Is there an alternative to Awsome Screenshot on the latest Firefox?

I miss the ease of use and the ability to crop just the part of the screen that I want. Is there another program that will do this?

PicPick use to be my favorite screen capture program, however since FF upgrade to ver 6. PicPicks Scrolling Screen Capture feature no longer works.
I haven't gotten any response form PicPick nor FF as to what the problem is or if there is a fix.
If anyone knows of a fix...let us know so that we can continue using PicPick.
PS PicPicks Scrolling Screen Capture feature still works just fine in IE...go figure.

I am trying to renew my PC Tools Spyware and Antivirus license but when I go to their site and enter all the relevant information I cannot get past the final "Pay Now" button. The button changes colour to show it has recognised my 'click' but does not take me any further. I have conferred with their Customer Service and they have tried very hard to give alternative routes to this final transaction stage but to no avail. The last suggestion was that there may be a setting I have to change within Firefox. Anybody help please?

I think there is a very annoying bug after the latest update of firefox, can I talk to someone, or chat with someone so I can get rid of it

Since the latest auto update of my firefox browser I am experiencing strange issues. Every evening when I stop working, I close my browser (closing all the tabs that I am working on and in the morning, I restore the session) . For many years everything worked just fine ... untill after the last auto update of the firefox browser .. all of a sudden a got 302 errors ( a blank page with the description 302 and I believe "page moved here" or something to that extend ... i try to click the link and get nowhere.
I first noticed it on a few wordpress pages (backend ) that I was working on and which were restored from the previous day ...
thinking it was a server error, since we have several vps and dedicated servers .. i contacted the company who hosts our servers ..
they looked into it and apparently .. there were no issues on the server side and neither on that particular computer ... but our server hosts told us .. that it is probably browser related and seemed to have something to with a bug with the cache of the browser
we didn't know what to do .. it was very annoying .. but at that point it only happened once on a hew pages .. so we decided to see what happened the next time
Next time we did not restore a session with wordpress pages .. but with the google search engine open and on a few other tabs logged into social media .... and as was saidn by our server hosts it was indeed not related to work that we did on pages on our servers ... since that time even the google search engine homepage ... showed us ... moved here
Can you pease look into it and fix this .. we are doing the same thing as many years on the same computer also a few years .. so it is not anything we do wrong either .. it is most definitely browser related
so can you please fix it asap .. since when we work on wordpress .. that is not the only thing that goes wrong .. we also have difficulty uploading updates ... when updating sometimes after the update of any particular change on a wordpress page is done ... we are also redirected to a blank page .. so the updated page does not want to load ... in that case we have use our back button ...
which sends us back to the right page ... but with the old data on it ... then we have to refresh that page .. and only then we see the page updated ... so it seems that there is an issue in both direction with the caching of the browser after the last update

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert

That option isn't available until you upgrade to iOS 5 or later:

Is there any way to see more than the latest three back ups when restoring from iCloud?

I have had my phone set as icloud back up only for a couple months now and it had been backing up fine. But my wifi shut down on the phone and I couldn't back it up via iCloud. (I thought) I backed it up through my computer before taking the phone to the Genius Bar but it didn't work for some reason. And now I lost all my photos that were taken between the time that I had the wifi and when I got the phone replaced. However, I backed up the new phone via iCloud afterwards, with the phone restored to the time before i switched to iCloud backup. And I'm not a 100% sure but I'm sure it's backed up more than 3 times since I got the phone replaced. Is there any way to pick from the past iCloud backups, further back than the latest three?

Is there a way to take screenshots on the new iPod touch?

I just got a new iPod touch 5G and would like to be able to take screenshots on it. Can't seem to find a way in the documentation.

I installed the update for the latest firefox, it worked find until I restarted my computer now it is just a blank white window. Is there any way to uninstall that update? with out losing my favorites?

It worked fine even after it restarted. I don't want to uninstall it because i will lose my favorites.

I take a lot of pix for eBay, sometimes 3-400 at a time. When I delete photos it's usually 1,000 at a time, and I assure you I'm not exaggerating. Up until now I was able to take the END pic and swipe the whole row and check 7 pix quickly. With the new ios7 I am unable to do it anymore (yet ANOTHER reason I don't want this 'improved' OS).
Does ANYONE know of a way to choose many pix at once to move or delete or whatever? Remember the old windows system where you could choose one pic, click it then hit SHIFT and click a lower one and it would highlight them all, in between, for a quick delete.
How can I highlight pix other than one at a time? There MUST be a way! And since I'm lacking a **** crystal ball I'm stuck. Help? And THANKS guys, really!

Is there a way to go back to the latest pre-3.0 AppleTV-software?

I encounter lots of problems using ATV 3.0 and the newer 3.0.1. No 'Floating Photos'-screensaver and a lot of my .m4v movies cannot be played anymore. Even going back to factory-settings (software version 2.1) on my AppleTV and upgrading to 3.0.1, followed by a new sync of all of my music and movies shows this problem.
The screensaver produces a black screen only and when trying to start playing the movies that physically reside on the ATV I keep getting an error 'The selected video could not be played. The format was not recognized.'.
I need the Floating Photos screensaver, randomly showing my private photo's, during the weekend, on my son's 7th birthday. I'd like to go back to the last pre-3.0 version of the software. Can this be done or do I have to go back to 2.1 (factory settings) an run the screensaver from there?
Please help!

this has been answered many times on here, but anyway....
you have 2 options
1) the version that shipped with your unit (via a factory restore)
2) the current "live" version (via software update).
you cannot roll-back to any other versions.

There is no 'Save as' option in the latest version of Pages '09... I can't save an edited document under a different name or in a different location. Solution?

Have a personal letterhead. Wrote a letter beneath it. Can't save edited letterhead as new letter--'Save As' just isn't an option under File menu. What happened to 'Save As'?

You can achieve the same result with menu File>Duplicate though it's a slightly different process - this page explains in detail:

If you are regularly using a page with just a letterhead to add the text of a letter to you would do better to Save as Template and to the Templates folder. It will then be available from the Templates window you get when Pages opens, from where it will open as an 'Untitled' file which you can save in the normal way without risking messing up the template. Or you can just save it anywhere as a Template and then double-clicking it will have the same effect.

I use Winamp and now the latest Firefox, is there any reason why I should not uninstal Internet explorer and windows media player, please advise.

Is there a way to get idvd on a new macbook? or is there an alternative that works?

I note that my new macbook pro (purchased with a dvd burner specifically) no longer comes with iDVD preloaded. Is there a way to get this, or is there an alternative that works. have checked the app store only to see a number of 'alternatives' that are crucified by the feedback, largely not compatible with mountain lion, etc. This was really dissapointing, to get a new apple computer, still with imovie (great), but without the ability to create a dvd to share movies with friends and family...any ideas?

There is no good replacement app for iDVD when it comes to ease of use, flexibilithy and professional looking results.
You'll have to purchase an iLife disc and should be aware that the iLife 11 disc only provides iDVD 5-7 themes. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You will find the Oil Painting Filter in Photoshop CC. It has been taken out of Photoshop CC 2014.
So if you have Lightroom Creative Cloud, you should have both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC 2014.
I have been looking for it for 4 days now, and I just found it. I am so happy.
