Is it true that if you charge your phone on a charger that isn't from apple it will mess up your battery?? I just bought a charger from Hong Kong and I want to make sure my battery is safe
You should only use Apple Approved Chargers.

Changing the carrier to which your iPhone is assigned, without the carrier's approval, is not only a violation of your contract with the carrier, which may have civil liability penalties, it also is an unauthorized modification of your iPhone, which voids any and all support from Apple, for anything related to your iPhone.

I have updated my iphone with the current software but it is showing you need to connect to of itunes to activate your phone, when i did that it is continuously showing an error.please help me to get through.

where do i start! ugh please i hope someone can help me ... so i never had the icloud on and i dont know why it was turned off but it was and i went to import all my pictures on my computer and in the middle of importing a message popped up and said there was a software update for my iphone. so i clicked on continue for the update and then all of a sudden my phone shut down and on the screen the "itunes" icon came up and it says connect to itunes. sooo i connect my phone in the computer and nothing happens! so then a box shows up and says to restore my phone so i hit that thinking maybe my pictures will come back up and nothing!! can someone please help me?? im desperate bc i had like 4000 pics on that phone all from when my daughter was born until now i lost everything

<Email Edited by Host>You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera, particularly before any update.
If you have failed to do this, then they are likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup. -

This means that your phone was hacked to be unlocked. Updating it restored the phone to Apple specs and re-locked to the original carrier.
You will need to find out who the original carrier is and see if you qualify for unlocking. -
Have you gotten your iPhone 6 Plus you pre-ordered on 9/12?? I'm still waiting...till the end of OCTOBER! Because, I billed half to my account, as the system LET me do this and the other half to my debit card. Well they tried to take out the FULL PURCHASE PRICE on 9/23. It didn't go thru and they cancelled the order! I NEVER GOT ANY EMAIL from Verizon! I called this evening to find out the status of my order. Was told that since the device is on backorder, I cannot Bill to Account!!!! I am BEYOND LIVID! I realize that it's "JUST A PHONE' BUT, I should have had my device by Friday! NOW, I have to wait another month at best. I do NOT have credit cards and since this phone is on backorder, will have to wait another week before I can order it and by that time, it'll be CHRISTMAS before I can order a phone. Who knows, I may just save that money and CANCEL EVERY SINGLE LINE on my account. Three will be Month to month so NO ETF's with those lines!
its a bunch of **. they charged my credit card on sunday, my status still says no payment, no tracking #, they told me my phone was going to ship monday and I've gotten a different story every day since. today they told me they shipped out all the phones and are waiting for more to come in...blah blah blah. i ordered on 9/12 and my friend that ordered the same exact phone on 9/19 got his on tuesday and laughed at me for preordering. I'm very frustrated!

How can your phone support employees be that incompetent and still be hired?
The number of people you have to talk to and the number of times you have to explain your issue is extraordinarily frustrating. I sign up for a time for a return call and then I am called outside of that time frame and told in a voicemail since I missed the call I will have to begin the process and my request from the beginning. The time frame for the call was offered to me and confirmed twice but I was still called outside of that time. Then I have to re-explain everything over again because apparently there is no communication on my account as to what the issue was. I was then connected with customer service as I wanted to file a complaint and the representative said "I can't hear you" and immediately hung up. This is not the first time this has happened either. This company needs to start caring about their customers more, monopoly or not. I am really questioning my sanity for having remained with the company this long.

Thank you for your advise! I didn't even think about a grain of rice blocking the entrance to the port. I just assumed it was Apple's way of blocking any form of liquid to get in the system. You are right, there was one grain that was blocking the port. I finally was able to remove it and now I can charge my phone again. Have a good day!

If your device has been jailbroken during the warranty, Apple will not service it.

I am a teacher who would love to create the game "who wants to be a millionaire" with my own questions. I would use this for test reviews. I can't not find something for the mac. It is out there for the PC, but my class room is mac based. I can't use anything that will allow me to run the mac in windows, either. Since upgrading to iOS 7 we no longer can delete an entire album from the device. Each song must be deleted. Is there any way to have that function back?
From your Album view just give the album a flick to the left and a red Delete button will appear on the right.
