Is it possible to spread the commitment on a value limited blanket order?

Hi - I want to create a value limited blanket order, e.g. over the next 12 months I expect to spend about £12,000 with a service provider.
I will be billed at monthly intervals and the amount will vary from month to month but it will never be more than 2k in any one month (so it could be say £150 in moth one and £1,500 in month two ).
At the moment when I look at my planning reports then full £12k commitment appears in the period that is associated with the default delivery date on the PO.
There are no deliveries as such and GR is not required for this process - I just want to be able to book the invoice as and when it comes in but check the monthly value does not exceed the 2k limit and that overall the annual limit of £12 is not exceeded.
So is it possible for me to spread the commitment so that it appears as 12 equal instalments on 1k for each period of the PO validity period?
Ideally I don't want to have to revisit the PO and massage it with each incoming invoice.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

    Hi somnath,
    It is very much possible to change the sold-to-party in the change mode of Sales order(VA02).
    Goto VA02-->enter the sale order number.
    Press enter.
    In the overview screen if you change the sold-to-party then every thing will be redetermined(Taxes and pricing procedure etc...).These will be determined from CMr etc.
    You cannot change the sold-to-party at the partners tab that is present in the Header details.
    It will be greyed out.
    If you change the sold-to-party at the overview screen as suggested earlier it will not apply to the item.
    You are also going to see this message while changing.
    And finally save the document.

    I experienced the same issue in last December, at first it was the motherboard issue so they got it replaced but when they tried to set it up the screen was broken, so I have no idea how long I have to wait. I just want to say It had been a joy and wonderful experience to use the phone so there were actually a lot of important information and memorable things kept in the phone which I would die for, I even tried to request that would it be possible to have the damaged motherboard back or could they at least try to restore the datas back to the phone. If anyone has done similar thing before and managed to complain through email please let me know the email I will be very appreciate!

    I bought this phone in the end of last September and this is speaking from a proud loyal user of Sony products and I have owned wide range of products like Bravia television, home theater system, and Playstations, they have been a great pleasure to me. I have been waiting for nearly two months. Most importantly is that I have to study overseas next month so what should I do if the same problem happens again? Therefore I asked for a replacement and they said they would try for it and wait for approval from their manager but chances are very low.
    For quite sometime I have been looking for the email of customer support but so far I could only manage to get the contact number, seriously Sony? Maybe it was my mistake but I just couldn't find the email contact except for regions like US and Europe since those regions are far more popular compared to where I am, a country that probably no one has ever heard of-Malaysia. I know it's no luck to seek for support from Sony Malaysia, so I was actually trying to look for international office for Asia region, but so far I could only find Australia and Hong Kong, therefore I gave it a try but it appeared to be an error link that led to nowhere.
    Since I couldn't find the email at all I was given no choice but to call the customer support. I was really frustrated and unsatisfied with the solution they offered during the first call, saying that if the phone breaks again I can only bring it back from overseas to the repair centre in my home country just to get it fixed whenever I have the chance to go back.

    Sorry to hear that, but this forum is for us, users, and what you need is someone from Xperia Care to find your motherboard and send it back, I don't think it'll be possible to retrieve any data from a broken motherboard.

    WithOUT purchasing a Mach or iCloud (I actually think I have one of the later, but rarely have checked it) account, is there anything I can do to responsibly protect my account?

    These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
    Backup the library with this User Tip.
    Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
    Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
    Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
    Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
    Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
    I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
    Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should  merge the existing data from the device.
    If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
    Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

    I want to spread the data loads in  our BW system, as a BASIS person how do I identify the jobs if they are full loads or delta loads, our goal is to make the load on the system to be evenly distributed as we see too many data loads starting and running around the same time.     Hello Siva,
    As already mentioned the solution is to include the different steps of the data flow, extraction , ODS activation , rollup etc
    in process chains and schedule these chains to run at differet times so that they do not place too much load on the system.
    If the problem is specific to data loads  on the extraction step then I guess that maybe you see the resource problem on the
    source system side, if you don't have the load distribtion switched on in the RFC connection to the source system it is
    possible that you can specify that the source system extraxction jobs are executed on a particular application server,
    please see the information in the 'Solution' part of the note 147104 and read it carefully.

    The Fund Reservation configuration containing with Fund, Fund Centre & Commitment Item is linked with Asset at the time of creation of PR.
    If we change the asset in PR, the new Commitment Item is showing after GR posting.
    At the same time old commitment item is showing through Invoice Posting.
    Is it possible GR reversal after capitalization of Asset ? 
    Invoice raised through FB60 not MIRO.  Hence, Invoice No. details are not shown in PO History.  Payment made and the capitalization impact shown in the Asset Master also.
    Please confirm the following:
    If the open GR (capitalized) in PO - Is it possible to lock the relevant Asset?
    If the open GR (capitalized) in PO - Is it possible to block the PO?
    Expecting few valuable guidelines from MM forum.

    Does anybody now if the action of requesting a SC can built up a commitment. If the approver reject the SC the commitment should be rejected. In the PO creation the commitment shouldn't be created.
    Is that possible? if it is, can anybody give me some idea how it could be done.

    We find the same issue in here. I have checked this forum, and get notes 900825 in which it is mentioned that the solution is possible using Badi only (not changing SAP standard). But unfortunately it is considered consulting issue and SAP would charge for this.
    I was thinking that perhaps we can utilize BADI triggered during SC creation, in which the BADI should be able to call FM in backend which can be used to create commitment. This commitment should be deleted afterward whenever the SC is rejected or the PO has been created as follow-on document (another BAdi should be utilized which will need to call FM to change the commitment).
    However I'm stuck on the function module that we can use in backend. For anyone reading this post, can you help?

    hi experts,
    through OBD4 (G/L Account Group - change field status) i have suppressed the Commitment item field status as well as in OBC4 (Field status variants) suppressed the commitment item field status.
    but when i tried to post accounting doc to other expense account which has the suppressed commitment item settings, system still asking for commitment item.
    the error message is "No commitment item entered in item 00001 xxxx xxxxxxxx"
    using FMDERIVE and maintain the account accordingly, no more error comes.
    question:
    - does it mean the commitment item (CI) check control designed at Company / Controlling area level?
    - is it possible to tell the system asking the CI entry for particular account only?

    thanks for the input.
    with PSM-FM is activated along with its relevant settings, the posting to accounting transaction requires commitment item.
    hence, for non-budget relevant account i created separate commitment item (non budget purpose) with suitable Comm. Item Category & Finance Trans. and maintain the derivation.
    it gave me the expected result for checking budget in particular account.

    unless i'm missing something, i think you got mixed up, this is easy google for walk throughs
    i'm assuming this is the new 3tb tc AC or 'tower' shape, if so, its wifi will run circles around your at&t device
    unplug the at&t box for a minute and plug it back in
    factory reset your tc - unplug it, hold down reset and keep holding while you plug it back in - only release reset when amber light flashes in 10-20s
    connect the tc to your at&t box via eth in the wan port, wait 1 minute, open airport utility look in 'other wifi devices' to setup the tc
    create a new wifi network (give it a different name than your at&t one) and put the tc in bridge mode (it may do this automatically for you, but you should double check) under the 'network' tab
    login to your at&t router and disable wifi on it
    add new clients to the new wifi network, and point your Macs to the time machine for backups
