Is this possible? GetProperty of element in embedded swf

I'm very very very new to actionscript, and I have just been
messing around with the studio 8 trial version, and I just had a
question. From javascript, can I get property values (GetProperty)
of an object in swf2.swf, where swf2.swf is an element of swf1.swf
and swf1.swf is the main swf. So basically swf1.swf has a loader
object (it's path name is "main.content.embeddedswf" that is placed
in whatever location and the loader object loads swf2.swf. Also
swf1.swf has many other elements and other loaders that load other
swfs. The object info I want in swf2.swf is "main.content.text1". I
wrote 0 actionscript code, so the loading and whatnot is done
automatically.
I tried doing
GetProperty("main.content.embeddedswf.main.content.text1", ...) and
I can't get any of it's values. Is it even possible to do this? I
want to do this without writing any actionscript code in either
swfs (so basically a generic way).

I would like to store a number of images in an Oracle 9i db in CLOB/BLOB
fields. So far everything is ok. Now for the fun part.
Using an EJB I would like to retrieve the image, and embed it in a JSP page,
contents and all. Rather then the image physically being downloaded as a
separate resource, I'd like to embed the contents right in the document. Is
this possible via the object html tag, or some other tag - has anyone done
anything like this? Although the image would be embedded, I would like it
to display as normal in the browser. Please help! In the end, I'd be
looking for a file like:

<h2>below is the image</h2>
<object params>1294574599445BE3049AAACCEDDAAFFF023...etc</OBJECT>
<h2>above is an image being displayed by the browser</h2>

It seems like a pretty nutty thing to do, but we have a few requirements,
and large enough connect/teardown time to make it worthwhile if its
possible. Any ideas as to whether this is doable?

Hi Chris,
You may use ServletResponse to setContentType to
image/jpeg
image/gif
image/ief
image/tiff
And then write corresponding binary image data to the stream.
Corresponding tag in the html page could look like
<img src="http://my/image.jsp"/>

Most subscribers will use Lightroom for organizing their photos. Lightroom will automatically recognize an installed copy of Photoshop CC. But you could use Organizer. Simply select a thumbnail and then from the Organizer menu bar click:
Edit >> Edit with Photoshop or use Ctrl+H

Sorting elements by category - is this possible in Muse?

I have a page that may eventually have 100+ groups of 3 separate elements, which all are connected with a musical artist. I would like the user to be able to sort through the list based on categories I create.

Ideally, it would sort through multiple elements, and each set would be contained in a fixed rectangular box (so I'm basically sort empty boxes that multiple elements could go in, much like LIghtbox).
There are many places on my website that this could be employed to make the site look better and be easy-to-navigate.
Is this possible in Muse? If so, how? What widgets do I need? I'm willing to invest some money if that's what it takes, but any solution will have to be something I can edit in Muse myself.

You can try to use toolitp where insert the categories in trigger and the items in container , so when user will click or hover over trigger it would show up the category clicked.
The exact behavior that you have mentioned cannot be achieved without using custom code implementation, but with Muse widget you can achieve a similar effect.

Just a just in case mention if you try to download and install Premiere Elements 13 to your Windows XP 32 bit or 64 bit computer....
I was able to download the Adobe tryout for Premiere Elements 13 to my Windows 7 64 bit computer, but it would not install as per Adobe's statement that Premiere Elements 13 on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OSX 10.7 is not supported.
If Window XP is your only computer, then you probably will be able to download the Premiere Elements 13 tryout but not install it.
Do you have Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer as well as the XP?

In the BSP component workbench, is it possible to manipulate elements of a view (listbox, inputfields etc., hardcoded using htmlb tags) in the methods of view implementation class. For example, I have a inputfield which is initially invisible. I want to make it visible when a particular event is triggered. I wish to code this directly in the event handler method. Can anybody provide some pointers?

As the UI elements (tags) do only exist during rendering phase a direct access from the view controller is not possible - especially not in the forward-oriented way from within an event handler as indicated from you in the posting.
However, it is of course possible to hard-code view layouts; for this approach you can use the BSP view corresponding to the view and code there whatever you like. BSP views can also contain code snippets to achieve dynamic effects. In your example it doesn't look like that you need code at all - you need to preserve the status (visible/ invisible) in a value attribute of a context node and use this value to bind visibility of the input field on the layout.
In CRM 2007, there are two main tag libraries (aka BSP extensions) being used:
- THTMLB (single tags, like input field, button, table, ...)
- CHTMLB (configuration tags; these are available for forms, tables and trees)
You should always use these tag libraries in the first place to assure common look and feel and avoid rendering issues.

I have PSE13 on my system, Windows 8.1, 64-bit. It was functioning properly after installation and now I get these messages when I go to print: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You need to check your printer settings before printing." and then this statement: "Default printer could not be opened." I have reloaded drivers for both printers and made any upgrades possible. It was working fine before and now all of a sudden, nothing. Would prefer to have old PSE v.12 back, it worked with no problems.

Easy steps
Locate the document in the Finder.
Control/Right-Click on its icon.
Select Show Package Contents
All images and embedded objects appear in ‘Data’ folder

Using XML Datasource - is this possible

Firstly, let me say I have searched the web, this forum and the tutorials etc to find something useful to point me in the right direction but had no luck thus far.
I have some XML that looks like this;

We have a dropdown list that contains the Name attribute of each staff element. We have done that by using a Datasource and binding it to the XML. Easy.
Once a Staff member is selected in the dropdown list we would like to populate a control with the value of the "Code" attribute from the child SAC Code element(s) for the selected Staff member. We would also like to populate a control with the "Mission" attribute for the selected Staff element.
Is this possible using LC designer? If so what tactic can we use to do it? Any help appreciated. Happy to reshape the XML if it makes it easier.

Evaluating FXG files - possible to access elements and add event handlers?

I would like to read an existing FXG file into flash builder and then datamine the file for elements, and add event handlers to those elements.
For instance, if I have two rectangles in an FXG file (not in the flash builder mxml) and then read it in, I'd like to search for every rectangle and add an event handler that detects a mouse click. If the FXG code changes to three rectangles, I don't want to change my mxml for flash builder.
Is this possible?

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.
