Is it possible to sell assets through a sales order

Hi,
Is it possible to sell assets through a sales order?
Kindly help me
Thanks
Supriya

Hi
The basic process are as under:
1. You need to create the asset as non valuated material
2. You need to define a pricing procedure for the sale of asset. This would enable you to create a commerical outgoing invoice as well as capture all the taxes involved.
3. You need to assign suitable revenu and tax accounts in VKOA
4. Create a Sales Order and do the billing. This should create an Accounting entry
Customer A/c Dr
     Revenue - Asset Sale Cr
     Sales Tax/Vat Payable Cr
5. You need to create an outgoing excise invoice for the asset
6. Through T Code ABAON, you need to pass an entry in Asset Accounting for Sale of Asset, with Revenue and W/o Customer. This would pass the accounting entry
Revenue - Asset Sale Dr
    Asset Account Cr
Hope this clarifies
Thanks & Best Regards

  • Is it possible to use digital signature in Sales order of SAP B1 ?

    Hi Experts,
    Version: 8.81 PL07
    Cyrstal report Layout: 2011
Is it possible to use digital signature in Sales order of SAP B1 ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Dwarak

    Hello
Signature by scanned image is possible, you can create a function to do it. please note: images must be inside the reports, and hide them with a CR function.
For certificate based sigbature of CR is not possible, you must develop an addon for that which is do this functionality.

  • Is it possible to change BP Customer in Sales Order ?

    PLease advise,
In sales Order create a order for  a BP customer and ADD.
Is it possible to change the BP customer  added ? As it is the wrong BP customer ?
I do not think so , but I would like confirmation ?
    Thanks
    D

The reason why it is not possible:
    1. Cardcode is possible one of primary key
    2. The document entry and document numbering have been made by system and it is recorded.
The best is cancel the document and then duplicating it. After duplicating, you can now assign the customer code.

  • Is it possible to delete the item in sales order .

    Hi
I have 5 items in the sales order ,
The delivery and billing is over .
But the one line item still shows the open status .
Is it possible to delete that  item in the order ?
    Thanks,
    Phani

    Hi Phani,
Is the Line Item that you want to Delete is not delivered or not Invoiced Yet?
If you haven't done any subsequent processing with that line item, yes you can delete that line item from the sales order. result is you will not see that Line Item number again in the sales order. Even if you look at the sales order line item table, you cannot see that LI number.
    Eg:
If you have 5 line items, 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50, you have NOT DONE delivery billing to any line item (Say 30), you can delete that line item without any issue by selecting DELETE ITEM option in the sales order /Item Overview tab.
Prime Requirement for Deletion: No Delivery billing should be done
If you have partially delivered and / or billed, in that case you cannot use that option.
Then you have another option to close that line.
Go to Line item & select a "Rejection Reason" there. Though you have partially delivered & invoiced, now your line item is closed. It won't appear in you MRP also.
Eg: If you have 100 quantity in the line item, and you have delivered 80. and customer don't want any deliveries again, In that case you can do this.
Best thing is create a new Rejection Reason as "Complete".
Then assign that  "Complete" rejection reason, for this type of scenarios.
    Best regards,

  • Possibility of Entering Discounts in Quick Sale Order Screen

client wants the below mentioned scenario
When sales person creates the order, He should be able give the Discount Percentage. Based on that Unit price needs to be calculated and Displayed.
    For example:
Item A with Price 100 USD
at the point of creating Sale order, he should be able to enter a discount value (for Example - 5%). This is not a pre-defined discount.
Now order value should be for 95 USD
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi
It's possible by setting a profile option and modifier.
Go to System profile. Select profile = OM: Discounting Privileges and set value to "Full" or "Unlimited" (Depend on your need)
Next, setup % discount modifier. Don't forget to select "Automatic" and "Override" check box. For this step you can set as dummy discount modifier and set % rate = 0So let try entering S.O. You just enter it as normal. for each order line, just click "actions" button and then select "Edit Price Adjustment" Now you can enter number of % discount in "Rate" field. Then click "Apply" button.
    That's all
    Hope it help...

  • Is it possible to change pricing procedure in sales order VA02

    Hi,
My client need to change the pricing procedure in their RETURN order because they implemented a new pricing procedure for the specific distribution channel.  However, since the return order was created with reference to invoice, the old pricing procedure was copied instead of the new that was implemented.  Is there a way that they can still change the pricing procedure in the return order?  Here is the scenario for better understanding.
    1. Sub-distributor sales order created (distribution channel = 60) on 5/24/2014.  The pricing procedure maintained was ZRVB01.
    2. Delivery and Billing was created on the same date with pricing procedure ZRVB01.
    3. A new pricing procedure ZRVB12 was created for distribution channel 60 on 6/2/2014.
    3. Return order was created with reference to the billing document in step 2 on 6/24/2014.  The pricing procedure of the return order was still ZRVB01, instead of ZRVB12.
    4. In VA02, the field pricing procedure is not modifiable.
Need advice how my client can proceed in correcting the pricing procedure on their return order.
    Appreciate your response.
    Thank you.
    Emil

Since your requirement is to calculate the different price for the returned qty, please check for the return order if you can make any manually change the price as required.
Please note you can not change the pricing procedure in document, but you can change the price of the material as suggested above.
I assume you already knew the pricing procedure determination, how it is determined.(Sales area+DPP+CPP).
If you want to have different pricing procedure to be determined for the same customer in return sales , you must have the following determination so that it would be determined the 2nd pricing procedure during return order.
    Example :
For standard sales : Sales area + DPP in OR(A- standard)+ CPP( 1 standard) =ZRVB01
For return Sales : Sales area + Dpp in RE (B- return)+CPP(1 standard) =ZRVB12.
    thanks,
    Srinu.

  • Running a Invoice Form (VF00) through VA02 (Sales Order).

    Hi All,
I am a little puzzled by our functional team. My SD Functional expert wants me to run the invoice form (Billing output type or V3) from VA02 (Sales output type or V1).
Currently, we have the invoice print program tied to a invoice smartform. He wants all the functionality to be there on the invoice form, but to be able to run from VA02/VA03 (Sales order). So, run INVOICE from VA02. Currently we have a custom program modeled after RLB_INVOICE sap print program and our smartform is modeled after LB_BIL_INVOICE.
Can anyone suggest if they have done something like this before?

  • Plant change in Sales Order not possible due to Sales Order BOM

    Hi all,
we are trying to change the Delivery Plant in a Sales Order after the creation of a Sales Order BOM, but it gives a V1773 message first, then a blocking error V1810. The same happens with a Production Order.
How can we change the Delivery Plant after the creation of one of these objects?
    Our scenario:
    - Make To Order
    - Sales Order BOM created with transaction CS61
    - Sales Order Routing created with transaction CA01
We need to create the Sales Order BOM on the Production Plant (which doesn't change), but we need to be able to change the Delivery Plant in any time.
Should you have further questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks in advance,
    Giuseppe

    Hello Caselli,
For V1773, please check the solution provided by note 588884, which is a modification. With this note it turns possible to delete all multi-level sales order BOM using transaction CSKB, which may be useful.
The behavior mentioned by you is the standard behavior of the system. The scenario works as designed, a plant change is only possible as long as there is no other document assigned to the sales order.
    Longtext of V1 810 says:
The plant can no longer be changed in the following situations:
        2. There is a production order for the order item but it is not a static assembly order.
Your scenario seems to be point 2 as mentioned above. You can check the requirement type (VBAP-BEDAE) and requirement class in OVZH and assembly type (MNTGA) in OVZG.
If you change the plant for the items with existing production orders, it will cause the incorrect values in the COPA. An order item is assigned to plant A and the corresponding production order exits. This
means that the costs are assigned to plant A (this is the place where the costs accrue). Order and production order will be balanced at plant A.
If you now, after the process has already started, should allow to change the order to plant B the following examples of problems will come up:
    - The costs accrued in plant A (see production order)
    - The SD order is now assigned to plant B, this means billing will be with plant B
This leads to the fact the costs are on plant A, plant B has a benefit. Plant A cannot settle the costs and plant B has unexpected earnings. Inconsistencies in all involved process steps, SD, CO, COPA are the results.
If you want to change the plant in the sales order you'll have to perform these steps:
    = Delete the production order.
= Change the plant of the sales order item from A to C.
This should be possible unless there are other documents which are already assigned to this sales    order item. Save.
= Create a new production order and assign it to the sales order item again.
I hope I am able to help you with this information.
    Best Regards,
    Bhavin Joshi

  • Change in  item category  and  settlement of  old sales order not possible

    Hi
I   have to settle   sales orders  in VA88 and  transfer data to COPA.   I  want to do   directly  without  result  analysis. So, in the  item category, I  removed the result analysis key.   And  the  settlement  goes thru.
My issue is that  there are  orders in  July 2010  which  have to be settled,  but  it  does not work since the  changes in  item category has  happened  this month in Aug 2010 and  the  July  sales order are also  invoiced.
Pl  suggest a  solution  to  settle  the  July  sales order  to COPA.
    Thanks
    kamala

    Hi Kamala
I see only one possibility... The old sales order consists of some GL accounts posted in it which is not mapped in the allocation structure...
Alloc Str has 2 parts - i.e. One, it consists of a group of cost elements it has to handle and Two, it consists of the valid settlement receivers like PSG, CTR, etc
You say, this alloc str works well with new sales orders.... The 2nd part of alloc structure (i.e. valid receivers) applies equally to all sales orders.. But what can really differentiate the 2 sales orders is the cost elements posted on it...
I dont foresee any other posslbe reason
