Is this a bug? Stroke does not display for rectangles?
Working in a room full of new iMacs with CS6, I used the rectangle tool to draw shapes on screen and the shapes would not completely display. It was almsost like other shapes were covering parts of the shapes so for example only 2 of 4 lines on a rectangle would show, sometimes only 3 lines would show, etc. I tried changing the stroke from size 1 to 2 and sometimes that helped, sometimes closing the file and opening a new one helped, and other times nothing helped, even making the stroke a size 4 or 5. This problem occurred on multiple iMacs.
Is there a setting or preference that may be causing this? Is this a known problem?

Yeah, it's not a bug, but I do consider it a major weakness in Fireworks screen rendering behavior. Unlike AI, Fireworks is constantly in "Pixel Preview" mode, and it's locked into Nearest Neighbor zoom rendering—possibly the crudest of rendering algorithms. This might have been fine in the early days of web design, or even several years ago, but if you're using the app to design graphics for a high-resolution device (e.g. a retina display) on a standard resolution monitor, and you'd like to view the graphic at near the actual size (e.g. 60%), the results look awful.
I think this could be fixed by offering an additional View option (e.g. Improved Rendering) that would use a different rendering algorithm, such as Bicubic or even a mixture of Bicubic Smoother/Bicubic Sharper.
I created a post about this issue quite a few months back; however, I may not have submitted a feature request, because I was still using Fireworks 8 at the time and wasn't sure if CS5 had addressed the problem:

There is at least one workaround: If you define an object as a Symbol and then resize the instance on the canvas, it will be rendered using the algorithm specified in FW's Preferences (under General > Interpolation). I think this works anyway; it's been a while since I tried it.

Profile Manager Settings for Group does not display for individual members of the group

Can anyone confirm whether I am going mad or not, I and new to Mac Server and have set up Profile Manager on OSX Mavericks from scratch and have been using it successfully to deploy enterprise iPads. I have just gone to edit the profile as we wish to increase the timeout time to locking and have been greeted with something strange.
We have all users in a Group which has settings applied for timeout, pass code change etc. however if I go to an individual account who is part of that group then it isn't showing any settings for that user and it would appear I need to set them again. Similarly if I go to a device belonging to a member of the group then its not showing any settings for that device.
I would have assumed that if you set restrictions for a group then when you view the restrictions for a member of the group then it would be the same however it appears that you can have a separate payload for a group. Is this the case?
I am grateful for any advice people can give me.

That was never the way it worked in older versions of 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 Server.
The restrictions for a Group were shown for a Group. The restrictions for a User (alone) were shown for that User.
And the advantage is that if you see something wrong for a single user, you might be tempted to fix it there, in that user, and when you had changed six of them, you might remember that you meant that to be a group setting after all.
And the software to implement them separately is simpler, but YOU have to test it to find out the end results of compositing Group and User settings. -

I faced with strange issue with Lync Contact card on mobile devices.
We have installed Lync Server 2013 (with last CU (December 2014)) and Exchange server 2010 SP3 (Rollup 4)
All lync enabled users have filled AD attribute telephoneNumber - 4-digit internal work phone.
this work phone has shown correctly in Lync Contact card on Lync 2013 desktop client, but it does not display for some users on Lync Mobile clients (Lync for Android, Windows Phone and iOS)
May be someone have an idea why this is happening and what is going wrong for me?

It can be the issue caused by the privacy relationship.
Please check if others set the relationship for these issued users to be workgroup. If not, change it. For these issued Lync users, on their desktop client, also make sure the relationship set to be workgroup.

Node id does not exist for the current application server id on forms
Hi,
We have a Two node RAC setup on which Oracle e-business suite R12.0.6 is setup
We have CP and DB on two RAC nodes and Forms and Web on two separate server(non-RAC)
while opening oracle forms we are getting" Node id does not exist for the current application server id "
on checking Concurrent manager logfile we founf no error, we matched Application Server id from DBC file of all the 4 nodes with application table
Fnd_nodes... which matches ( there is no mismatch of application server id) .
We have also tried commenting the application server id in dbc file and executed adgendbc.sh to regenarate dbc file but we are facing the same issue.
Also tried to clear setup with fnd_conc_clone.clean setup and again executing autoconfig on db and application tier but no result yet.
Can some one guide as to which file has this message "Node id does not exist for the current application server id "
and what could be the reason for this.
Help is appreciated.

i mean from which file does the above message comes.Please clean FND_NODES table as per (How to Clean Nonexistent Nodes or IP Addresses From FND_NODES [ID 260887.1]), run AutoConfig on the database tier then on the application tier and check then.

When I have less than three tabs open after having more open, Firefox does not display the tabs along the menu bar. This means I can't see tabs when I have two open. Is this a glitch?

I do not manage to find the function to change a letter into exposing. I have MUSE DC 2014.2 and the menu does not display this possibility. I tried to import it IN design but that does not function either?
I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.

It is just conceivable you burned a CD that exactly matched one already in the Gracenote database. Gracenote uses track count and duration to decide what CD it is you have in a computer. If you have one that matches that it will label it. You could conceivably even have one that matches it that is not the correct one.

Side bar in mail scroll bars are missing and bar will not expand fully. Clicking on an email does not display it on the same page, it requires double clicking and opens in a new page.

Looks like a problem with JavaScript (Ajax).
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I have a subscribed calendar on my iPhone. The today view in notification center shows that I have an event at xxxx and tomorrow view says I have x events but the calendar day view does not display any of the events. I need this so I can easily see which rooms my events are in. Dows anyone know how to make the subscribed calendar show up in calendar day view?
Interesting. May have uncovered a bug. It seems that limited duration events will display, but all day events wont on mine. (iPhone 5). Does that compare to what you are seeing (unfortunately, I have nothing in a subscribed calendar until the week end, so difficult to check. I do seem to recall seeing an event from one this past week end on the iPad, however).

User-Defined Type does not display values in Table Data grid
