Is it possible to name my coredump file?

Hi,
The default coredump file is named "core."
I am running a few programs off the same working directory. If two or more of them coredump, I can only get the last one because the later one overwrites the previous one.
So, my questions, if it possible, how I can name my corefile name, like "core.myappl?"

Register a new Screen Name
Go to iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts and use the Plus Sign at the bottom of the list
Add new Account/Screen Name.
Either Drag all Buddies from Old List to new List or do same with Contacts in the Address Book (It depends if you have them with Real Names so they are in the Address Book)
Now, in iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts highlight the Old Name and then press the Minus Button to delete.

When I'm using the classical " app.execMenuItem("SaveAs"); " saving button, I always get the original file name in the dialog saving box (in order to save it locally). Is it possible to change this predetermined file name? where can I change it?

Adobe does not support this option. You have to live with it. Any way users get choice to change location and file name in the SaveAs window.

To change the screenshot capture location to a new place on your Mac, first think of a location that would serve you properly. We like to place ours in a "Screenshot" folder located inside of the User's "Pictures" folder. To change the location to this new location, open the Terminal and enter the following command:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /Users/[u]/Pictures/Screenshots/
Replace "[u]" with the name of the user on your system. Once you have entered this command, let's restart the screen capture utility by restarting the SystemUIServer by entering the following command:
killall SystemUIServer
You can optionally log out and back in instead of entering this second command, thus restarting the SystemUIServer. Once restarted, all screen captures taken from here on out will end up in your /Pictures/Screenshots/ folder in the User's home folder on your Mac.

Is it possible to pickup a specific file from a folder?

I am wondering whether it is possible to pick a specific file from a folder. I have a shape where I have got a filename and I need to look for it in a folder.
Is that possible?
And how can I achieve this? The next step is to pick the file up and transfer it to another location. So basically in pseudo code I need to ask my defined folder with a filename as parameter. Get the file and move it to another folder.

Assuming you are using orchestration, you could
create an assembly, install it in the GAC, add a reference to it in your BTS
project, and call it from an Expression shape to resolve the receive
location. You would only really need one static method in a class. Be sure
to add a reference to Microsoft.BizTalk.ExplorerOM.dll.

Getting the local full path name of a file from an item File Browser

Hi all,
I would like to get the local full path name, of a file selected from an item 'File browser'.
I see in wwv_flow_files the column 'name', but actually it's a kind of id like 'F1542335/myFile.gif' for example.
What i want is the local path of this file ("C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\....\myFile.gif").
I hope this is possible??

Please understand that I searched before posting, and not ony 15 min.
What i mean is that the value of a File Browser in an Apex applocation is something like 'F1542335/myFile.gif', but what I need is the local path location.
And 'F1542335/' is not the local path location, i can't use it. Or maybe there is a way to convert it in a proper path name, such as "C:\Documents and Settings\....", but I don't think so.
So my question is : how to get the local path name of a file in Apex?
I'll answer if I find some good things.

Here is a complete project to copy all the files with the added "ABL," at the start of each line. You need to start a new Project with a BLANK default Form1, and replace all of Form1 code with the code below. When you run this project, you

To retain the same file name in target(File) that coming from source system(AS2).

I have a requirement to send the two file from the third party system(GXS) to SAP ECC via SAP PI(version - 7.4). We are using AS2 adapter at the sender side to pick the file and using File Adapter to place the file in ECC.
Its a pass through scenarion(No ESR part is used).
Requirement:
We are going to get 2 files ->Example: one from Axis and another one from ICICI -> each bank file will have a file name ->
We have to post the file at the target system with the same name as source file name, the source file name could come dynamically(with diff time stamp).
Please let me know, Is it possible to achieve the above requirement(we have to retain the file name in target that coming from source system) with Sender AS2 adapter, If yes then please suggest the best approach.

2. Another solution we can use the graphical mapping and need to use the dynamic config UDF at mapping level to acheive this requirement but here is one drawback - we need to do content conversion is this case.

There is a file in a directory say C:\abcd
I want to find the name of the file in that directory.
There is only one file in that directory

That was a little abrupt and rude of you. Oracle_Friend was only asking if anyone knew of a way to detect the existence of a file in a directory, not exactly asking the world of us. And for all you know he probably has already searched in documentation, but probably isn't quite sure what to look for.

Hello Gana,
Actually while exporting the data using Info Spoke, we have the possibility to modify the data that we send. This is possible using transformations.
In your Info Spoke, you have a tab called Transformations.
Here you need to create an implementation and then use BADi to populate data.
Check if you can write a start routine sort of thing here and insert a new record into the internal table by hardcoding with your field headings.
Let me know if you dont know how to create transformations.

Name of processed file in a module processor in XI 3.0

I've got the scenario : Flat file -> XI -> IDOC.
I have configured the parameter "source file name" with "*.xml" in the file adapter.
Now i try to capture in a moule processor the name of the file which is processed (for exemple : 123456.xml) and for that i try to use the "LookupManager" class and the "InboudRuntimeLookup" class for having the current channel and after i use the method : String res = (String) MyChannel.getValueAsString("file.sourceFileName") and in the two cases the result is "*.xml" so the configuration parameter... I don't understand how to get the current name of the file !
I have do that in xi2.0 with a dispatcher and i know that it's possible to use this dispatcher with XI3.0 but i don't want to do that because after XI 3.0 the usage of a dispatcher is not permitted !
So if anybody has an idea for doing that in XI3.0...

Can anyone help me?

Realising my mistake I would like to re-name the .xml file, is that possible now that iTunes have already accepted my podcast?

Sure, just copy your old file over to the new URL.
Then edit the "old" copy and cram this into it:

So when Apple visits the old one, they find the new one.
You can also do the fancy 301 redirect (not 302) if you know what that means, or want to figure it out. It's an HTTP response code in the HTTP protocol to note that a document has "permanently moved"

Mapping physical file name to logical file name

Can anybody let me know wht is the procedure to map a logical file name to physical file name. wht is the use of logical file name when there exists physical file name?

As far as creating the Logical path its done through the transaction code file by using options
Steps are:
1. Logical file path definition which is logical file path name.
2. Assignment of physical path to logical path - where we give the physical path to the logical path name defined in the last step.
After creating the Logical path the procedure to attach the file name to the Logical path is as follows:
Use the function Module C13Z_FRONT_END_TO_APPL to upload the file from the front end to the application server.
Source file on front end will be the CSV file path which is to be uploaded to the application server
Target file on application server will be the physical path of the file on the application server where the file is to be uploaded.
Attach the physical path of the file on the application server to the Logical file using transaction code file.
Logical File: The Logical name of the file which will be used by the interfaces to upload the file
Physical file: The name of the physical file on the application server
Logical path: The path of the physical file on the application server where it is stored.
The possible reason for the use of Logical file name could be we can have directories within SAP in which we can have logical files stored. These files can be used by various interfaces. Different Logical paths can be used for different interfaces. the second reson can be to give more user friendly name to the file rather than a long physical name to the file.

Name of the file (in utl_file) with date and time

Instead of the below:

By SAP methods, this is not possible. There is no way to do that. May you can suggest it on our Community of Innovation. See note 11.
This is not only your concern. Some customers already request this functionallity.
