Issue in drawing table as XPOS and YPOS can't be determine SAPscript

Hi All,
I'm in a issue in drawing a table in SAPSCRIPT.
I have to draw a fix 5 rows 5 coloumns table.
But issue is that i cannot give the X and Y pos as above to it is text element which displays some other line items.
So as the items may vary and thereafter i have to draw a new table.
I used sy-uline and sy-vline but it is not looking completely like a table as it has broken lines.
Kindly advice.

ZS   &uline(80)&
ZF   &vline& Shift 1,,&vline&,,|,,&vline&,,&vline&,,&vline&
ZS   &uline(80)&
in this way im making boxes , but for box statment i will need xpos and ypos else it will draw box at the beginning of window.
Can any one please help me with this paragraph format.
I have used small text but exact tabular structure is not possible.
Paragraph format used : ZF : Line Spacing 0.80 LN
Family     HELVE
Font Size  10.0  pt
What else can help it to look like a complete table ? Srihari any advice ?

• Drawing tables without boxes and lines in XI

Post Author: geeeeee
CA Forum: Crystal Reports
Hi I'm trying to figure a way to draw tables in XI (it seems like a pretty simple task) but I can't find how to draw a table without hand drawing lines and boxes. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunatelly drawing a frame for table is not so straightforward. To draw a frame around the columns and table itself you need to create a window (on top of window where you display your table) placing it at column position and checking Lines width in Output Options tab for this window. This will produce a fake column frame. See [this example|http://img294.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tableq.png].
For rows you could do similar: check what is the heihgt of row in the table and draw respective windows as rows. This one, however will look a bit strange, but for columns it looks and works fine.

• Small issue with custom table cell editor and unwanted table row selection

I'm using a custom table cell editor to display a JTree. Thing i notice is that when i select a value in the tree pop-up, the pop-up closes (as it should) but then every table row, from the editing row to the row behind the pop-up when i selected the value becomes highlighted. I'm thinking this is a focus issue, but it thought i took care of that. To clairfy, look at this: Before . Notice how the "Straightening" tree item is roughly above the "Stock Thickness" table row? When i select Straightening, this is what happens to my table: After .

As I said, you have to have empty context elements before additional rows will be open for input.
For instance if you want to start with 5 rows available for input do the following to your internal table that you will bind:
data itab type standard table of sflight.
do 5 times.
append initial line to itab.
enddo.
context_node->bind_table( itab ).
The other option if you need n number of rows is to add a button to the table toolbar for adding more rows. When this button is pressed, you add a new context element to the node - thereby creating a new empty row in the table.

• Issue with ADF table range paging and sorting

Hello,
We have a requirement to support pagination in ADF tables. For this, we have made use of Range paging access mode in the view object level. The paging works perfectly fine with this. But we have another requirement of letting the user do a sort on the table (Yes!! The paginated table). The sort should be applied on all rows in the db and the control should return to the first row.
Applying sort as it is provided by the fwk, sorts the records in the obtained range only. So we have over ridden the Sort listener in Managed bean for this and are able to acheive the sorting of all rows through a AM method call. We are seeing a problem after this. If the sort action is applied to the key attribute then the previous and next range navigation works fine. If the same action is applied to non-key field, then some times (yea!! This is not consistent) the next set is not fetched.
Here is the code snippet that is called on Next navigation:
Map<String,Object> pfScope = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope();
Object objPageNumber = pfScope.get("pageNumber");
int pageNumber = 0;
if(null != objPageNumber)
pageNumber = new Integer(objPageNumber.toString()).intValue();
BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
JUCtrlRangeBinding view = (JUCtrlRangeBinding)bindings.getControlBinding("GeDmRequestVO");
int iRange = getTable().getAutoHeightRows();
int currentPage = view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart()/(iRange + 1);
System.out.println("Before " + view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart());
System.out.println("Current : " + currentPage);
System.out.println("Page Number : " + pageNumber);
System.out.println("Range : " + iRange);
System.out.println("Value : " + iRange*(currentPage + pageNumber));
view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().scrollRange(iRange*pageNumber);
System.out.println("After " + view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart());
Although, the new values are not refreshed in the table, the SOPs for before and after print the proper range sizes. And as I mentioned above, the above code works perfectly fine if there is no sort applied or when key attribute is sorted.
Would appreciate your help on this regard with navigation after non-key attribute sort.
Thanks,
Chitra.

Hi Chitra,
Can you specify some links to implement RangePaging.....We need to implement pagination.If possible can you share the code or specify the steps how you achieved it.

• XML to Flat File DB Table So I and Others Can Use SSRS for Reporting

I'm using a program called Orbeon Forms to quickly create and distribute forms on the local network.
The program just recently got updated to Version 4.6 so as to use SQL Server DB as a backend. (I was using MySQL in a lower versions)
The data created when you submit a form into the database is held in xml fomat in one of the columns. (see below).
I am trying to create a separate table, to pull that data from the xml column (for that particular form) and place it in to a seperate table using the xml tags as columns.
I have no idea where to start or how to do this. Please keep in mind I'm a novice when it comes to sql server (but I do know how to do select statements :-)....
Is this very difficult to do? If it is (for me at least) where can I go to get someone to do it for me along with the documentation to do it? I was also thinking of a way to create a trigger on the Orbeon table (this is how it is setup currently in
the MySQL database) to automagically insert any saved form data to the new form data table. Is this also difficult to do? And can I have a trigger for each form I create on the table?
If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
I would eventually like to add the form data from the old MySQL database table into this new Orbeon table but it appears the upgrade also added two extra columns. I figuring once in the Orbeon table then I will have to run whatever statements to place into
the separate table so I can use the data.
Randy Marrero

Erland thanks for the reply. Even after reviewing the link you sent I'm still having problems. Guess that is why I'm not a programmer. Anyway I've create a test data form xml I've created and it is copy and pasted below.
Again I'm only really interested seeing if I can get the information out of the xml and create it in its own flat file table. I keep reading that creating a trigger (when the form gets submitted into this database in the xml format, an on insert trigger
would take all the data submitted and inserted into another table with just the data, into separate columns) for this is the best way but I'm not sure how to do this either. I have a copy of what the MySQL trigger would look like but keep running
into errors when I try to run it in SQL Server. Also the issue with how I would create another trigger if / when I create another form. I read somewhere I can only create one on insert trigger per table, still don't know this to be true. Anyway below
is the xml as it is in the xml table in the database.

Boxes, Lines, Shading: BOX, POSITION, SIZE
Use the BOX, POSITION, and SIZE commands for drawing boxes, lines, and shading to print particular windows within a form or passages of text within a window in a frame or with shading.
The SAP printer drivers that are based on page-oriented printers (the HP LaserJet driver HPL2, the Postscript driver POST, the Kyocera Prescribe driver PRES) employ these commands when printing. Line printers and page-oriented printers not supported in the standard ignore these commands. You can view the resulting printer output in the SAPscript print preview.
Syntax:
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
/: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
/: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
BOX Command
Syntax
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
Parameters: For each of XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT, and FRAME, you must specify both a measurement and a unit of measurement. Specify the INTENSITY parameter as a percentage between 0 and 100.
XPOS, YPOS
Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
WIDTH
Width of the box. Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
HEIGHT
Height of the box. Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
FRAME
Thickness of frame.
Default: 0 (no frame).
INTENSITY
Grayscale of box contents as %.
Default: 100 (full black)
Measurements: You must specify decimal numbers as literal values (like ABAP numeric constants) by enclosing them in inverted commas. Use the period as the decimal point character. See also the examples listed below.
Units of measurement: The following units of measurement may be used:
TW (twip)
PT (point)
IN (inch)
MM (millimeter)
CM (centimeter)
LN (line)
CH (character).
The following conversion factors apply:
1 TW = 1/20 PT
1 PT = 1/72 IN
1 IN = 2.54 CM
1 CM = 10 MM
1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the form header
1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the form header
/: BOX FRAME 10 TW
Draws a frame around the current window with a frame thickness of 10 TW (= 0.5 PT).
/: BOX INTENSITY 10

POSITION Command
Syntax
/: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
Effect: Sets the origin for the coordinate system used by the XPOS and YPOS parameters of the BOX command. When a window is first started, the POSITION value is set to refer to the upper left corner of the window (default setting).
Parameters: If a parameter value does not have a leading sign, then its value is interpreted as an absolute value, in other words, as a value that specifies an offset from the upper left corner of the output page. If a parameter value is specified with a leading sign, then the new value of the parameter is calculated relative to the old value. If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to this parameter.
XORIGIN, YORIGIN
Origin of the coordinate system.
WINDOW
Sets the values for the left and upper edges to match those of the current window (default setting).
PAGE
Sets the values for the left and upper edges to match those of the current output page (XORIGIN = 0 cm, YORIGIN = 0 cm).
/: POSITION WINDOW
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to the upper left corner of the window.
/: POSITION XORIGIN 2 CM YORIGIN '2.5 CM'
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to a point 2 cm from the left edge and 2.5 cm from the upper edge of the output page.
/: POSITION XORIGIN '-1.5' CM YORIGIN -1 CM
Shifts the origin for the coordinates 1.5 cm to the left and 1 cm up.
SIZE Command
Syntax
/: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
Effect: Sets the values of the WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters used in the BOX command. When a window is first started, the SIZE value is set to the same values as the window itself (default setting).
Parameters: If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to the current value of this parameter. If a parameter value does not have a leading sign, then its value is interpreted as an absolute value. If a parameter value is specified with a leading sign, then the new value of the parameter is calculated relative to the old value.
WIDTH, HEIGHT
Dimensions of the rectangle or line.
WINDOW
Sets the values for the width and height to the values of the current window (default setting).
PAGE
Sets the values for the width and height to the values of the current output page.
/: SIZE WINDOW
Sets WIDTH and HEIGHT to the current window dimensions.
/: SIZE WIDTH '3.5' CM HEIGHT '7.6' CM
Sets WIDTH to 3.5 cm and HEIGHT to 7.6 cm.
/: POSITION WINDOW
/: POSITION XORIGIN -20 TW YORIGIN -20 TW
/: SIZE WIDTH +40 TW HEIGHT +40 TW
/: BOX FRAME 10 TW
A frame is added to the current window. The edges of the frame extend beyond the edges of the window itself, so as to avoid obscuring the leading and trailing text characters.

• How to Draw table in SAPscript ???

Hi all Guru of SAPScript!
I want to draw a table with column and row in SAPscript. Who can help me step by step?
Thanks!

Hi,
Use BOx Syantax How to Draw table in SAPscript ??? Pls Read the description
Syntax:
1. /: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
2. /: POSITION [XORIGIN] [YORIGIN] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
3. /: SIZE [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [WINDOW] [PAGE]
BOX
Syntax:
/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
Parameters: For each parameter (XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT and FRAME), both a measurement and a unit of measure must be specified. The INTENSITY parameter should be entered as a percentage between 0 and 100.
•XPOS, YPOS: Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
•WIDTH: Width of the box.
Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
•HEIGHT: Height of the box.
Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
•FRAME: Thickness of frame.
Default: 0 (no frame).
•INTENSITY: Grayscale of box contents as %.
Default: 100 (full black)
Measurements: Decimal numbers must be specified as literal values (like ABAP/4 numeric constants) by being enclosed in inverted commas. The period should be used as the decimal point character. See also the examples listed below.
Units of measure: The following units of measure may be used:
•TW (twip)
•PT (point)
•IN (inch)
•MM (millimeter)
•CM (centimeter)
•LN (line)
•CH (character).
The following conversion factors apply:
•1 TW = 1/20 PT
•1 PT = 1/72 IN
•1 IN = 2.54 CM
•1 CM = 10 MM
•1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the layout set header
•1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the layout set header
Examples:
/: BOX FRAME 10 TW
Draws a frame around the current window with a frame thickness of 10 TW (= 0.5 PT).
/: BOX INTENSITY 10
Fills the window background with shadowing having a gray scale of 10 %.
/: BOX HEIGHT 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a horizontal line across the complete top edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a vertical line along the complete height of the left hand edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT 1 CM FRAME 10 TW INTENSITY 15
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '10.0' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '13.5' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
Draws two rectangles and two lines to construct a table of three columns with a highlighted heading section.

If one of the parameter specifications is missing, then no change is made to this parameter.
•XORIGIN, YORIGIN: Origin of the coordinate system.
•WINDOW: Sets the values for the left and upper edges to be the same of those of the current window (default setting).
•PAGE: Sets the values for the left and upper edges to be the same as those of the current output page (XORIGIN = 0 cm, YORIGIN = 0 cm).
Examples:
/: POSITION WINDOW
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to the upper left corner of the window.
/: POSITION XORIGIN 2 CM YORIGIN '2.5 CM'
Sets the origin for the coordinate system to a point 2 cm from the left edge and 2.5 cm from the upper edge of the output page.

• Why is draw table empty after i import from memory id 'SAP_APPLICATION' ?

Hello,
I have the following
data draw like draw.
data intdraz like draz occurs 0 with header line.
import draw
intdraz
from memory id 'SAP_APPICATION'
at this point draw table is empty and does not contain the information of the selected file, so basically
draw-DOKAR
draw-DOKNR
draw-DOKTL
draw-DOKVR
are all empty.
does anyone know why this is happening ?
thank you

Hi Rushikesh,
Dynamic table i have created with same structure as of internal table which is getting exported....
thats why i m surprised how come structure mismatch.....i have checked in debugger, structure is same.....for both the tables,
Can you/anyone give any example of Exporting internal table to MEMORY ID and getting it back (IMPORT) into dynamic internal table of same structure...

• Why is my daughter getting my texts on her iPhone and how can I stop this?

My daughter is receiving my complete texts to other iPhone users. How can I stop this?

You're welcome. I use the same Apple ID for iCloud for three devices here in the family for simplicity. To be honest, despite others recommending against it, it makes it easier for me to track the children's phones and we have not had any issues with messages or FaceTime. And, I can track all of the devices with a single sign-in of iCloud and can lock and erase any and all with one login.
