Is required to maintain again prices in conditon records in vk11

Hi gurus
In batch determination when we create a sales order system automatically picks the batch number at the line item.  My question is how the prices will be determined in the system
1) in the batch determination we will maintain prices in mch1 ithat conditon records b t system not picking up the prices. what could be the reason.
again we have to maintain the conditon records in vk11 is this my question?
answers will be awarded.
Thanks & Regards
  rack

Hi,
Actually had maintained in my condition records at VK11, so dont know the other case, but yes just go through this info.
Normaly we use batch determination at delivery level, because at the time of order material may or may not be created.for this material should be configured with batch and batch determination should be checked in sales views of material.
A2) Batch Determination during order Creation.
For this you need to maintain a Classes d for you Material. Depending on the Manufacturing process you can define the characteristics for your material.
Ex: Purity for Medicines,  Resistance for Electric Items.
You need to create a class (You might have to create a new class type) which incorporates the characteristic.
First Create the Characteristic Using Ct04 and then using Cl02 create the Class  including this characteristic.
Then in your material master Classification View Enter this class.
Then Create a Batch for the particular plant and Stor Loc using MSC1N.Give the value of the characteristics in this batch.
Then go to SPRO ->Logistics General ->Batch Management and maintain the Condition Technique (Procedure, Strategy Types and assignment to sales docs etc).
Then Create the Batch Determination Record using VCH1.

Siddharth.

  • Is there anyway to maintain multiple prices in KP26

    Hi Gurus,
Is there any way we can maintain multiple prices using one cost center, activity type and cost element? I know we can maintain multiple prices multiple activity types and cost centers. But I don't want to create any extra master data.
How many activity types can we maintain for a given cost center?
    Thanks
    Beri

    Hi Beri ,
I hope you understand the meaning of activity type and importance of activity prices for a cost center .
Activity Price is the rate for combination of a cost center and activity type . Cost Element has no role in it ??
You can maintain any number of cost center activity types in the system.. there is no restrictions ..
But , how many activity types are there in your business. We generally have Machin Hrs, Labour Hours, Energy  etc as activity types....
Kindly understand you business process and identify your activity type requirements and then plan activity prices for combination of cost center and activity type in KP26 .
Please revert back for any further clarifications
    Warm Regards

  • How to maintain different prices for same item in different organizations

    hi all,
We have noticed that the list price of an item at Item Validation Org level is getting defaulted when creating requisitions. We want to maintain different prices for the item for different organizations, so that the prices will be properly defaulted to requsitions depending on supplier and receiving org.
We found one way of doing this. Using contract purchase agreement and Advanced Pricing price lists. Can anyone please let us know if there is any other way of achieving this??
Also, I have a question regarding Advanced pricing Price Lists. I performed following steps.
1.Set the QP: Licensed for Product profile to Purchasing
2.Create and approve a contract purchase agreement in Oracle Purchasing
3.Define Price Lists and Price List Lines (optional)
4.Define sourcing rules and ASLs to automatically default source information onto requisition lines. Associate Contract to ASL.
    5. This will enable Oracle Advanced Pricing integration in the following Oracle Purchasing functionality:
    Requisition pricing
    Purchase order pricing
But when I create requisitions, the price from price list is not getting defaulted automatically. In requisitions form, if I go to source tab and select source as a Contract Purchase Agreement, then the price from price lists is getting defaulted. Is there any way where the source for the requisition can be automatically defaulted to Contract and the price can be picked from price lists??

Can oyu not make it an organization level item and specify the proce there instead of keeping it a master level item?
    Regards,
    Utsav.

  • What are the settings required to maintain consignment storgae location

Hi, what are the setting required to maintain new consignmnet storgae location for a customer.
    Thank you.

Here I am giving you over all idea of Consignment:
Consignment goods are goods which are stored at the customer location but which are owned by your company. The customer is not obliged to pay for these goods until they remove them from consignment stock. Otherwise, the customer can usually return consignment goods which are not required.
Consignment processing offers the participating partners several advantages. Customers store the consignment goods at their own warehouses. The customer can access the goods in the consignment warehouse at any time. They are only billed for the goods when they are removed from the warehouse and only for the actual quantity taken.
    consignment stock must be
Managed separately from the rest of your stock so that you know exactly what stock is stored at the customer location
    Managed separately for each customer
In inventory management, the consignment stock is managed as special stock in your inventory and is assigned to specific customers. This enables you to keep track of returnable packaging stock by customer.
If the consignment stocks are not managed by the sold-to party but by a central office, you can use the partner function for special stock partner.
    Prerequisites
    Special Stock Partner
The special stock partner has been defined for carrying out consignment stock processing by means of a third party rather than the customer. This means you can manage all special stock under one partner. It makes sense to use the special stock partner if your customer is using decentralized order processing but manages consignment stock centrally.
Inventory Management Using the Special Stock Partner
If you want to process your consignment goods using a special stock partner, proceed as follows:
Create a customer master record for the special stock partner (account groups 0001 and DEBI are defined for this purpose in the standard system).
Enter the special stock partner in the relevant customer master record on the partner screen using the partner function SB.
When you create an order for this customer, the system automatically proposes the partner function SB in the document header and the document items. Consignment goods which have been entered in a consignment fill-up are always posted to the stock of the special stock partner when goods issue is carried out. You can also enter the partner function SB manually in the document header or in the relevant items if a special stock partner is required and is not proposed from the customer master record. If a special stock partner does not exist in the document header, inventory management is carried out using the sold-to party.
    Process Flow
There are four main transactions for processing consignment stock in the R/3 System, all of which support separate management of stock:
    Creating a Consignment Fill-Up
    Creating Consignment Issue
    Creating a Consignment Pick-Up
    Displaying Consignment Returns
    Consignment fill-up
Consignment fill up is used to supplement the customer’s consignment stock.
Goods issue of the appropriate stock is posted from the unrestricted-use stock to consignment stock (special stock). The goods remain in the possession of the vendor.
When you ship consignment stock to the customer, you record the transaction by creating a consignment fill-up order (order type KB). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
If special stock does not yet exist in your inventory for the customer (or special stock partner), the system creates it when goods issue is posted
The relevant quantity is removed from regular inventory in your plant and is added to the special stock for the customer. The total valuated stock for the plant remains the same.
The transaction is not relevant for pricing since the consignment stock remains the property of your company.
    Consignment pick-up
Consignment issue enables the customer to take consignment goods from the special stock for their use or to sell.
Consignment issue involves removing the goods from the special stock and making it the property of the customer.
When the customer removes consignment stock to use or sell, you record the transaction in the system by creating a consignment issue order (order type KE). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is deducted from both the customer’s special stock and your own total valuated stock.
The transaction is relevant for pricing since the goods now become the property of the customer.
    Consignment issue
Any consignment goods stored at the customer’s warehouse that haven’t been used can be reposted to your company’s warehouse with a consignment pick-up.
If the customer returns consignment stock to you, you record the transaction in the system by creating a consignment pick-up order (order type KA). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is deducted from the customer’s special stock and is added back into your regular stock at the plant where the goods are returned. Your total valuated stock remains the same since the returned stock was regarded as part of your own inventory even while it was at the customer’s premises.
This transaction is not relevant for billing.
    Consignment return
Consignment returns are used for when your customer wants to return goods to the consignment stock.
If the customer wishes to claim on consignment goods which have already been issued, you can record this transaction by creating a consignment return order (order type KR). As a result, the system carries out the following actions:
When goods issue is posted, the relevant quantity is added to the customer’s special stock at the plant where the goods are returned
Since the ownership of the goods is passed from the customer back to your company, the transaction is relevant for billing. In this case, the customer receives a credit memo for the returned goods.
Depending on the settings in Customizing for Sales, you can create consignment returns with direct reference to a consignment issue. The consignment issue appears in the document flow for the consignment return. This function is not supported in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System.
When you create consignment returns in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System, the system automatically sets a billing block. To credit a return, you must first approve the request for a credit memo by removing the billing block in the return header. You can control the automatic setting of a billing block in Customizing for Sales.
The following table provides an overview of the order types used in the standard system for processing consignments:
    Transaction
    Sales order type
    Consignment fill-up
    KB
    Consignment issue
    KE
    Consignment pick-up
    KA
    Consignment return
    KR
    Pricing and Availability Check
Whether pricing is carried out for the individual transactions depends on the item category. The schedule line category controls the availability check and the transfer of requirements in each of the transactions. The schedule line category itself is determined by the item category and the MRP type of the material. The order types KE and KA check against the consignment stock for the customer involved and order type KB checks against your own plant stock. Requirement records for consignment stock are stored as individual requirements, independently of the setting in the material master

5 Jul Purchasing 10 Pc with 10 InR

    Hi,
If your Purchase price changes frequently and you want your MAP or STD price to match the purchase price then you will have to write a simple ABAP that will read the last price paid for each item and automatically post an MR21 to change the MAP or STD price to that price.
I have seen this used in other implementations and it is the only real way to get the MAP or STD price to relate to the last price paid.
I would question why you need to do this  though as the two "prices" are designed to be different and there is no accounting reason why they should always be hkept in line.

Wish you all a very happy new year 2010.
Here is the question which I have for you..very elementary.
I need to maintain different price for different customer for same material in the same sales area, for the same plant
Can anyone let me know how to do it !!
There are more than 10k customers for whom different price needs to be maintained.
P.S: I tried to search in the forum a lot about this, but was not able to find one correct answer.
    Thanks and Regards
    Rohit Dujari

    Hello,
You can take help of ABAPer to create a batch input session or you may use LSMW .  You can split these 10000 customers into some practicle numbers (group) depending on your policy.
You may also explore rules for creating condition records which frankly i am not awareyou get a select rule tab on bottom side of screen when you go to  vk11/vk12

    Hi Venu,
while creating the material you can enter the valuation type as below
and in the Material master  under accounting view 1, click on the organizationa level where youc an see your valuation type C1
In the same way you can maintain the prce for C2 and click on the organizational level under the Accounting 1 view
for the same material and same plant with different valuation types you can see different price
hope you find thd difference in price between two valuation types

  • Price in Info Record

    Hi
I would need to enter Gross Price in info record using three decimals. As it is now I'm only able to use two. Where can I change this?
    / Henrik

You can do it in T.code: OY04.
    Price with additional decimals
You can add additional decimals for a currency through a work around method.
Set up a currency let's say instead of USD call it US$ ( OY03 ) and define the number of decimal places ( OY04 ) to be 3 or more depending on your requirement.
Maintain the exchange rate for between US$ and USD to be 1 to 1 ( OBBS and OB08 ).
Create pricing condition records for those customers requiring 3 decimal places using Current US$ instead of USD.
That will give you 3 decimal places for your prices. However, one thing you will have to watch out for is rounding.
You can try transaction OB90, define rounding rule for currency. Here you define the rounding rule for your customer's currency.

As checked in P.R at item level it is found that in VALUATION tab there is a field named as " P.O PRICE " , here defalt t selected as " 1 A Gross Price "., Can u please help that from where this field is automatically selected as Gross Price in Purchase requisition.
    Thanx n Rgds,

This is the config done in the OMET transaction where you will see the Adopt PO price field is checked and now this funcitonal authorization code e.g. 01 assgined to user profile in SU3 transaction agianst the parameter EFB.
if this is active than it will not take price from info record but it will copy from PR.
to avoid this kind of issue -
Remove the EFB value in SU3 for particular user or if user needs to have the EFB profile for some other requirements than go to OMET and remove Adopt po price indicator from that profile which is assigned to user
