Is it possible to use "c/c++" developed library in java?

hello all
i have a convertor. which convert wav to mp3 and it is developed using "c". now i want to use that in java. is it possible? if possible then how?
i am working in a project where the project (convertor) will be in server and client will access that from the client pc within a network. now i want to use that convertor which is developed using "c".
anyone can tell me how can i do that??

The previous answers are correct - you can do what you need by using JNI.
However, there are serveral products, so-called "JNI wrappers" that allow you to call any C function from Java without learning JNI.

I'll back up Peter on this one. InDesign is tied to the specific C++ ABI and therefore you can only use the same compiler to build plugins. There can even be problems with differing versions of CodeWarrior.
Unfortunately I don't have a good answer for you as CW is generally no longer available for purchase. I'd start a conversation with Developer Technical Support to begin with. You can also perhaps search Ebay. Finally, as I recall CW10 was released for free from MetroWerks. If you can find that there is a chance, however slim, you could get CW10 to build a CS2 plugin.

I'm not an expert in this matter, but I will post here what I know:
In NW7 releases (at least 7.01.05) it is possible to run JS, also to capture any WD Event and run your own JS code after that, using IFRAME. I have jQuery running here, it would take some time till you create a "framework" to enable some easy usage. I just want to highlight that is possible, thou I think it's a lot of effort.
Not sure about CE7.1 it seems iFrame is deprecated. Still, being deprecated should not "block" the usage, thou it's not recommended since this functionality can be removed in next releases.
I've read that CE7.2 has JS support, and I think you should try having a word with Armin maybe..

I am planning to consolidate one of my iTunes library, move it to external source and configure external hard drive to be used by my iTunes library permanently.
For this purpose, I bought 5big NAS pro network storage hardware. I completed all basic setup and now I need help on designing access methodology.
Question is : Does external iTunes library supports to be used by more than one iTunes application? if not what will be the closest solution to save storage and ease of library management?

My memory of MFC is pretty hazy, but I seem to recall that PropertyPage and PropertySheet are used for building tabbed panes, so the equivalent in Java would be JTabbedPane. I would also guess that JList is the equivalent of ListView.

[EDIT] I have overcome the above problem by creating an IView, and then using that PCD URL in my configuratioin settings - at least my form is called now, although its not executing correctly (yet)... My question still remains - Are ITS forms still supported?
What am I doing wrong here, and how do I call an ITS ISR in ESS/MSS? Are ITS forms still supported?

I have developed an PCR as an ITS form as well, and when I select "Personnel Change Request" ain the portal and then choose my form, I get this error message:
No Adobe Form Is Assigned to the Scenario

i don't think you could ever protect the jsp code and it wouldn't do you much good to bother anyway, since anyone with a browser can just "View Source" and see all the HTML on the page anyway.
the only thing you would want to protect is your java source. you don't have to distribute the .java files with your application, just the .class's. you could try and obfuscate the .class files, but a determined person will always be able to reverse it back to a .java program and read it. it would take a bit of work and knowhow though, so figure out how smart the consumer is going to be and if they will be able to figure out how to reverse .class files back to .java

Is it possible to use BlazeDS with the new GAE Java update? It's working on the local development server, but not on the online one. iTunes accounts or Windows accounts?
You can put an iTunes library in a shared location and have two different Windows accounts connected to it. This works fine as long as you don't try to use fast user switching and leave iTunes open in the other account.
Managing purchases and application updates with multiple IDs is slightly more complex than using a single ID as you need to actively sign out of one ID and into the other, but it is certainly possible.

The title says it all. I downloaded OS X Lion Server using my apple developer account? Will it stay after my 1 year enrolment is over? I basicaly signed in and redeemed a code to download OS X Lion Server. It is now in my purchased list in the Mac App Store. But I got it by redeeming a code that I got through being an Apple Mac Developer. I wanted to know if I decided not to pay $99 next year to renew my enrolment, will I still be able to keep OS X Lion Server in my purchased list in the Mac App Store. When I click on More Apps by Apple in the Mac App Store, it takes me to the page with all their apps. OS X Lion Server says it is installed. But I want to know if it will still be in the purchased menu after the enrolment is finished and not renewed.

I am a new Mac Developer. I checked the page you gave me and I think it's more to do with topics about programming and using the developer tools and pre-release software. I don't think my question relates to any of the topics there. OS X Lion Server has already been released and is available for the public. I was planning on buying it. But before I did that I wanted to become a developer. So I enrolled in the Mac Developer program and I went to download OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview 2 when I realized that I could also download the already released OS X Lion Server which was available for $50. So instead of buying it from the Mac App Store, I just got the redemption code from the Mac Developer Center and downloaded it free of charge (I did pay the $99 to be a Mac Developer though). Now it has been added to the purchased list in the Mac App Store and when I click the More Apps by Apple button in the Mac App Store, it takes me to the page with all Apple apps. And now on that page it says that OS X Lion Server has been installed. I am just wandering if once my enrollment is over next year April, and I decide not to renew my enrolment, will I still be able to have the OS X Lion Server in my list of purchased apps and still be able to re-download it? Sorry if this is too long, but I am trying to be as clear as possible. Sometimes when I ask questions, I wait a whole day and go back there, only to find out that they didn't understand what I meant. They want to use Approval Workflow for payments (AP). Payments should not be paid, until authorized manager approve transaction. Transactions are classified according to their amounts. Transactions should be diverted to authorized personnal, according to their Approval Limit. And this approval may be serial or parallel.
