I'm looking for a way to automate the tax code assignation on purchases, I'm aware of the condition techniques for POs, but I would like to understand if it can be also applied to the other document in purchases so we can have a totally automate process on tax code assignation.
Documents like: Contracts, Info records, RFQ, Scheduling agreements, Outline Agremments

What you need to do is to create condition tables & access sequences for condition type NAVS for purchasing documents like RFQ, Contract & Scheduling agreement. You can use the document types and document category to differentiate these. Obviously this is required only if your tax determination scenario is different between different document type, if the tax code to be determined is not linked to purchasing document type, then you only one access sequence which can have parameteris like PORG, vendor if required etc. which are common to all document types.
Once this configuration is done, then you need to maintain condition records using transaction MEK1 and maintain the tax codes as per the combination of parameters.
In case of Info-record, it is different as it is a master data and this automatic tax determination will not work there.

Is there a way to automate the CFX tags installation?

I'm currently in the process of re-installing a web farm of ColdFusion 8 servers (W2K8, IIS 7.5).
I have to install a number of CFX tags (C++) on each server to get the code running.
Is there a way to automate the installation of the CFX tags (regedit imports, VBS, PowerShell...)?
I found some link indicating that keys should be imported in the registry at: HKLM\Software\Allaire, but Allaire does not even exist in this branch (I believe that the instructions were true of older versions of CF).
I installed one of the tags manually and noticed that the file neo-runtime.xml was updated with:

This is great! but I'm not there yet. I figured how to assign little midi triggered melodies to a touch track. I used to do stuff like this on an old Buchla years ago. How do I get the automation on the midi track to control the filter on an audio track? I created regions with the automation I want on a midi track, then I assigned those regions to keys with touch tracks. How do I get that to control the filter on the audio track?

I saw our group friens giving some T-codes for spro functions (eg: SNRO, M/06), bbut how to know the transaction from path. i.e. If I go to condition types screen, there I could not see any transaction. is there any way to know the T-code from the screen?

Listed here are the various ways you can find the list of transaction codes and their usage:
Use transaction SE11 - ABAP Dictionary:
Fill in the Database table name and click the Display button.
- TSTC table will contain all the Tcodes and
- TSTCT table will contain all the Tcodes with Texts.
Once you entered the screen, click in Top Menu - Utilities - Table contents - Display
If you want to display all the transaction code (total - 57,048) you have to change the Fields: Maximum number of hits to 99999 (default 500).

Simply goto transaction SM01, although this tcode is to Lock/Unlock any transaction code, you can also view all the tcode available in the R/3 system from here.

Goto transaction SE93
There are two ways where you can find the list of transaction codes in SE93.
Method 1:
You must be familiar with the starting characters strings for each of the R/3 application modules.
Assuming you know that most Materials Management transaction codes start with MM.
In the Fields: Transaction code, type in MM* and press the function key F4
The list of transaction code starting with MM will be displayed.
Method 2:
On the Top Menu, click Utilities - Find - Execute and the first 500 transaction will be display.
If want to display all the tcodes, make sure you remembered to change the Fields: Maximum no. of hits right at the bottom of the screen.
I know a particular T Code and can enter and work on it. How do I know what is the menu path for that T Code?
Enter Search_SAP_Menu in the command box and when the pop box appears enter, the Tcode and it will give the nodes and menu path.
This is helpful only in case of SAP Menu not in case of SPRO - ie IMG.....

iTunes on the iPad is a store only and iTunes on a Mac is the media player as well as a storgae library for all of your purchased content.
The preinstalled apps cannot be deleted, redownloaded or updated either. Updates for the preinstalled apps come with the iOS updates.

Default the Tax Code on a Shipment Cost Document

How do I set the tax code to default in the Shipment Cost Document under the Tax tab? We're seeing different behavior depending on whether we're shipping from US to Canada or the other way around. It must be configurable but I can't find it. Please help as I've read many existing posts and can't find a resolution.
Here's what's happening:
B/L 122252 was shipped in Company 2000 from CA to US. When I settle the cost document for these types of shipments, I have to delete the Tax Jurisdiction (US0000000) before I can complete it. The Tax Code is also blank, when it should be I0 (Tax Exempt).
2. B/L 122325 is in Company 1000, and is the reverse of the one above (US to Canada shipment). It has a Canadian Tax Jurisdiction with the Tax Code of I0, and it works fine. The Jurisdiction does not have to be deleted.
It seems that the issue with the Company 2000 shipments would be the Tax Code of I0 not being populated, when the shipment cost document is created.

I was able to add a record to the Condtions' table that solved half my problem. The Tax Exempt code (I0) is now being added to the Canadian record like it is for the US record. However, the Tax Jurisdiction field is still being populated and we want it to be blank. Where does this field come from? It's not in the condition record, and it's something different for the US ship cost doc than the Canadian record, so something's telling it what to put there.

Is there a way to retain the track changes from a Microsoft Word document when working on a IPAD word processing App?

I am going on a work trip and want to be able to collaborate with my colleagues, almost all of whom will be using Microsoft Word on Microsoft Windows laptops and I want to draft and collaborate on documents. The approach we always take to such collaboration is to use the track changes feature in Microsoft Word that shows changes and who made the changes.As best I could tell apples Pages software ignores the notations added by the track changes features and accepts all changes to the document making it difficult to see what changes were made and by whom.
I would appreciate any suggestions to address this challenge.

I loved this feature in the older versions of iMovie for editing my underwater scenes to get ride of the greenish tint. Now I only see a color temperature slider adjustment in the new iMovie, but that doesn't give me enough control. Is there a way to get each color channel edit back?

iMovie version 10 doesn't have the individual RGB gain controls that version 9 does.
You'll find that version 9 was left behind in your Applications folder when you upgraded to 10.
