Is there a way to have tv shows that have been downloaded onto the Ipad to delete them off the Ipad but still have them in icloud and on the computer?

I have downloaded tv shows onto my Ipad and I now want to move them off my Ipad. Is there a way to do that or not, once you transfer everything to a computer?

They are not stored in iCloud, not really.
If the are in the iTunes library on the computer, simply context the device to the computer and manage the content on the device via iTunes.

TV show that has been downloaded but Apple TV streams it anyway.

When I go to watch a TV show that has been downloaded to my iTunes library, Apple TV streams it, instead of playing off my iTunes downloaded file. Is this how it works? I expect that if I download a purchase, that Apple TV would instantly play the local file, and not bother with streaming. Is this something I can correct with a preference config or some digital voodoo?

Speednet always clocks me at 20-23Mbps, just checked it. ALL my internet functions seem to work well. Apple TV has no problems streaming, Netflix, Hulu, or iTunes radio. I can play any of my iTunes music library with the Apple TV remote. I have also watched two streaming episodes from Apple TV. Additonally, some DVD's that I had ripped to iTunes will play from my iTunes library on Apple TV. My only problem seems to be purchased TV. They show up in iTunes, they show up on Apple TV, both in the TV shows>Purchased pathway, and in the Computers>my iTunes library>TV shows pathway. They just don't seem to play when try the computer>iTunes route.

I have been researching and trying different apps all night and I've ended up spending four dollars that I ended up wasting. I'm sure there's a very easy answer. I have an iPad, it is the newest iOS software, my question is, is there anyway to get the music that I've downloaded on say Amazon or that I've made via my MusicStudio app to show up in my music on my iPad without having to then download it to my computer to get on iTunes to transfer from my computer to my iPad again? I've got the music on my iPad, but both of the apps that I use to make a video with the music just use the native music app to search for the music on the iPad and shows the some 69 songs that I've either downloaded via iTunes or transferred from my laptop to my iPad. it won't show any of the other stuff that is on there. Is there any app that I could get that will help me to add music to my native music app so we'll show up or is there anything I can do other then transferring it from iTunes on my laptop back to my iPad?

You will need to go via your computer's iTunes - to get music into the Music app you either need to download it directly on the iPad from the iTunes store app, or sync it from your computer's iTunes

Is there a way to format text data that has been persisted?

I am persisting five lines of numeric data in my app. Each persisted line of data saves and returns perfectly after a ro-boot, except for the text size and color.
To be clear : If I save 199.55, that is what appears after a device re-boot. The 'formatting' I am having issues with it the font size and color.
For some reason, the font sizes have changed and some of the font colors are incorrect.
Is there a way to correct this or prevent it from happening?

I was using an old iPhone just for listening to music in my car. That was stolen when my car was broken into. Even though it is no longer used as a phone, there is still contact info on there that I do not want the thief to get a hold of. Is there any way to disable that device if i know the serial number>

Thanks for your reply. That is what I feared. I never signed up for iCloud service because I was going to get a different phone around the time iCloud came about... oh well, it is what it is. At least I removed all Contact info on it at the time because I wanted to maximaze the space I needed for music!

Hello all!
Before iOS 8, we had two separate photo albums - Photo Stream (for iCloud) and Camera Roll (for photos on your iPhone).
When you took a photo, the photo went into both albums. This was handy, as when i found my memory running low, I could delete photos from my Camera Roll, yet they will still be on my Photo Stream.
However, with the iOS 8 update, apparently they thought this was too confusing for everyone and therefore have merged it all into the collections/moments photo viewer.
So, my question is, is there a way that I can delete photos from my phone without deleting them from my iCloud, seeing as they are merged into one?

The easiest way I find to remove a few songs for the nano is to go into Ipod preferences and select "only sync checked songs" and the uncheck songs you don't want. I play Paradise Cove, occasionally I purchase coins and/or gems. There have been several times when I was either charged the wrong amount or charged for a non purchase. I love playing this game but cannot trust that I can purchase what I want without getting ripped off. One case in point was a purchase of $4.99x2, this was for a certain amount of coins and a pacage of $4.99 for gems, which I did recieve however I was charged $9.99x2 for both and there is no plce to take the concern directly. I just recieved a charge of $4.99 for coins, I am not sure of the date of purchace, if it is somewhere in the past week I did not purchase it,my husband has been sick for weeks and I have been tending to him. If there is a purchase they need to charge you within a few days and give you a day of purchase date. What do i do and how can I get to the people directly about the game purchases?

In order to continue to play and sync the music you purchased with your old account, you'll need to authorize your new computer/iTunes library to do so. You can do this by choosing Store -> Authorize This Computer and then entering in your old account credentials.
That's all you should need to. Then just create your own account and start purchasing and using it the same you have with the old one.

While it is not possible to directly print your iTunes account purchase history within the iTunes Store, you can take a screnshot of your purchase history on your computer, and then print that screenshot.
