Is there a way to increase font size of SQL Server Object Explorer

I am visually impaired and even with my glasses I have to get a few inches from the screen to view items in the object explorer; Specifically the table names in Table Explorer and the Stored Procedures use a font I cannot read.
I use magnifyer but Visual Studio has a Tool Windows option for Font Size that seems to be missing in SQL Server I am using 2008 R2, but I have not seen an option for Tool Windows in any version of SQL Server.
Is there a way, or are there plans for the next version to have this?
I need to know before I invest significant time to build a package, but if there built in funcationality it would save me a lot of time.
I am surprised SQL Server is the only MS product I have seen that is not accessible to persons with disabilities (The Object Explorer is critical to SQL Server navigation)

I'm not aware of this being a enhancement in SQL Server 2012.
To help you in the meantime, did you realise that you can filter the Stored Procedures and Tables that appear in Object Explorer?  if you right click on these nodes in Object Explorer and select Filter | Filter Settings, you can create a filter to limit
the list of Stored Procedures and Tables that appear in their respective lists.
Example 1
If you were looking for a stored procedure called usp_HardToFind, you would enter the following:
Property = Name
Operator = Contains
Value = Hard (or dome other value you're looking for)
This would list all stored procedures with a name containing Hard
Example 2
If you were looking for a tabled called ComplexTableName, you would enter the following:
Property = Name
Operator = Contains
Value = Complex (or dome other value you're looking for)
This would list all tables with a name containing Complex
I know it's not the same as being able to change font sizes however it may still assist you

    Is there a way to increase the size of the font in the tool windows in InDesign? I am having trouble seeing the info (the font is too small)

    Not possible. You'll need to go to your operating system and choose a screen resolution that displays the screen with larger pixels.
    Or get a new prescription for your glasses (seriously!)

    Which toolbars? Finder window ones have a Use small size option that you can turn off. Otherwise, reduce the Display resolution.

  • Any way to increase font size in RoboHelp UI?

    Hi. Is there any way to increase the font size of the text in the RoboHelp (11) UI itself, that is, for example, the items that appear in the Project manager, Topic List, Single Source Layouts, and other panels?
    I have my monitor set to optimal resolution, but this seems to cause this text to be too small for comfort. Is there a way to increase the font size from within RH? If not, is there a Windows-level change I can make?
    Thanks!

    Thanks, Peter.  Yes, that's what it appears to be.  So, in messing about with the screen resolution and text size settings on my new Windows 7 machine, I somehow irritated RoboHelp.  This is what it looks like:
    I got responses from Adobe person assigned to my bug request.  He said all was OK on their side.  He said to try to change the Custom DPI text size for my machine, but that did not change the RH display, only the toolbar and pod headings.  He suggested I uninstall then reinstall RH 10.
    I also asked what the difference was between the RH source files that present the toolbar and that retrieve the project files as listed (includes the Single Source Layout pod entries also, though).  We'll see.
    Have a feeling I'll have to reinstall.
    Thanks for all your help.

  • Is there a way to increase the size of the control panel?

    I have a Surface Pro 2 and, on illustrator and Photoshop, the control panel is tiny. Is there a setting to increase the size of the control panel?

    I found the solution today on Microsoft's website.  It worked for Illustrator but not for Photoshop.   If Acrobat would stop crashing every time I open a file - or if someone on the forum could give me a solution to why it does - I could furnish the URL.

  • HT2523 Is there a way to increase the size of textedit text on the screen without increasing the font size? (as can be done in WORD for MAC)

    In Microsoft Office for Mac WORD I can make text appear larger on the monitor screen without increasing the font size for printing purposes.  I have not been able to figure out if/how this can be done in TextEdit.  In TextEdit, if I set the font size to between 10 and 12, the text appears very small on the screen.  But if I increase the font size, the font size will be way too large when I print such a document.

    Thank you very much for your prompt reply and suggestion.
    Actually after I posted my question, I saw link to Text Edit viewable font, which pointed out the small up and down arrows in the lower right corner of the Text Edit screen.
    However, it is also good to keep in mind the Universal Access options.

  • Is there a way to change font size in incoming email messages?

    In the Mail preferences I see options for changing fonts and sizes for composing email, but is there a way to control incoming font sizes?
    Some emails for some reason show up in very tiny fonts when they come into my Mail program
    thanks
    nick

    Hello Nick,
    Thank you for the question.  You can update the font settings in the Preferences for Mail.  By going to Mail>Preferences>Fonts & Colors, you can update the Message list font and the Message font for easier viewing.  The Messages font will only change to the font you select if the sender does not have specific formatting for the text in their email:
    Option
    Description
    Message list font
    The font and font size for viewing the list of messages (in classic layout only). Click Select to use a different font.
    Message font
    The font and font size for writing and viewing messages. Click Select to use a different font.
    If the sender used a specific font for a message, that font is used when viewing the message.

  • Is there any way to increase the size of printing on each page? With most of the printing it is really tiny. printing

    I have been using I.E. with myyahoo.com as my homepage and I started having a page freeze for 30 seconds (approx.) 5 or 6 times a session. this is powered thru ATT.net. I thought that Firefox may correct this problem. When I installed Firefox I decided to use myyahoo.com as my home page. Yahoo/IE has a magnifying glass icon in the lower right corner that allows me to increase the print size. When I am on Foxfire the basis text size is 1/16th of an inch! How can I increase this size?????????????
    #2 is it possible to have a different home page for Firefox and leave myyahoo.com on IE ???????????

    1. The Firefox [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom Page Zoom] feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.
    Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />

    Or the NoSquint extension: <br />

  • Is there a way to increase the size of the network cache to 2048?

    I watch a lot of videos so my network cache maxes out quickly at 1048. I do delete the catch but want to be able to increase the size so that I can wait longer before deleting it. Also, I saw no way to submit this to mozilla as a feature that I would like them to add to an upcoming newer release of firefox.

    Hi oraclewizard77,
    It is theoretically possible for you to file a bug for such an enhancement but I think you would need to first of all
    # Carefully check one was not already files.
    # Be able to demonstrate this is in fact a real problem needing addressing.
    #* Possibly try to build a test case and Steps To Reproduce demonstrating the problems and improvements when comparing 1/2 3/4 & 1GB.
    # It would help to get a discussion going and developers interested before attempting to file a bug.
    Are you able to demonstrate increasing the network cache limit improves things, or conversely that decreasing it makes it worse ? <br />If so give us some idea of how and maybe someone (HelpDesk ? or one of us) will assist you in filing a bug.
    The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like '''cor-el'' & me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
    If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox ''Help'' menu and select ''Submit Feedback...'' or use [https://input.mozilla.org/feedback this link]. (You'll need to be on the latest version of Firefox to submit feedback). Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

  • Using OS 7.02, is there a way to increase the size of the folders?

    Before OS 7.02, I could place a number of application icons in a folder.  After the "upgrade" I now am required to look through as many as three subfolders to find the icon.  Can I either increase the size of the 1st folder displayed or decrease the size of the icon so I can fit more of them in the first folder?

    I found the solution today on Microsoft's website.  It worked for Illustrator but not for Photoshop.   If Acrobat would stop crashing every time I open a file - or if someone on the forum could give me a solution to why it does - I could furnish the URL.

  • Is there any way to increase the size of the window buttons (close, minimize, maximize)?

    I want to increase the size of the window buttons (close, minimize & maximize) because you have to navigate so precisely using the trackpad to use them...it'd be easier if the buttons were a little bigger. Thanks.

    Not possible at the present time.  You may make your wishes known to Apple here:
