Java player and it is already updated. It still happens when I uninstall and re install back. I was only able to fix this problem by uninstalling everything related to Firefox. I do not know how to solve this any other way. I don't like it when all my information is lost such as saved passwords and bookmarks. If there is any way to solve this thanks. I don't want to uninstall this again.

    Your above posted list of installed plugins doesn't show the Flash plugin for Firefox.<br />

  • TS2972 I would like to share my iTunes libraries with my Apple TV from both my iMac and Macbook Pro, but I use the same iTunes account on both devices. Is it possible to link my Apple TV to both devices at the same time?

    I recently purchased an Apple TV, and I currently have it linked to my iMac with my iTunes account. I also have a newer MacBook Pro that has some different iTunes media on it than my iMac does, but they share iTunes accounts. Is it possible to link both devices at the same time, have access to media on both computers, and use the same iTunes account on both computers?? It seems Apple TV will only link to one iTunes account per computer, but can access multiple computers if different iTunes accounts are activated on those computers.

    You can share multiple libraries with the Apple TV, they don't even need to use the same iTunes account. Just make sure that you use the same ID for homesharing on all devices.

  • Is it possible to link from a Google Map to a DPS article?

    Hey everybody,
    I'm using DPS to produce an iPad travel magazine about Berlin. One feature shoul be a Google Map with all the Points Of Interest from the articles. I want to set links from the articles to the POIs which is possible as far as I know. But is it also possible to link thge other way round, from a POI tooltip in the Google Map to an article produced in DPS? The map will be entirely online.
    Thanks for your help!
    Timo

    You can use social sharing URLs to link from the map to your DPS application, provided it is a multi-issue publication and not a Single Edition application.
    The advantage to this approach is your readers will be able to see your DPS content even if they aren't on a mobile device, as the web viewer will render the content in those situations.
