Is there a way that you can convert an edited movie to quicktime if you shot on a T2i in 60 FPS?

I realized that I shot a project in 60fps on a T2i without my knowledge and I converted it back to 24 fps in streamclip. Then when I went to reconnect the media, there were no clickable clips...I first ran into this issue when the movie converted to quicktime with qlitches in it. Any solutions?

Wait wait wait.  You edited the footage...you have a sequence that links to 60fps stuff.  Then you went to the finder, changed the frame rate of the source footage, and then are trying to relink the project media to that footage?  Dude...there's a frame mismatch.  It won't work right.  Not at all.  OF COURSE you'll have problems. This is not how you do things.
You need to convert the footage.  Import that NEW footage into FCP.  Edit the sequence again with that new footage, in a PROPER sequence setting (meaning one that is 23.98).
Reconnecting 24fps media that FCP has set as 59.94 (the clips data will insist the media is 60fps, as that is what it was when you imported it)...is very problematic.
You need to bring in the newly converted footage all over again, and re-edit.  You cannot edit, go "Oh, my frame rate is wrong," and just convert the clips rate and reconnect.  Things don't work that way.

  • I am using itunes version11.1.3.8 and an iphone 4s version 7.0.4. Is there any way that I can create my own ringtones as I had done in the past? Thank you.

I am using itunes version11.1.3.8 and an iphone 4s version 7.0.4. Is there any way that I can make my own ringtones? I have always done so in the past (Android). I much prefer to hear my songs when someone calls. Thank you.

I have tried to follow all the steps correctly. I presently have on itunes 2 entries:
    1. song.m4r with this highlighted on info screen but song location.m4a on summary screen. I have enetered "OK" several times.
    2. song no suffix on info screen but song location .m4r.mp3 on summary screen
After syncing I then go a contact and edit it. Trying to change ringtone does not give me an option for the ringtone that I created only those that were preloaded. Is there something that I need to do here? The ringtone (at least one of them) does appear in my song  list and I can play it. I don't know how to check for its properties on the iphone.
I do not have an itunes created entry on the sidebar for ringtones (I did create a playlist myself).

Is there any way that Fy15 can be converted to 2015 or just 15  through business rules ?

    Hi Celvin,
    Here is the Scenario....
1.I am calculating a year from the date. (Curyear=2015)
2.Based on this year my calculations runs using if statement like IF(CurYear==2015) where CurYear is an account member.
3.I am using substitution variables for restricting years for calculations(PresentYear).
4.I want to now compare this substitution variable with my CurYear. Like If(CurYear==&Presentyear). So either of years needs to be converted into some string or number to compare.

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

  • My laptop recently crashed and is unsalvagable with my itunes library on it.  My ipod touch has all of my music still on it.  Is there a way that I can put the songs on my ipod onto itunes on my new computer??

My laptop recently crashed and is unsalvageable with my itunes library on it.  My ipod still has all of my music still on it.
Is there a way that I can put the songs on my ipod onto itunes on my new computer without loosing them or having to buy them all over again?

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread:http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

  • Is there any way that I can have songs in an iTunes Playlist without having the songs play in my regular music list.  For instance: can I have a Playlist of Christmas songs without having them play in the routine shuffle of my music library?  Thanks -Rog

Select the songs, press CTRL+I to Get Info, on the Options tab set Skip when shuffling to Yes.
If you want to the hide the songs from your main music view you could consider changing the media kind to audiobooks or podcasts if you don't mind the side effect of them showing up there instead.

    No. There is not.
    You will have to restore.
Everything should be on your computer.
Is there some reason that everything is not on your comptuer?

  • I accidentally deleted my entire iTunes library after updating my iTunes.  Is there any way that I can get these songs back?

After clicking on an update for iTunes, the only change I noticed was the addition of about 9000 sound bytes, which was ridiculous and wasteful.  I started to delete all the sound bytes, but that was going to be a huge chore.  Instead, I moved the songs I had in my library to a playlist called "backup library."  I then chose to "select all" under edit to highlight the rest of the 9000 soundbytes and delete these in one click.  At first, this seemed to work.  I still had the saved songs in my playlist, and the 9000 sound bytes went to the recycle bin.  I then emptied the recycle bin to get rid of the sound bytes.  When I checked iTunes again, there were no songs anywhere in the library or playlists.  Is there any thing you can do to help restore all of these songs (and none of the sound bytes) to my IPOD Classic?  Is my account saved with a back-up of everything I had saved in my iTunes library and playlists?
I have about 1500 songs in my IPOD Classic that are not affected by this error.  Is there a way that I can transfer all of these songs back into my iTunes library?
I would appreciate any help with this problem.

    Hello bigali,
Your options are kinda limited. I would use this first:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and ...
Then check here for the non-purchased items:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2452022
You want to rebuild the library first, then sync the ipod.

  • I was forced to switch from my original computer to a new one and majority of my iTunes were switched over but my audiobooks did not. Is there any way that I can retrieve them again?

I was forced to switch from my original computer to a new one and majority of my iTunes were switched over but my audiobooks did not. Is there any way that I can retrieve them again. If I go to attempt to rebuy it, then it says thhat I technically already bought it but it won't download.

Audiobooks are not available for redownloading, so you need to transfer them from your old computer, or get them from your backup. How did you copy your iTunes contact from your old computer to our new one?
    Regards.

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time.  If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else,  authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account.  In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.
    iOS: How to back up
Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc.  For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases.  For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Once the backup has been made and all other synced content such as music, videos, and photos are back in your iTunes library, restore your iPod from that backup you made earlier.  Here is more on backing up and restoring your iPod.

If you do happen to lose any purchased content, you can always redownload it from the iTunes Store again at no cost via iCloud.  See this article for information.

It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other.

    Update your iOS.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

You should have copied everything from the old computer to the new one.
Type "move itunes library" into the google search bar
