Is Ref Cursor Supported in Froms 10g . If not is there any built-ins
Hi Experts,
I need to use ref cursor in my from 10g. My cursor query should be dynamically append the "where clause column name". Hence I used the dynamic query with ref cursor.
But my problem is , when I compile the form it gives error "this feature is not supported in clinet-side programs'
Is there any solution for this in forms?
Will "EXEC_SQL" package works.
Is there any alternative other than writing pl/sql refcursor....

There are only strong ref cursors allowed in forms (they are not dynamic). you can use exec_sql in forms, or you can use a record group to do dynamic sql. Third option would be to write a database procedure where you can make use ref cursors.

It's been a while since I used Forms 6i, but I remember hitting a similar problem. I don't think (and stress think!) that the PLSQL engine that comes with Forms 6i recognises ref_cursors.
The work-around I used was to move the functionality to the database and call it from forms.

After syncing my iphone I found that all of my notes were erased from the phone. Is there any way to retrieve the notes now that they have been erased? I had some very important notes that I have to be able to find. Anyone know how?
I think those contacts still in iphone database. So you can back up you iphone with itunes to get iphone database off your iphone. Then access the SQLite batabse.

When you log into you icloud account on your computer you are viewing data that you sync to icloud not the backups. You can't view the backups.

I had backed-up my iPhone and when I try to restore it it says that the back-up is corrupt or the iPhone is not compatible. I had a bunch of pictures that I need from that restore. Is there any way to get them back? I did the back-up to my Macbook
If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done.
For what reason did you choose to not copy the pictures off the device to a computer prior to attemping an update or whatever caused the need to restore? iPhones are not intended as sole storage of any media. -
My laptop hard drive crashed and I lost my ringtones, but they're still on my iPhone. If I sync my iPhone with the reimaged hard drive, I'll lose the ringtones from my iPhone. Is there any way to transfer ringtones from my iPhone back into iTunes?

I found and downloaded TouchCopy 12 for PC and was able to copy the ringtones from my iPhone to my Windows laptop very easily. It also enables you to transfer photos, memos, voice messages, etc. -
I have photos in a DVD. In order to visualize them in iPhoto, must I necessarily import them? Can't I see the pictures from the media without importing? If not, is there any application with this functionality? I need an app that allows me to navigate through the photos without selecting all of them. iPhoto is a Database. Before it can work with any data it must be imported to the database, so yes it is necessry to import them.

The asterisk next the model number on the download page linked above means there is preliminary support, which usually means the camera is supported by pretending it is an earlier model with similar sensor. I have an iPod whose contents I want to transfer to a newer Ipod. At some stage when I thought I was syncing correctly I wasn't so I lost the music files from my library. Is there any way to get them back from the older iPod and put them onto the newer one again?

Having installed thunderbird, and subsequently disinstalled it, Safari cannot find Mail.app anymore.
This is rather annoying, since I cannot send links or web contents anymore from winthin Safari.

I linked my outlook express with icloud, not realizing it would change my outlook express contacts. I deleted email addresses from my iphone, not wanting them there which in turn deleted them from my PC. Is there any way to get these addresses back? Seems I no longer have an outlook contacts list.
It's Outlook, not Outlook Express (different program) and if you have now deleted them from iCloud and do not have a backup they are gone.
