As in Extinction Level Event. As in the Pages program that helps me run my successful small business is no more? Apple, I know people here say you won't respond to questions, but I know you are here because you police the boards. So please, please, to the one Apple employee that is reading this, be my hero and give me hope. I'll learn the new UI, I promise I will. But for the love of all that is good in this world, GIVE ME BACK THE FUNCTIONALITY ON MY MAC.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.
There are also extensions like Adblock Plus (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

hi!!! i m creating website ...i m using ajax.When the page loads..there are 2 combo box one for state and other for city.on select of state city will get populated and on select of city my age will dynamically generate textbox along with combo box.This dynamically generated textbox will contain all the pincode for a particular selected city. and the combo box will contain all the username .
My problem starts here...
1.Once i click on save the data is saved but the dynamically created textbox and combo box goes off leaving behind only the 2 static combo box.
2.While saving if the user selects the state as maharashtra and city and mumbai.he will get to see..list of pincodes available for mumbai.from that list if he selects the pincode ans 400706 and some "xyz" user from the username(combo).and clicks on save.data is saved.but next if he selects the same state and city then the previoulsy saved data ie for pincode 400706 the respective combo shld hav "xyz" as selected..

3.is there any way out for showing the values saved by the user along with the static combobox.so that i would be helpful for the users.
[/i]Onur - Why not just set a package variable or an item in session state to indicate that there was an error and have the page branch back to itself using a Branch to Page branch (one that does not redirect)? The page would then show the error message if the package variable or item were set.

On a form w Validation, how to redirect to a custom page
Hi. I have created a form in Dreamweaver CS5 that uses spry validation successfully. Once the form is submitted, the user is redirected to the home page. But I don't want that redirect.
My question is, how can I have the validated page redirect to a custom thank you page I designed? I don't know the exact code/syntax to write to make it do what I want and, even if I had the code, I wouldn't know exactly where it should be placed. Please help if you can. Here's the source code. )BTW, when I use Dreamweaver Behaviors to add a URL redirect, it ignores the required validation and simply allows you to click the submit button and redirect.) Many thanks!

</html>Thanks for replying. The URL you've bolded is actually the correct page I'd like the redirect to go to when the form is successfully submitted after validation. But for some reason, that URL request is being ignored and the redirect brings me back to the index page in the root directory. I don't see anywhere in the code that makes the request to do that. Unless that's a default behavior if I've gotten the redirect wrong?
I don't know if this is helpful, but there is also a .js file that Dreamweaver created and attached to the above HTML source file. The .js file appears to have all the spry code validation including code for features and widgets I'm not even using. I searched through the code several times trying to identify where there might be a redirect to the index page but didn't recognize anything that made sense to me. In my case i have a table n user enters data on multiple rows in table , n i have some input fields outside of table for those Inputs fields am settiing the data at the screen initilization(in Init() moethod by hard code).the problem is whenever the is clicking in th 2nd row of a table the Lead Selection is triggerig and the data in the Input Fields outside the table is not displayinig.
So by removing the lead Selection Action of a table i thought i can reslove this,

You did not explained what is your functionality or coding in leadselection. Is that action on leadselection is necessary for you?.
1)If you just want to remove the action then go to table properties and remove the action for leadselection.
2)If you still want to continue with your leadselect action, then what you can do is.. write the code in leadselection action to again set the input fields which are out from table. That is what you did in your init method.
Page Refreshing
3) What do you mean by page refreshing? is that refreshing your table only or both the table and input fields.
What I understood is you are allowing the user to enter values in table and soon after pressing a button the values should be saved and the data in input fields shld be deleted. For this if you only invalidate the node then the user entered data will be lost.
So what you do is after getting the input data from the user add it to a ArrayList and then invalidate the node which clears the data in input field. Finally bind the Arraylist to your node. see the following code. This is a concept make changes according to your requirement

I do not get the update pages box just a box saying 'You placed the editable region "breadcrumbs" inside a block tag. Users of this template will not be able to create new blocks in this region. Merging data in table rows into single page form to be printed?

I've been trying to make this work but after much hair pulling have had no luck with it.
I have a three page pdf. On the first page are two tabls of employee names. Each row in the tables includes a cell for the employee name and also one that holds a checkbox.
The second and third pages are time sheets appropriate for the department that each employee is in. These two pages are hidden.
So the idea is that if a particular employee is selected by the check mark, a time sheet with his name, dates and other info would be printed. One department is straightforward in that there is one sheet per employee.
The trouble is with the other department, in that for that department, each time sheet has four columns, at the top of each goes one employee's name. So the logic for this department is as follows:
1. count how many names are selected
2. if four or less are selected, enter first selected name into the first row of the first column, the second into the first rown of the second column, the third into the first row of the third colum etc.
3. if more than four are selected, enter the first four names into the first page, print the page, and enter the remaining into the second page and print, and so on until all selected names are processed.
1. works fine
2. works fine
3. works but not correctly.
So if I have say six names selected, for example, aaa, ,bbb, ccc, ddd, eee, and fff what end at the top of the columns on first page is:
eee, fff, ccc, ddd and on the second page its the same thing
The actual bit of formcalc script to do this is below, obviously it is incorrect or else missing something.
Any pointers and suggestions (in formcalc if possible) would be very welcome and appreciated.

Don't have the new laptop to try and install it, and since it will come with no CD/DVD drive, I was told by store there might be a way to download it for free from Adobe site.

How can I change pre. Ele. 3.0 registration with new CD
I lost my original premiere elements CD. I purchased a new CD thru ebay. When I try to install the software it says the registration is invalid and reinstall Pre. Ele. 3.0. How do I change the registration(product key no.) in my computer so that I can install Pre. Ele. 3.0 again to access my old photos and vedios. If there is way to go into regedit and change the key I will do that. But I do not know whre the product key for Pre. Ele. 3.0 was kept in the system. If somebody knows the way to solve the problem please help me, So that I do not have to buy the software thirdtime from Adobe or Panasonic. The software bundle came with my Panasonic vedio camere which I bought in Feb. 2009. I went to the seller and asked for resolution and he said I have to buy the software again.
This is something that you will need to contact Adobe Customer Support (Contact at top of the main forum page) to do. If you registered your copy of PrE, you should also be able to get the S/N through your Adobe I.D., though it sounds like you have your S/N, but it's just not working. Is that correct? Though it's too late now, you might want to see this THREAD from the Adobe Photoshop Forum on purchasing Adobe products from eBay.

Is there a way to invoke a webpage or even better, an oracle function (that links to forms or self-service) from a discoverer report row ?

You can create a link to a form function using fnd_run_function.get_run_function_url. You can create a calculation either in a view or using a calculated item in the EUL (you will have to map the get_run_function_url in the EUL to do this). You then set the content type property of the EUL item to FILE so that when the item is selected in the workbook it appears as a hyperlink.
Most forms in apps except parameters so that you can pass the employee id to the form and the form will open up with the employee record. For example, if you are using a seed HR person form you create a calculation,

In Pages 09 I could add a filename to the footer. If I saved a document with a new filename, this would then be automatically updated in the footer in the new document. I cannot find out how to update the Filename in pages 5, other than doing it manually.
Is this yet another example of the new iWork being dumbed down? Also missing is the ability to use keyboard shortcuts for formatting, and a lot of the Inspector features.
Do I have to go back to Pages 09 for all the missing features?Feature removed in Pages 5.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Trash/archive Pages 5 after Exporting any Pages 5 docs to Pages '09 files.
Then rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store.

Can not refresh page after save properly(When not saving master record)
I am using jdeveloper 11g R2 (11.1.2.3) JSF Facelet
In some use case I have Address as master table and Person as detail table
For some business reason I need to don't save same addresses
eg:
If +1 Test St+ is in database already and new user coming and adding this address with new person
I need to use the row in database not creating a new address
I do saving in doDML method of Address with some hashing algorithm and it is fine
My problem is that I can not refresh page after save properly
User coming to page think Adding a new address and a new person but in fact no new
address added because of business I describe above
Any ideas how I can implement this?

from your description it is not clear why the page doesn't refresh. It could be a problem in your implementation code - who knows. What if you perform the address check on a command button that actually submits the new address? If the check returns true (address exists) you would call row.refresh(forget new row); and re-query the view object so the address coming from the database is displayed. If you wanted to use the doDML then yuou need to be aware that doDML doesn't help removing the row the user created. It just ignores the database update but the entity is still around, which in my suggested solution wont be the case.
