Is je.jar the only thing expected?

Am I right installing only the je.jar (and documentation), or are there additional things a JE-using developer might expect? Do I need to regenerate the documentation (`ant javadoc-all'?)
Should I build the `with.clover' target?
Also, is the `test' target the most comprehensive and all-inclusive one, or should I do things like `regress' separately?
I'm sorry to be asking so many questions, but the released README file seems truncated...

regenerate the documentation (`ant javadoc-all'?)I think it is best if you install only the je.jar and copy the contents of the je-3.1.0/docs directory. I wouldn't try to rebuild the javadoc, because we didn't package that ant target for public consumption. It requires some macros and files that are not included in the distribution.

Should I build the `with.clover' target? No, for internal use.

Also, is the `test' target the most comprehensive and
all-inclusive one, or should I do things like
`regress' separately? The "ant test" target is the really the one one you want. The other test targets are used for components that intentionally must be built manually (like the jca/jmx tests and examples, since those require manual configuration for a given appserver), or are conveniences (like testex, which runs all the general examples, which are really meant to be stepped through manually according to the explanation in docs/installation.html).

released README file seems truncated...Oh, so it is. Sorry about that, we'll fix that up. There's not that much more to it though. The last sentence should say "To view the release and installation documentation, load
the distribution file docs/index.html into your web browser."
I took a quick look at the Freshports site, and you reference some Sleepycat URLs. We're changing over to Oracle based ones now, and this forum announcement lists some pertinent locations:
http://forums.oracle.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=273
For example, you could change http://www.sleepycat.com/products/je.shtml to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/berkeley-db/je/index.html
