Issue while importing a application
Hello,
I am using Apex 3.2. I am working in a application having export file size of 14MB. I am able to export the application but not able to copy this application as well as import and install it successfully.
Is there any limitation of Apex 3.2 regarding the file size for import or anything I need to check before importing the application.

You can use SQL Developer(Apex SQL Developer Integration or SQl Plus to import the application.

Getting error while importing the application in Oracle Apex
Hi,
I am facing an issue while importing an application into my new Oracle Apex installation. Installation was successful with out any issue. I exported an application from my old Apex (version 3.0.0.00.20) and importing the same into new apex (version 3.0.1.00.08). I am getting the following error.
============================================================
The requested URL /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server.
============================================================
When I click on import in Application Builder page and then browse the required file it gives the progress saying "Importing File" and after some time it displays the above error.
I tried bouncing the application also and there is not error in alert log.
Could any one please suggest, if there is some problem here. Or my approach is not correct.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Advait DeoOsacar, I recommend that you try to import the application into your workspace on apex.oracle.com and see what happens. Also, refine the problem statement as much as you can, e.g., you get this error importing "the application" or when importing "any" application. How big is the file you're trying to import? Where did it come from? Can you upload images?

Issues while configuring java application using JDO with MS JDBC Driver 1.0
We are in the process of configuring our java application with the production version of SQL Server 2005 Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) Driver 1.0. We are facing issues getting it to work with Sun App Server using JDO concept.
After creating the data store, adding the JDBC driver to the application server classpath through console and also copying the driver into the lib directory, we are still getting the below error.
Following is the stack trace encountered while running the application

Regards,
BinduI have already tried this before and this not work too, but strange that even if I use JDBC:ODBC bridge driver, the return value for output parameters are not correct, that is, only return the value that I input but not the value after executed in the procedure....
The code that I used with JDBC:ODBC bridge is as follow:
public static void main(String[] args) {
String url = "jdbc:odbc:;DRIVER=SQL Server;Persist Security Info=False;database=db;Server=sql;uid=sa;pwd=pwd";
Connection con;
ResultSet rs = null;
CallableStatement callS = null;
try {
Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
} catch(java.lang.ClassNotFoundException e) {
System.err.print("ClassNotFoundException: ");
System.err.println(e.getMessage());
try {
con=DriverManager.getConnection(url);
callS = con.prepareCall("{ call dbo.CpJavaTest (?)}");
callS.registerOutParameter(1, Types.INTEGER);
callS.execute();
rs=callS.getResultSet();
int ret = callS.getInt(1);
System.out.println("return value : " + ret);
while (rs.next()) {
String f1 = rs.getString(4);
String f2 = rs.getString(5);
System.out.println(f1 + " " + f2);
} catch(SQLException ex) {
System.out.println("SQLException: " + ex.getMessage());
The value of the output parameter is same as what I inputed! Hope any one can teach me how to correct it...
Thank you very much! -

Peremiere Pro CC import issue while importing XDCAM 422 50 MXF file
Hi I also posted into the german board, but got no reply - so now I'm gonna try it in the international board too:
I want to import XDCAM HD 422 50 footage into Adobe Premiere Pro CC. It's the current version. The footage was recorded with a Sony PDW 700. I copied the data directly from the disc to my HDD and kept the directory structure alive. I tried several plugins and also found just one: Calibrated{Q} MXF Import Overview to make it work. But in trial it's just possible to edit 750frames on each clip. So I'm very limited with that. I don't want to upgrade to full version and pay hundreds of $ for this. I guess Premiere should work with this format natively - I mean, it's a really common format!
Btw: I'm driving Premiere on a MBP 15" Retina with OsX 10.10.1 and the Error message is something like "file format not supported or damaged file". I have no issues while encoding the files to ProRes 422 - so I guess they're not damaged. But the encoding 3rd party tools also costs additional money.
Did one of you ever had problems like this?
I'm looking forward to hear from you guys.
Thanks in advance and all the best,
KalleYour sequence settings will have no effect on PP's ability to actually import the footage. Something else is going on.

Discoverer issue while importing(ergent) ...
Hi,
adupdeul: cannot find executable 'dis4adm.exe' in
notgiven directory.
Please use iashome for Dicoverer 10G and above.
adupdeul is exiting with status 1
Above issue is faced while importing from R12instance.
copied discover folder from R12instance to discoverer server and executed still the issue exists
Getting Cannot Find Executable 'dis4adm.exe' Error When Running adupdeul.sh in Discoverer Server 10.1.2 [ID 463265.1]
Above not followed but still the error exists
Thanks,
Sai
Edited by: SaiMahadev on Nov 22, 2011 12:44 PMIf you are logged in as the OS user who owns the discoverer files and you have set ORACLE_HOME properly (to point to discoverer ORACLE_HOME) and you still get the same error then I would suggest you log a SR.
Thanks,

Issue while accessing Hyperion Applications
Hi,
we successfully Installed Hyperion 11.1.2 on win 2008 server R2 . Essbase and Planning was working fine.
Now we are facing issue while connecting to Hyperion Shared services , Planning , Workspace URL's.
When we tested all the web applications was working fine. Tried restart of the server but did not work.
Below error comes up when we try to access these applications.

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. Regards,
VijayaDid you register the Essbase application with Shared Service, do the following steps:
(EAS) console. Right click on the application name and select 'Register'.
application successfully registered. Log on to Shared Services and select the application to assign access control.
If the error is occurring with all Essbase applications, you can register all of them at one time:
Click 'Register all'. Confirm that all applications were successfully registered. Log on to Shared Services and try assign access control for all applications.
If the re-registration does not work from EAS you may need to reregister Essbase as a product.
Locate the product_config_#.xml in the directory EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/foundation/11.1.2.0/product/product_name
For example; the Essbase product file is located in EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/foundation/11.1.2.0/product/Essbaseserver/11.1.2.0
Open the file product_config_#.xml and locate the line:
<property_name>="hubRegistration">Configured</property>
Change the status from Configured to Pending.
Rerun 'startconfigtool.bat' or 'startconfigtool.sh' or the EPM System Configurator again and select the product. This enables you to reregister the product with Shared Services.
Now check with ur ULS -
Problem while importing the application in application express 3.0
Hi Friends
We have developed an application in a workspace say X. I imported the complete application in different workspace Y and the import was successfully. Now if I export a single page from that application in workspace X and import in workspace Y, then it gives me error as
"This page was exported from a different application or from an application in different workspace. Page cannot be installed in this application."
Also I tried changing the application id in the export file but did not work.
Is their a workaround for this?
(We are using application express 3.0.0.00.20)
Thanks
MinakshiHi Scott
1 ) Page exports are to be imported into an application having the same ID as the source application in the same named worskpace.
But the problem is I cannot have same application id in the same workspace or in different workspaces even. I exported the complete application from workspace X with application id as 555 and tried importing the application in workspace Y with the same application id. But that does not work since it throws the error message as the same application id cannot reside in 2 different workspaces.
2) You don't say whether workspaces X and Y are in the same or different databases.
Both the workspaces X and Y are in the same database. The database user/schema that is associated with workspaces X and Y are different.
3) Also I tried changing the application id in the export file but did not work.
Following is the extract of the page that i tried importing. The places wherever it is marked BOLD, i modified them in the original page export sql file.
--application/set_environment
prompt APPLICATION 500 - Load_Factor_System
-- Application Export:
-- Application: 500
-- Name: Load_Factor_System
-- Date and Time: 15:52 Wednesday May 16, 2007
-- Exported By: ADMIN
-- Flashback: 0
-- Export Type: Page Export
-- Version: 3.0.0.00.20
-- SET APPLICATION ID
wwv_flow.g_flow_id := 500;
wwv_flow_api.g_id_offset := 0;
null;
In case you need further clarifications, please let us know.

Issue while importing bex query into BO
Hi EXperts,
I am using Bo xi 3.1 sp3 i am facing the issue while building the universe with bex query iam getting the following error "Error getting measures for cube (cube name(0QM_C09_Q003)),It is giving this error, i resolved this error by check cumultave property in th measures,is it right to do like this or is there any other way to resolve the issue.
Regards
SurajHi Juhi,
I am facing the same issue. BW query has three input parameters i.e. Year, Month and Profit center.
I can create the service when query has only one input parameter i.e. Year. But when query has more parameter other than year, I cant create the service. Getting an error 'Association AZPROFIT_CToListOfValues: referential constraint property not found in entity ZMFIGL_ZFIGL_COST_FINAL_FIORIParameter.'
As per your last reply, if we have multiple input parameters then it does not allow to create the service from BEX query. How did you resolve this issue. Please provide some details.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi MDM Gurus,
I am facing a problem while records are getting imported in MDM. The problem is when I am importing records in MDM it is mixing up the field values if null for the records which have the same match record key.
Eg: I have following data:
in this Mobileno is key field and records are getting imported with the help of this key
Firstname lastname Mobile
aaa bbb 987654321
ccc 987654321
O/p is produced as follows
Firstname lastname Mobileno
ccc bbb 987654321
First name of a person is getting mixed up with last name of another person having the same mobile number as that field is empty while importing. My requirement is it should not overwrite null values or if some values is already there Null values should not overwrite the already present data.
Has anybody come across this problem
Thanks & Regards
Kiran
Edited by: Kiran on Jan 20, 2009 12:58 PMHi Ankur,
Mobile number field is unique field in my case. Let me explain you with another eg
Consider the following case where in firsttime the data comes with following record.My unique key in this case is filed1
field1 field2 field3 field4
aaa bbb ccc ddd
MDM stores it as:
field1 field2 field3 field4
aaa bbb ccc ddd
Again data comes in MDM as:
field1 field2 field3 field4
aaa fff
it now gets stored up as:
field1 field2 field3 field4
aaa bbb fff ddd
which is creating a problem as data is getting mixed and not getting stored as it comes to MDM.
Thanks & Records
Kiran
