Issue with ANT Based Deployment

Hi Guru's,
As part of My development , I am deploying 6 composites with ANT Script. In that 5 Composites are Successfully Deployed on SOA Server.
one Composite Deployment is failing and I am getting the following error
"[deployComposite] ---->response code=500, error:There was an error deploying the composite on soa_server1: Error occurs in applying deployment plan /tmp/sar_base_dir_5e4c0ad0-4b7b-432d-9e0e-684e3509a041/BPELProcess_Sample_cfgplan.xml to sar file: /tmp/sar_base_dir_5e4c0ad0-4b7b-432d-9e0e-684e3509a041/sca_BPELProcess_Sample_rev1.0.jar.: /tmp/soaear_10645.tmp/META-INF (Is a directory)"
Could you please help me in this issue and it is urgent one for me.

Hello Ashok,
This seems quite strange, are you missing any description in the portalapp.xml. Is the par file that you have deployed is a custom developed one.
Just try uploading the par file once again, then click the refresh button, clear cache. then you should be seeing it. No restart of portal is required. Are you missing any type of roles/ groups. As a test could you try to assign the 'Administrators' group to yourself in UME and see whether it was because you miss some authorizations? In anyway Portal didn't have to be restarted.

After the recent update I am having issues with Flash based games freezing and not responding.

After the recent update I am having issues with flash based programs not running or loading correctly. The programs will not load or take an extremely long time to load compared to jsut a few days ago. This happens across the board on anything flash based. Also, once they do load they will freeze, stop responding or need to be constantly refreshed to come back alive which is short lived at best. I went thru the help and did all the file deleting, cache clearing, disabling hardware acceleration, removing then reinstalling flash, and even removing and reinstalling my browsers. None of this has helped at all. I am using Chrome and it is up to date and I checked my Flash player and it is up to date. I am running windows 7 64bit.

Here's what you're up against guys,
Adobe writes the base code for Flash Player, and then hands it off to Google, who adapt it to a PPAPI plug-in (it's NPAPI when Adobe writes it). It's then "PepperFlash" and Google embeds it in their Chrome browser. While Google is pushing a "webwide" move to PPAPI Flash Content, a reinvention of the wheel so to speak, not everyone "got the memo", and Google is slowly making it so that PepperFlash will block NPAPI Flash content from running properly, and you have to disable PepperFlash to force the NPAPI plug-in to work, which sometimes fixes it, sometimes not. I have a feeling this is only going to get worse. HTML5 will eventually resolve the video end but game developers need to come up with something that won't require a plug-in.
And to the first post: Since PepperFlash is embedded in Chrome by Google, you can uninstall and reinstall Flash Player from here until your hard drive literally seizes up.... guess what? It has NO EFFECT at all on the PepperFlash plug-in in Chrome because it's a separate file in a separate folder and the uninstaller & installers don't have anything to do with it.

Issue with ant-sca-compile.xml

We have installed AIA 11.1.1.3, and using Jdev 11.1.1.3,
We are facing issue while deploying ABCSImpl Composite(AIA Service Constructor Based composites) through Jdev 11.1.1.3 ,

Compilation of Requester and Provider ABCS takes longer time than other AIA components.So check the Xms and Xmx values in ant-sca-compile.xml and check whether it is matching with your OS environment or try setting at a higher value and then try deploying again.
Is it building properly or is getting stuck at build level only?
If its issue with deployment then check $FM_HOME/user_projects/domains/[domain_name]/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa-server1-diagnostic.log.

Issue with frames-based sites in Sf-3(L); Looking for confirmation

Is anyone else having issues with Safari 3 (Leopard) and frames-based sites? Specifically, frame sizes not being obeyed?
For example, phpMyAdmin's left Navi frame is, in most themes, supposed to be about 180px wide; if need be, the frame is coded to show scrollbars (again, in all the themes I've used so far anyway).
However, Safari 3.0.4 on Leopard apparently ignores this and resizes the left Navi frame to an unusably narrow width (for reasons unknown - it's not the the right frame is especially full or anything), with no scroll bars either! However, the very same phpMyAdmin site works fine in Firefox 2, where frame widths show up exactly as they are supposed to.
Is anyone else having or can duplicate this issue?

Issue with Level-based measure at Year level

Hello everyone,
I am facing weird issue while using OBIEE 11g level-based measure at the Year level. I am creating a trend analysis report that are displaying Expense Accounts dimension with 6 levels and 2 measures: Expense YTD, and Expense Full Year measures
The report has multiple rows with value "Others" in the 3rd level of the account dimension (Account Level 3) yet, they all have different IDs and associated with different parents (different Account Level 2 values)...
When i displaying the Expense YTD measure only results are fine and everything is perfect, when selecting Expense Full Year measure, only the first occurrence of the value "Others" in 3rd level column is displayed and non of the remaining records appears...
What makes my life worse is that i can't even see the log file of this query because an error occurs when trying to view the session log i.e. "No log file found"
Please help, i am about to start the UAT phase of the current project and i am running out of time..

Hi,
do you deploy the Spring classes with the application ? I suggest to try the OracleAs forum as well to ensure this has to be in a specific path to be loaded. A list of forums is available from here

--If yes, each managed server will have its own unique http port. So application deployed on that will be using a port associated with that managed server.

Has Apple acknowledged that there's an issue with location based reminders?

After searching several posts, I haven't found where Apple is working on a solution for the location reminders issue. There are several recommendations that people make...but most don't seem to work. What say you Apple??

It was a bug. In iOS 7.1 Apple fixed the location based Reminders. Users no longer need to have the Reminders app running in the background for location based reminders to fire off.

Issues with Form based on Transient VO

I have a jspx page with an ADF Form based on a programmatically View Object, with all of its attributes transient type and both options checked:
Passivate State
Including All Transient values.
After the user has entered some input I clean the form by calling a method that does something like this:
getUserInfoVO().clearCache();
Row row = getUserInfoVO().createRow();
getUserInfoVO().insertRow(row);
getUserInfoVO().last();
This works fine. The problem is that when I simulate a Production environment, by disabling Application Module Pooling, the form is created null
(just showing labels without any fields).
Is this a kind of bug? As far as I know if I have checked both options, this shouldn't been occurring. Also is causing problems if I try to restore a previously created
save point, giving exceptions of DeadViewRowAccessException or couldn't get the View Object with a fixed Id.

Issue with pdf-based forms (correspondence)

Hello!
Got a problem with our new pdf-based forms.
I'm tryinig to print a new pdf-based dunning form via correspondence (fpcopara), but there is no option where i could say "XFP data stream with context evaluation". There are only the options for Smartforms and SapScript.
Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

Here are the steps (from generating the form up to the point where i want to print it):
1. Transaction Code: SFP (Form Builder)
create a new interface with interface-type: ABAP Dictionary-based Interface
2. Transaction Code: SFP (Form Builder)
create a new form. Layout type = Standard Layout, Interface from step 1, create a small layout and activate both (interface an form).
3. Transaction Code: EFRM (Maintain Application Form)
create a new application form with these options:
Form Class: IS_U_CA_DUNNING
Form Type: PDF-based Form
PDF-based Form: (name from step 2)
After creating this new application form, try to activate it.
4. Transaction Code: FPCOPARA (Correspondence Printing)
For this step you need printable dunnings in your system.
Tab: Print Parameters
Output Device: your XFP-Printer
And there we are... There is no option for PDF-based Forms at this point. Just the options for SapScript and Smartforms.

Issue with New Release Deploying Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010

Previously I created a deployment project with Visual Studio 2010 using the Beta 2 release of the distributable. This worked fine and installed on a 32-bit XP machine.
I've since updated the project to use the new Release version of the distributable CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi. Now when I run the installed program it gives me the following message -
"An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports runtime. Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient, or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly. Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium) required. Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more information."
I've had a look at verious posts and added code to the app.config file so it looks like -

and also tried targetting various .NET frameworks, but without success.
Am I missing something?

More info, are you installing on the same PC as the Beta was installed on or a clean PC?
Your app must be set to the full framework, not the client version.
Are you installing by right clicking on your setup.exe and selecting run as administrator?
Setting that option in the app.config is only required if you are using that driver you found the info on.
Run ProcessMonitor and set it to filter your installer and see what it reports.

Template Issue with RemoteApp Hybrid Deployment

Hi,
I have uploaded a template by using the template provided in cloud gallery (Windows Server 2012 R2) and configured RRAS as provided in the creating custom template image Microsoft documentation.
The image was uploaded after which I configured my On-Prem with Azure VNet and once completed when I attached the template and tried to click the publish applications I see an error as “There are no application configured/added
at Startup”. I am not quite sure why this error comes up and went through some online search but couldn’t find any references.
Similarly I also tried to use HyperV and configured a Windows Server 2012 R2 and pre-requisites and uploaded the custom template and found the same error.
I am attaching the screenshots.
Ratemp6 -> For this template I used the Gallery Image and created VM and then followed the steps to create a vhd and uploaded to remoteapp template
Other Templates -> For this I used HyperV and used win server 2008 r2 and then followed the steps to create a vhd and uploaded to remoteapp template
Please let me know if anyone has face similar issues and how to resolve it.

RBA Issue with Reporting on Deployment to a limited (parent) Collection

I have not been able to configure RBA for the following scenario that I would assume should be common:
Collections:
All Firm PCs
All Firm PCs (limiting Collection) > NY PCs
All Firm PCs (limiting Collection) > LA PCs
So we have administrators that should be able to see all PCs at the top level and have the "All Firm PCs" in the scope. Then we have admins that should only see NY PCs, and LA PCs so their scope is only the "NY PCs" or "LA
PCs". This works fine.
The issues is that for task sequences deployed to the "All firm PCs" collection, those in the NY and LA scopes cannot report on the advertisement that is applying to computers in their scope since the deployment applies to a collection outside
of their scope. Ideally, they should be able to report on the deployment for the PCs in their scope.
I have spent months on this so please help! Thanks!!

Issue with Consumption based Planning( MRP )

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement in my client to run CBP for Spares.
There is no issue till MRP run.
Background
MRP runs every night for Plant and new proposals in the form of PR are generated as per requirements.
After MRP run user wants to puts in Cost centre through MD06 in respective PRs generated .
The requirement is as follows
1) In MD06 the user wants to list only those items for which freshly created PRs last night are there.He will put in Cost centre one by one and mark the processing indicator.
2) Next day again MRP runs for the same materials and new PRs might not have generated but the material line item still appears on MD06 list for processing . This is unnecessary and should be avoided .
or
3) If we get a indicator suggesting for these PR costcentre has been put and for these Costcentre has to be put.
Please let me know if we can use the input parameters or exception msgs/lights or find function to my advantage.

Just make sure that you firm all those that you add CC (it should be automatic). Then system will not change them next run, and you can ask to see only not firmed (firmed already have CC).
