Is it possible to string multiple sound files together using code?

Say I recorded and imported sound files of my voice saying "Two", "Four", "Equals", and "Plus"
Would it be possible to have Flash on click string together those sound files like a string so that the user would hear:
"Two...Plus...Two...Equals...Four."

yes, the sound class and its related classes have all the methods and events you need for that. you would, for example, use the sound class and the soundchannel's soundComplete event to string sounds together starting one after a previous finished.

We're using SharePoint 2013 and I'm trying to modify the search results page for one site collection. By default, it uses the search results page from the parent site which is the search center being used by default for the web application. I need to make
sure that the site collection will only retrieve search results within the site collection (search everything has to be disabled). I found a way but I had to create another search center site to accomplish this, otherwise, it will affect the search center
site of all other site collections on the web app.

According to your description, you want to retrieve the search results within the site collection.
As a workaround, you can create a custom result source for the site collection and you will retrieve the search result within the site collection.

Can I link multiple project files together?

I'd like to link multiple project files together so that they will play one after another. Can you do that in Captivate?

Yes, you can create several projects in Captivate and publish them as Flash (SWF) format. There is an aggregator project in Captivate where in you can combine all these published projects (SWF) into a single output.

Linking KN9 files together using hyperlinks, fades to black

When linking KN9 files together using hyperlinks, I press play the document being linked to fades in, then out to a black screen and after a couple of seconds returns to the files open files on my desktop.
I've checked all the setting and it even does it on 2 empty pages I tested with no transitions or document settings.
If I open both document before pressing play it's OK but because I have several large files being linked together I dont want to have to open all the files before presenting to clients etc.

The History
I reported the hyperlinking problem over a year ago when I updated Keynote from version 5.0.5 to version 5.1. According to the Apple tech that I wroked with at that time the Apple engineers had reproduced the issue and had put it on the fix list (Case 235638615). I then worked with Apple in December 2011 to test a version that supposedly fixed the problem, but did not, so Apple sent me a data logging monitor program which I ran and sent back. The Apple tech asked me to be patient as it might take awhile for the Apple engineers to fix the issue. When version 5.2 came out I reran my testing suite of presentations and found that the hyperlinking issue had still not been fixed. I have tried to contact Apple about my case since July 26th - my emails to the Apple tech with whom I worked back in December bounce back as undeliverable and he does not answer his phone (I have left messages with no replies) plus when I try to use Apple support to follow up on the case, all I get is a message to contact my Apple tech (Doh!). If Apple techs or Apple engineers watch the forums I hope they look into unresolved Case 235638615.
The Workaround
Hyperlinking worked fine with 5.0.5 - the .key files would load and display and did not have to be preloaded prior to runing the linked presentations. Version 5.1 through the current version 5.2 require all of the linked presentations to be preloaded prior to running them. Prior to the current version of Lion, I was able to manually run version 5.0.5 to successfully run my system of 32 presentations. The only downsides were that I could not use any transitions or animations introduced with version 5.1 and I had to force quit Keynote 5.0.5. However, when I tried that solution this month, it would not work. So I created an Automator app to load the appropriate subset of presentations for each day of the five day class and used version 5.2. Everything went okay with preloaded presentations.
I love using Keynote and do not want to go back to PowerPoint, so I hope Apple fixes this issue. I think we have been more than patient with the Apple engineers.

Is it possible to have multiple bookmarks files or tabs with different content, like Bookmarks 1, Bookmarks 2 etc. inside the same profile?

I guess this is more like a new feature in Firefox. I work at home and would like to separate work related bookmarks in a separate bookmarks file which is as easily available like a standard bookmarks tab. I propose a possibility to add multiple bookmarks tabs in the menu bar. It would be nice if those tabs could be renamed at will...

You can organize them in a few main folders (Home, Work, etc.) to make it easier to distinguish the bookmarks.
You can also export the Bookmarks to an HTML file and make copies of that file with the needed bookmarks.<br />
You can open such a HTML file in a Firefox tab and middle-click a link to open that link in a new tab.

Is it possible to load multiple .xlsx files into a SQL Server Table using SSIS and a Foreach Loop Container when each Excel spreadsheet is comprised of two different worksheets

So we have an Invoice .xlsx File from a 3rd party vendor. It contains two worksheets..."Enrolled" and "Engaged". The data and data columns in each worksheet is different. Is it possible to loop through multiple .xlsx files using SSIS
and a Foreach Loop Container for each spreadsheet, and then another Foreach Loop Container to control each worksheet, and pump the Excel data into a SQL Server Table first for "Enrolled" and then for "Engaged"? How can I control the Foreach
Loop Container in SSIS to process ONLY the "Enrolled" worksheet first? And then the "Engaged" worksheet next?
I know I have multiples out here and I apologize for that...but right now it seems as though I take three steps forward and then two back.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

If the structure of the Excel sheets does not change from file to file then you can by having one ForEach Loop processing always the "Enrolled" sheet and another always the "Engaged" this is doable because the Excel OLEDB connector allows
to pick individual sheets, it is problematic therefore when sheet names themselves change.

Playing Multiple sound file simultanyoustly

Is there a Professional audio product that could fit my needs ? I want to have a soundcard that can play a lot of soundfile at the same time. Maybe 10 to 20 wave or mp3 at the same time.

You should have wrote little more specific what are you going to do but I assume you're going to make your own music (record different instruments etc.).
So, you mean multitracker/sequencer, products like Cakewalk Sonar and Steinberg Cubase.
These I mentioned can play 'unlimited' amount of audio files (all depends on your system capabilities). These can handle MIDI files too.
If you are going to buy a Creative Pro (E-MU) line product you get LE (limited edition) version of some of this type of recording/mixing/mastering software bundled with the card. I don't know the full capabilities of these stricted applications but I suppose they can fit into your requirements.

If you meant to output frome those 10 - 20 analog (stereo) sources simultaenously and individually then, (almost) every card can handle them internally, but you need atleast two or more soundcards with each having lots of stereo output channels available to get all that sound out (all sources individually, without interferencig with each other). I would recommend then 1 or two PCI cards with external box (like E-MU 1820) and/or types of FireWire (like RME FireFace 800) or USB cards then.
You can ofcourse split one analog 6.1 output system (eg. 3 output ports) to three stereo output channels using ASIO drivers, but you need then an ASIO compatible player (!! ASIO is not always multiclient driver so there may be restrictions if same model sound cards are used) (i.e. Audigy 2 is a 6.1 card --> I can get 3 separate stereo output channels into use by using ASIO drivers with two of the three players --> I can therefore output from 3 different sources simultaenously to 3 different outputs without they mixes with each other)

Play multiple sound files in different frames from library in flash

My assessment task for college is to create a webpage of my work. So far it runs brilliantly except for this. I only need this to be working in like 2 days! Help!

Trying to be able to play sound clips from the library with the option to play and stop the sound file. Each sound has its own frame, with stop and play buttons. I can run the first sound file perfectly being able to start and stop it but when trying to play the next sound it creates the above error on output. I have dead buttons as well on the second sound.

The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope. This could mean that the object....
- is declared but not instantiated
- doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
- does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
- is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
- is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s).
If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved.

Ah, sorry, strike that. You want multiple files. I think the easiest way is to simply parse with DOM. [http://www.w3schools.com/xpath/default.asp] . And here [http://www.w3schools.com/xpath/default.asp].
You can output the various XML elements using a PrintWriter or creating a separate DOM document for each file you want to create and serializing that.

How to run multiple java files concurrently using command line?

Hi,
I have to write a script to run multiple java files and c files concurrently. Say, A and C are java files and B is another binary executable file, I have to make sure they are run in the order A-B-C, then I was trying to run by using
java A & ./B & java C
But it turned out that B could run before A started... Is there any way that I can ensure that A runs before B, and B runs before C by using the command line?

if B can't find the info it wants, it fails to move on. That's why I need to make sure A starts before B.No, you need to make sure A's data is there before B tries to use that data.

Combining Multiple XML files to use in Flash

I am still fairly new at the whole Flash...XML thing but I
was wondering if it is possible to combine several XML files used
to build photo galleries into one single XML file that Flash could
then read which gallery depending on which gallery is selected.
Basically I have about 10 photo galleries and 10 XML files. Each
XML file is named different and in Flash I have the gallery calling
the XML file. I was thinking it would clean things up a lot and
make editing easier if I can some how make one XML with all the
galleries contained inside the XML then write a variable or
something so Flash knew which gallery to open when activated.
Similar to how you have to write the variables for a text doc file.
Any help would be great.

the Methods Doc.importDataObject() and util.readFileIntoStream().
Both Methods allow the Selection of just one File.
1)I need a Technique to allow the User to select several Files in just one Step.
Does anybody know a possible Solution?
2)I would like to limit the File-Selection to certain File-Types.
Is this possible?

Is it possible to add multiple sound objects to a slide

I am wanting to make slides that contain several "cards". Each card would have a word on it (sight words for elementary students). I'd like to place 2 speech bubble graphics on each card. Students would click one of the bubbles to hear the word read to them (me recording the words). They would click the 2nd bubble if they wanted the word read in the context of a sentence.
Is this possible within Keynote? I know that it's possible within Powerpoint to make any object a sound object--and I believe that I could do more than one on a slide.
However, I've never tried anything like this in Keynote and I'm not sure if it's even possible.
Any ideas?

Keynote is designed primarily for linear presentations, and really doesn't have any capability to do actions (other than hyperlinks) when an object is clicked. If you wanted each card to play the two recordings in order on each click, then you could do this in Keynote, but if you want the second recording to play only if the students clicks on it, then this isn't really possible in Keynote.
