ISABuild: missing sda_build.xml file
Dear all,
I have downloaded the ISABuild-Tool from note 594370 and followed the instructions given at mySAP CRM SAP Internet Sales Building and Updating Modified SAP Internet Sales Web Applications.
The documentation wants me to copy "sda_build.xml" to <ISA build tool>/sap_ear. There is nowhere mentioned where I do get this file from ...
I have taken a look at the <ISA build tool>/bin/build.xml file, finding this comment:
5. Copy the sda_build.xml from your sap distribution to the sap_ear folder
I did a search of J2EE_ENGINE_ROOT without any hit. Any idea where it could be? Could it be inside b2b.ear (basis web app to be copied)? How can I take a look at the content of this file (using windows here)?
"ant build" intterupts the build process when there is no sda_build.xml file.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Martin,
I assume you are talking abt ISA 4.0 version.
For any 4.0 version you would get the sar file from the market place (something like ISAWAC40SP11P_3-20000529.SAR). When you extract this using sapcar you would find the sda_build.xml which you can use in isa build tool.

Go to Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/Configuration/Menus/menus.bak
You'll see a menus.xml there - it is a backup copy of the actual menus.xml file that DW uses.
Copy it from that folder, paste it 1 level above (in Menus folder).
Fire up DW. See if it works. -

The menus.xml file is normally in your personal configuration folder. Before going to the trouble of reinstalling, try deleting your configuration folder. Details of how to find it are here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494812.
When you launch Dreamweaver, it should build a new configuration folder. -
Create the missing server.xml files yourself
Paula and I created the missing server.xml files ourselves. The script is at the bottom of the post.
We badly needed the missing server.xml files to work on the customizations and Oracle was unable to solve this problem.
"I checked on our Automated Release Updates System found that we dont have server.xml that includes PosDelivSchedVO. This confirms that there is no patch available at present to provide you with this file.
As this is not related to coding issue,Support will not be able to log a bug with Development. You may log an Enhancement Request via Metalink, so that Development would review your requirement and if feasible would include this file at the time of future releases"

Missing opmn.xml file and opmn/conf folder
I downloaded Oracle Application Server 10g, Version 10.1.3.4.0
My app says “Warning: Could not find file /Desktop/OAS/opmn/conf/opmn.xml to copy.” My opmn/conf folder is missing and I am unable to install my application that uses OAS. The zip file I downloaded, oc4j_extended_101340.zip, doesn’t have that directory either. So how do I generate it?
The readme file doesn’t say anything about it. It just says
“There are no specific tasks that need to be performed to ready the new OC4J
instance for use. The new OC4J instance can be used immediately after the unzip
operation has completed.”
So then the opmn/conf should come right out of the box, right?First thing, if you are using standalone OC4J (the one installed by unzipping oc4j_extended_101340.zip), you will not have OPMN in there. That means $ORACLE_HOME/opmn directory (and any sub directory) will not exist. Standalone OC4J is not managed by OPMN.
But if you installed Oracle Application Server from the media using regular Oracle Installer, it is OPMN managed and all of opmn directories and files should exist. If any of the file or directory doesn't exist that would mean your installation wasn't clean. You will have look at installer logs for errors. In theory you can try by creating/copying files and opmn directories from some other clean installation but I will strongly suggest to re-install to avoid any other future potential issues.
I didn't understand the part when you say your application is complaining about missing opmn.xml. What is this application? Any custom (non-Oracle provided) application does/should not have any dependency on opmn. Can you clarify this?

Selecting certain iWeb templates results in missing index.xml file error
some, not all my templates (which are all the default ones that come with iWeb) do not work. Of course, the one I need right now is one of the defunct templates!
When I launch iWeb, I get the "Choose a template for your webpage" and the list of available templates.
When I select either "White" or "Black" I get an error message that indicates I'm missing the index.xml file and the only option is "close", which results in an unusable iWeb that I have to re-launch.
What happened to the index.xml file? What do I have to do to get it back? I've updated to the latest release but that did not solve the problem.
Is there an index.xml file somewhere else that I can just copy into the right folder and move on?What follows is a LOG that I took as I dealt with the above problem noted in this post. I apologize for the *CAPS LOCK SYNDROME* and the *AKWARD NATURE OF MY PROCESS* but *IT WORKED!!!*

9. TRASHED NEW DOMAIN FILE.
10. TRIED TO OPEN ORIGINAL DOMAIN FILE WHICH I RENAMED AS 'Domain (redesign 2008)' BUT IT WOULDN'T! STARTING FROM NEW DOMAIN FILE INSTEAD!
11. TRIED TO RENAME THE ORIGINAL FILE BACK TO JUST 'DOMAIN' AND WALLAH AFTER MUCH TRIAL AND ERROR ORIGINAL FILE IS BACK EXACTLY AS I LEFT IT BEFORE UPLOADING TO .MAC ACCOUNT LAST NIGHT.
THOUGHTS:
Something definitely happened to the original domain file when it was being uploaded to .mac account and the renaming of the index.xml file to index-new.xml plus the inclusion of another 'Domain.sites' file in my iWeb folder where originally there was only one 'Domain' file caused the confusion and resulting panic that followed! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
The crazy thing is that this will probably happen again as I make more changes (redesign) and upload them to the mac server. If someone has a *REAL FIX* to prevent this CHANGE from happening - *PLEASE POST THIS HERE!*

I am trying to open a file that I created and worked on for long time month ago and now it's saying its invalid and can't be open, saying that index.xml is missing, how can I fix it? Please help me it's an important file and contains very important information!

As part of something identified by the FBI as a scam (called "Reveton"), I had my Safari page temporarily frozen (apparenly simply by substituting their selected page as my home page), and with a good deal of "hoop-jumping" to "unfreeze" my computer with the help of both ISP and Apple tech support, I am once again able to use Safari and other stuff seems restored as well, but I find my "Pages" documents can be read or accessed because they are missing their ".xml files". This apparently pertains only to those files , upgraded or not, which appear on my desktop without being in folder whether or not I've upgraded them to the new Mavericks status from the recent upgrade. I can create new documents without a problem. This is an "advertisement" for using the new coud tool for automatic update, or somethign like it, which I do not ordinarily do. (Guess I'm gonna have to change my ways....)
Any ideas for a remedy or method of recovery, or do I just chalk this one up under the phrase "learning curve"?The Pages and missing .xml files seem to have restored themselves, probably when I shut off the lovely thing when I went to dinner. I can open the files that I could not open before. I've heard that these things clean and heal themselves; I think I just saw it in action.

Building a EAR using sda_build.xml?

I am looking for information on where to find the sda_build.xml file for building an EAR file using Ant. According to my SAP documentation this file is required to successfully build an EAR that can be deployed to our J2EE server. However I cannot find this file anywhere! Nor can I find reference to it in this forum or in Google...

can't tell you directly where to find the sda_build.xml file. As far as I understand this specific build file is only handy if you are extending/modifying standard sap J2EE applications. In these cases it comes with the J2EE application that you want to modify.
At least the SAP WAS 6.20 accepts ear files that are built and deployed using the deploy tool or even external EAR files as long as they follow the standard ear file format.

XML file missing some schema after upgrade to 8.8

We have already upgraded from SBO 2005A to 8.8. We have Add-on developed ourselves to export sales order, purchase order to xml file from SBO. But the schema <Costingcode> is missing from the file. How to include this schema back to the 8.8 xml file?

I am not 100% clear on your question, but there have been changes between Business One 2005A an 8.8. I recommend that you look at the Compatibility Issues/Changes for 8.8 at this link ...

Also, I am not sure where you originally pulled the CostingCode from (I assume the document lines object?), but it is still available via the Document_Lines Object via the DI API, so you should still be able to access this.

I saved docs from a iMac to a flashdrive but when I plug the flashdrive into an iBookG4 and try to open the docs on the flashdrive, I get this message: Doc 2 cannot be opened. The required index.xml file is missing. Does this mean that I can't use the info on the flashdrive with the iBookG4 or can I do something to get the required index.xml file?

Are you sure you haven't upgraded Pages on your Mac to Pages 5?
Check your Applications folder and the Applications/iWork folder. You may have 2 versions on your Mac.

Please let me know what I can do to get my Numbers (iWork 09) working properly again.
Here is what is going on:
Numbers in iWork 09 not working can't access Blank, Checklist and many other files within Numbers. I can open the program but only a few files are available. When I click on the file (which also has no icon just the name of the file) this warning appears:
The document "Blank.nmbtemplate" is invalid. The index.xml file is missing.
I recently had to get a new hard drive installed and had the system upgraded and more memory put in by a Mac certified specialist recommended to me from the Apple store in Northbrook because this was the 3rd time my drive went bad but this time it was to old (I got the IMAC- in 2007) and the Apple store could no longer work on it this time so they recommended a few places that had certified Mac specialists. Since then Numbers is not working right.
I'm sure it's something simple to fix, but I've tried re installing it and that didn't work. Appreciate any help.

AppMareThere is one way its getting fixed. Once I update my Adobe Illustrator CC to Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 it is further allowing me to go into the system folder and allocate the font to the file so that it can replace it. My only concern now is that our MAC partners who will receive these files back from us have Adobe CS6. We will down save it to CS6 but I hope they won't experience any font issues because of us using CC 2014? Any light you can shed on this?

Missing XML files in Export of Portal Resource in WebCenter Portal App
Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0
1) Create a JSF fragment in the Portal Project/WebContent/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pages -> untiltled3.jsff.
2) From the Component Palette -> Webcenter Content Display Templates, drag a Content Template Def onto the jsff.
3) Create var = "node".
4) Drag an AdfOutputText into the contentTemplateDef.
5) Save.
6) In Application Navigator, right click on untitled3.jsff -> View Page Definition. No page definition has been created. Create a new page definition.
7) In Application Navigator, right click on untitled3.jsff -> Create Portal Resource.
7.1) Select my Content Repository Name(already created a content server Application Resource called UML)
7.2) Content Type - IDC:GlobalProfile
7.3) Content Type Default View: true
7.4) View ID - testTemplate
7.5) Display Name - untitled3
7.6) Content Directory - defaulted to /C:/Projects/Application1/Portal/public_html/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/shared/
8) Click OK.
9) In Application Navigator, right click on untitled3.jsff -> Export Portal Resource.
1) Export Archive File Name -> M:\testTemplate6102011
10) Click OK.
