i message my friends a lot which costs me £15 a month for a text package
when looking on the app store a found a app called kik but it does not say if its free to use it

You did not say if your home internet service was AT&T DSL or not. If you have AT&T DSL service at 3Mbps or greater, then you have free access at over 1500 locations around the country, including McDonalds, & Barnes & Noble (that I have personally used) If you do not have AT&T Internet service (not to be confused with the wireless edge you have included with your iPhone plan), you may be charges an additional fee. However, there are many other free WiFi connections such as Panera, UPS, many Public Libraries, and many town 'Greens'. For free WiFi locations, you can go to: http://hotspotr.com/wifi There may be other Free WiFi search pages. Of course, be prudent, and know who you are connecting to. I would connect with only reputable known entities (hotel chains, airports, name stores, etc.)

Try contacting the app support of the particular app your using.
Most apps have an app support button on their app page within itunes.
If they wont reply within a reasonable amount of time and you feel like the particular app developer has cheated you, bring the issue forward to apple care.
Note that app developer have their own customer support.

This was so annoying!! It took me a good couple of hours but i figured it out, you need to do the following: Go to the folder where you saved the download (in my case i saved it in My Downloads) -> click on 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12' -> click on 'PSE 12' -> click on 'Setup' (select the icon which is a box with a shield) -> follow instructions and....voila! You will need to restart when it suggests so save anything else first, then when it reboots you should see the icon on your desktop....hpe this helps!

I strongly suggest that you buy your refurb ipad directly from the Apple online refurb store. We bought two last Summer - 2012. They have been great.
We haven't bought itouches refurbed, so not on top of their deals.
All refurbed ipads come with a brand new front and back cover, a brand new battery and a full one year warranty, including the 90 days of phone support. They come in a box and include the charger, just like a brand new ipad. It just says refurbished near the bottom of he box. If you buy from other retailers, even authorized resellers, their own rules apply and they will not have been refurbished by Apple. Also, in most cases, you only get the remainder of the warranty that the original owner did not use.
The great thing is you might consider increasing your gb space for still less than the cost of a new one. They are a bargain right now.
If you decide on what you want, check the certified refurb store and order it fast. Because they are on the site when available, they can come and go. Some are back the same day and some can take weeks. Shipping is fast and free in the USA.
After the intro of the ipad Air, the ipad 4 refurbed price came down another $30.00. I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
Whatever you decide to buy, enjoy.

I've bought the Apple Apps such as Pages, Keynotes, iMovie, etc..., but on the app store I have to pay $9.99 for Numbers? Didn't Apple say that all of their apps will be free on the App Store?

They're free for those who purchased and registered a new iOS device on or after September 1, 2013. Did you buy your iPhone after that date, or before? If was before, then you can't partake of the offer for free copies and will have to buy them.

Hi! I just bought myself a Macbook Pro and when i clicked on the App store button I came to this screen:
As you can see I downloaded three of the six apps. On this screen, it doesn't say anything about any prize, so I just assumed they were free apps. However, when I clicked on some of the apps to read about them, I saw in a small info section that the apps did in fact cost around $15... But later I found them in the FREE SECTION of app store. So what's the deal!?!? Is it free or not? If it's not free, I want my money back...

Open up the Activity Window - if there are bars with stop signs by them - that don't seem to be moving press the stops signs to stop what is going on.
If you can't open it or nothing is there - you may just have to power down.
I have had mail seem to be stuck so I can disconnect from the internet - so if I cant do a controlled shut down - I just power the system down by holding the power button down.

Used to download podcasts to music and now have to use the pos Podcast app.It doesn't download the podcasts half the time IOs 6 *****! Are you listening Apple? how do I at least make changes so my battery doesn't run out after 7 hrs.
