hi am in weblogic 10.6.0 so i have a problem when i click server tab in my console it take long to open that tab mybe 30 mins and than it show this error message in red

Hi,
Have you collected the Thread dump when you face the issue .Collected at least 5 -6 thread dump in an interval of 30 sec apart
Thread dump will help us to identify what may be the issue and will let us know what the server threads are doing or for what resource they are waiting .

ACE slowness issue when one server goes down

Hi,
We are having two application servers.Both are load balanced using ACE.
When we bring down one server, we find that when we upload some files into the second application server, its too slow.
But when primary server comes up again the performance increases.This issue happens only when we bring the primary server down.
We are using cookie based stickiness.Any ideas where we can look into.

Text is flashing off to the side when clicking a tab

I'm in the process of redesigning a website, and while making
this flash video, i notice my flash movie loads perfectly, and
everything comes up fine, and for the most works fine, however this
1 glitch.
when the home page is loaded, and i click any of the other
tabs, the text for the previous page, flashes on the right side of
the screen in a semi-opaque fashion.
the text on the page is black, but what flashes to the right
is like an off-white.
I've been through everything, and can't seem to find the
cause of the problem.
I am a novice, and the template I downloaded was provided
freeware to use and customize to my own liking. I don't know all of
the commands or features yet, and it's been since 2001 since I last
used flash, so I've forgotten just about everything I learned, and
am having to relearn this as I go.

Additional tabs will not open when clicking the "+" tab at the top of the screen or by clicking "file + new tab"

I've been using Firefox for several years and just ran across a problem within the past two weeks. I usually have several tabs open at the same time while browsing the Internet. Suddenly, when I tried to open a new tab by clicking on the "+" tab at the top right of the screen, a new tab would not open. Then I tried clicking on "file + new tab" and a new tab still won't open. If I click on a link within an email, then a new tab will open, but I cannot choose to open a new tab. Please help! Thanks! :)

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

Open a page in a new window when clicking a tab

Hi everyone,
I am developing an apex application with apex 4.1.1 and Oracle 11.2.
I have a tab-set "TS1" in which I have a tab called "startpage". With this tab is associated a page. When logging in, this page is displayed. What I want is when I click the "startpage" tab when I'm in another page than the "startpage", the "startpage" is opened in a new window and the current page doesn't change. Only after a "login", the "stratpage" is displayed without opening a new window. I have tried several things such as an application process, etc but in vain! :-(
Has anyone an idea how can this be possible?

Sounds a little complicated to do with APEX standard tabs because when you click on them they actually submit the page via javascript. It would take some javascript jujitsu to replace that with your own action. You may have better luck replacing your tabs with a list. Or a plugin like the Enkitec Navbar (disclaimer: I do work for Enkitec).
However, would you mind explaining better when your trying to accomplish? It sounds a little strange. What is this page that needs to pop open? It wouldn't be a login window would it?

Firefox 13.0.1 Navigation Toolbar changes height when clicking on tabs

Only happened today, no changes made to the system.
When I click on a tab the icon height of the Navigation toolbar icons decreases to a square for half a second and then returns to the deeper height (rectangle). This makes all the page below the menu bar jump . Rather distracting.
Hiding the Navigation toolbar obviously cures the problem but is not practical for obvious reasons.
Any ideas folks; anyone heard of this before?

Hi Chris; I tried changing the 'use small icons' setting back and forth when this problem first occurred and it made no difference to the problem.
I updated to FF14.0.1 this morning and tried ColorfulTabs again, and although the flicker was of a shorter duration the problem remained. FF14 does seem to load the tabs a little quicker so that's probably the reason for the faster flicker.
I shall have to live without ColorfulTabs until I find a fix or they update it.

New tab does not open when clicking on + tab

I'm trying to open a new tab. I click on the + tab and nothing happens

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Embedded iFrame in Tabbed Panel loses ability to scroll when clicking between tabs.

I've created an iFrame within a Tabbed Panel to display content that scrolls independently. This works properly when the page is first loaded but if I switch between tabs and return to the original tab, the content is fixed within the frame. Zooming the browser window or reloading the page restores the scrolling ability. Example is below.

Update. This seems to be an issue with Safari. I tested it on a Windows 7 box with Chrome and it works perfectly.

Getting Redirect issue when clicked on CR controls after session expiry

Dear Experts,
I have a issue in my ASP.NET and crystal reports and the scenario is as follows:
I have implemented some reports in my my ASP.NET page. If the page is left alone for 15 mins (assuming 15 mins is configured as session time out), and then click on any buttons in the crystal report control tool bar (like export, navigate and etc), I am getting the following error.
Response.Redirect from inside an asynchronous callback method
I get this error beacuse in my base class I check for validity of the session and do a redirect to home page using Response.Redirect() when the session in invalid. This code apparently fails as crystal report make a asynchronous call to the page when the toolbar is clicked.
I got some links from other sites suggesting to add some java scripts to the response stream and etc. It did not work for me.
I am sure some one would have faces this issues and got a fix for this. If so, please share with me

Not sure. The only thing that comes to mind is to check for the session variable to see if its still alive in the Page_Init. You might be able to trap it early enough there.
Other than that, I doubt this can be resolved in these forums and I'd recommend creating a phone case here:

RUNDLL Error When Clicking MSI Tabs

I just installed an MSI MX440 8X video card.
I am getting the following error message when I click on the MSI Info & MSI Clock tabs in control pannel:
"An exception occurred while trying to run "shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL" C:Windowssystem32desk.cpl", Display"
I am running Windows XP Pro on a Dell Deimension 333 PII w/ Dell/Intel 440LX OEM motherboard.

Add Remove then reboot to safe mode and install the nVidia's drivers or you can do it all from safe mode.
XP has a way of installing it's own or whatevers available immediately after reboot. After add remove,
Delete the file msicpl.dll from your windows directory.
That will remove the MSI tabs if the add remove doesn't remove them. You may also look around for any directories that may be left behind if you are comfortable.
If you want to unlock additional options......
Use notepad to make a new file and put in it what's quoted below and then save it with the .reg extension.
Then just double click on the file and it will add it to your registry.

I just updated to Firefox 17.0.1 and now I can't click on a bookmark to open it or open new tab when clicking new tab button.

In FF 17.0.1 I have several bugs to mention. I am only able to open bookmarks by right clicking them and selecting Open In New Tab from the drop down menu. I am unable to open a new tab by clicking on the new tab button or by clicking open new tab from the FF drop down menu at top of browser. Also, none button work in FF, such as Home, Back, Forward, or refresh. This is so aggravating!!

After I posted this, I restarted with add ons disabled and it worked..deleted a cpl of addons for compatibility checking and that fixed it.

Right now, the default rows displayed in my current development is 'Rows 1 - 25'

try to use <MaxVisibleRows>500</MaxVisibleRows> this will apply entire application, if you just want to set particular report edit analysis--> table/pivot view properties and increase the no of rows display.

Sticky issue when failed server become active

Hi,
We are operating the ace(csm) and using the sticky option.
Assuming that We have two servers with sicky for redundancy and being opreated active - active,
I realized that if one server go down and go up, Csm dosen't forword packet to restored server.
I think it is due to the sticky option. We need csm to play loadbalancing two servers once one is restored immediately.
Is there anything opinion or solution?

If a real goes down (fails probe) then the csm will remove it from service and not send connections to it. The entry will also be removed from the sticky table. When it comes back, it will receive new connections when it is elgible. If all incoming connections match existing sticky entries then it will take time to gather load. If you configure "predictor leastcons" under the serverfarm and limit the sticky life, then it will allow the failed real to recover load quicker. Matthew
