Dear All,
I am using BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to create GR with some custom fields for this custom fields am using EXTENSION in BAPI but while execution am getting exception 'badi not implemented' in internal BADI below am sending that code.
Call BAdI MB_BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to fill own fields
    TRY.
        get badi lo_mb_bapi_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
      CATCH cx_badi_not_implemented.                    "#EC NO_HANDLER
    ENDTRY.
Kindly suggest me some solution why this BADI throwing exception...as i think this BADI should implemented automatically when i call BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Issue with BADI 'ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST'

Hi People,
I have a requirement wherein we need to make the Delivery Date in Schedule line of PO as Uneditable. This needs to be done for specific User-Group. Hence I have decided to use the BADI 'ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST' to attain the solution.
I am facing a problem in using the BADI. I have created 2 different Field Selection(one with editable and other without) through SPRO and am trying to swap the field selection based on user in the Method 'FIELDSELECTION_ITEM_REFKEYS' of the BADI interface. This swapping doesn't seems to be working. Can anyone give me some idea on why is this not working, Eventhough the Method is getting trigerred.
Also i have tried the other method 'FIELDSELECTION_ITEM' to make them uneditable by changing the Field Selection Properties. but still no luck as this method not getting trigerred at all.

Did you check the sample code which is delivered with the BADI. This code can be accessed by following:
GOTO->Sample Code->Display.
Check the method FIELDSELECTION_ITEM to see an code example. It appears to me that you should do something like that by changing the properties for field mmmfd_deliv_date.

Performance Appraisal-Issue with BADI HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS

The requirement: For a given year, say 01/01/2007 to 12/31/2007, if an EE has a value 01 in a field on IT0001, then show the column X else do not show the column.
By implementing the BADI, we are now able to control the access to the column, but it seems that the BADI is checking the value of the field as of the system date and then showing/hiding the column. We would like the BADI to check for the value for any time between 01/01/2007 to 12/31/2007, irrespective of the system date. The ABAP person working on the BADI is not able to check for the dates in the BADI. Can you please assist and advice on what can be done in this regard.

He must be using a select query to get the 0001 infotype data or a FM.
If its a select query then
code for the begda and endda like this.
                 AND ( ( BEGDA <= V_BEGDA AND ENDDA >= V_BEGDA )
                 OR
                 ( BEGDA <= V_ENDDA AND ENDDA >= V_ENDDA ) ).
here your V_BEGDA is 01.01.2007 and V_ENDDA is 31.12.2007.

Issues with bad apps

What recourse do I have if I buy an app and it does not work ot it works poorly?

there isnt a terminal app to acess the iPhone file ssytem but there is a telnet app to access remote systems in the app store - also a couple VNC app and even a TH520 for IBM AS 400's
i dont mind not being able to access the file system on the iPhone but my organiation turns off telnet access - so what i want is for someone to write an ssh app so i could could access my unix systems from the phone

What version of the Mac OS X are you running. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac and post the version.

Adobe 9 Multiple issues with scale resetting, hand tool disappearing, and bad parameters

Hello and thank you for help!
We are having a single machine have issues with the scale resetting on a documents after they have been saved. We will set the scale to 1-30 and after re-opeing the pdf, its back to 1-1
Also having issues with the hand tool reverting to the pointer tool after an indeterminet amount of time. And lastly we recieve the bad parameter message when using the clouding tool, the feature can be used right after that with no issues. Where to start troubleshooting this issue?

Are you saying that
you are going to the Document Properties tab->Initial View and setting the magnification and then saving the file, that this setting does not stick when you reopen the file
or
you just changing the view magnfication while looking at the file, saving the file and that view mangification doesn't stick.
If the latter, its not supposed to. If the former, then Houston we have a problem.

Did you check with Verizon to make sure that your destination country would allow the device you have to connect? The possibility is that this country does not have (or you are not in range) a carrier that uses CDMA. If the carriers in this country use GSM you may be out of luck. VZW cannot guarantee service in any country outside the USA.

Issue with New BADI activation

Hi,
I am working with BADI BADI_HRTMC_DR_FIELDS. I need to create a new implementation with filter value 'SAP_BP'. Already a standard implementation HRTMC_IM_DR_FIELDS_BUS_PARTNER exists with same filter value, but I dont want it to get executed. When I tried to activate my new implementation, I get error saying another implementation exists with same filter value. I am not seeing any options for deactivating the standard implementation. Please suggest how I can make my new implementation run instead of the standard.

Issue with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi experts,
I am developing a program whereby I have to create GR from PO and post these documents. I have been able to use the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to create the GR. However I am facing an issue. After the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, I call the FM - BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to commit the BAPI, but it isn't working.
The bapi is only creating the GR and it isn't posting it. also, I have tried to use COMMIT WORK AND WAIT statement, but this too is not really posting the document. The only solution I have been able to find is to use WAIT UP TO 10 SECONDS. In terms of performance tough, this isn't the best solution.
I was wondering if anyone knows how I can force the commit to the BAPI or if there is another alternative to create and post GR from PO.

Ipod sync issues with Windows 7

I just purchased a new computer with the Windows 7 operating softeware and now I cannot sync my Ipod Touch (3rd generation) but I do not experience this issue with my old computer with Windows Vista. When I need to update my Ipod I have to connect it to my old computer. Help. I do not want to pay Apple for support when I see countless post about this issue.

No that wouldn't be it. The manual vs. Auto sync setting is stored on the iPod, not on iTunes. So if you take a manually managed iPod and plug it into an iTunes it has never connected to before, the new iTunes will still recognize the iPod as manually managed and not do anything bad to it (in theory).

Does Verizon ever provide a different model phone if the customer has basically had the same issues with 3 prior 'replacemet' (refurbished) phones?

I have owned a Samsung Galaxy Stellar for the about the past year and a half, which is only my second smartphone. I am not a whiz at all this but I'll try to be coherent. I had problems with the Stellar from the beginning: Very slow loading browser, problems with the cursor, etc. After about 6 months, the phone dropped, and no, I didn't throw it on the ground!
I have insurance and it was still under warranty, so it was replaced, by Assurian, I believe. The replacement phone had the same problems, plus a whole lot more. During calls, the wifi, and/or Bluetooth options would appear, or the phone would suddenly go on mute. In addition, when I tried to access my voicemail, what I heard was my own voice and outgoing message, not the one from Verizon asking for the password. These problems were intermittent, which made the Verizon employees dubious, but it's like the car that you take to the garage that suddenly works fine. Anyway, there were some other problems too, so I got a replacement phone again, which is the phone I currently have had for about 3 months. A few days ago it went from bad to worse. In fact it went Crazy!: Every call I make or receive is immediately dropped. Maybe after 5 or 6 tries, I can complete a call, but rarely. When I do, the mute and speaker options spontaneously activate, at the same time!! When I go into my voicemail, the messages are deleted in rapid fashion, one after the other, and I cannot get them back. Or, as I said earlier, the Wifi/Bluetooth screens appear, and it's difficult to punch in any numbers as I have to hit the back arrow many times. Strangely, the phone makes odd sounds: It buzzes or makes this odd chiming sound! If I didn't know better, I would think that I have finally lost my mind! I could go on but you have the gist. The phone is simply not workable. I phoned tech support, and she was very nice. After an hour on the phone, it worked ok, until the following day. She didn't do a factory reset, but she had me take the sim card and battery out. She did things on her end, which unfortunately I don't recall, but the phone worked ok until the following day, when it went crazy again.
I took it to the corporate Verizon store where I live, The guy said "It's a lousy phone, a cheap, bottom of the line phone." By the way, throughout this time, I had had about 6 hours with tech support, between this phone and the last one.
THIS IS MY QUESTION: I asked him if I could have a totally different phone, since this model is clearly defective. He said no, but they could send me another replacement. He told me to call trech support while I was there in the store and ask them, because they don't do repairs at the store. The tech on the phone told me the issue is with my Gmail account! That there is a virus on some phones and each time I get a replacement phone, because I have kept the same Gmail account, the virus keeps getting 'transferred', for lack of a better word, to the next phone. I was totally incredulous. Virus? She said, "Well, I use the term loosely, but it's just a weird glitch.When you get a replacement phone, bring it back and we'll save and upload all your data, and set you up with a new email account." I was confused and annoyed, as I had never heard of this, and felt I was getting the runaround. I asked her if they could give me a different phone (free of charge) and of course the answer was no. By the way, I should mention that the Stellar is no longer made. These are my options, according to the 3 different Verizon employees I spoke with: I am eliblele for the early upgrade which they call the Edge. From what I understand, it's the full retail price paid out over 2 years, with a partial payment made at time of purchase. One person told me that after 24 months, they would accept what I paid as payment in full? Sounds too generous. Option 2 is $50 of a new phone, and option 3 is to buy a new phone at a Verizon store that is having an android sale. So, I acquiesced to getting another replacement which I will keep until I buy a new totally different phone. My impression is that it's not like buying a bad toaster. They don't refund your money and let you get whatever you want for the same price! My question is this: Does Verizon ever just replace a phone that has had problems, with a totally different model? I have made as much of a stink as I can muster towards that end, but I am wondering if anyone out there has actually been able to pull that off?

amysue, We defintely want you to have a reliable and working phone. Our apologies that you have had issues with the current model, the Galaxy Stellar. After reviewing information about the overall function of the phone, it does not appear that Samsung has recalled the device or stated that all Stellar devices are defective, with that being said, the warranty would still only cover the same make and model. The only time a completely different phone is sent out is if the manufacturer deems the entire make and model overall faulty. It is common to have a few glitches and a master/factory reset, in addition to all other troubleshooting, will help resolve these issues. The Stellar is no longer made because there have been several Samsung galalxy devices launched, and this is common with any device manufacturer. Our recommendation is to take advantage of EDGE, if you are seeking a new device with low monthly payments. This gives you the chance to explore different device options without having a contract and you can EDGE up to a new device once meeting certain requirements. We hope to resolve your concerns here or by calling customer support.

MacBook charger problem/Issue with charging

I've got the newest revision MacBook and there's a big problem with my charger. First, let me note that I've got the newest battery update, and have recently reset my PRAM and PMU. Inn addition, I've installed the new firmware update, and that has only seemed to make it worse. The trouble is that when I plug the MagSafe into my MacBook, it either:
a) shows me no indication that it the power cord is connected, or;
b) a dim green light appears where there should be a brighter green one that turns orange.
Now, I can sometimes stare at the little prongs coming out of the MagSafe connector to see how to best align the male and female ends. However, this still takes 5-10 minutes to do if it works at all, and the slightest motion disconnects the power. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a software problem, an issue with the charger, or one with the computer itself? If you need to see pictures to tell, I can post them on flickr and give you a link. By the way, this is bad enough that I am typing on a Windows PC right now, against my will.

I have exactly the same issue.
In when i connect the macbook to the power adapter, there's no bright light showing (only very vague green in the dark) , and it shows in the system profiler that its connected but not charging.
i changed the power adapter but the problem still exist, tried to change the battery as well, but didnt work as well, what is the part which is having a problem in this case?!
By the way also completed al restds (SMC etc).
It is time that Apple provides a solution I figured out is is a common problem.

Issues with Home Hub 3 Wireless. And lousy teleph...

I don't know if this forum is moderated or followed by BT support staff, but I sure hope so.
After coming from Virgn Media for my BB to BT infinity (Awesome speeds btw!) I'm pleased with the connection and, up until today, the support. I now have issues with my Wireless devices on the HH3.
This is the outline of my setup:
I have the Open reach modem connected to the home hub. I then have the 1Gbps ethernet port from the home hub that is connected to a 1Gbps 5 Port switch that connects my wired network together (Consisting of my Xbox, Networked Printer and my Desktop PC). Wireless serves 2 Laptops, an Xperia U phone, and a G5 Ipod touch (not all mine, I have a flat mate).
My issue is that when more than one device connects via WiFi, the WiFi network has serious issues: The connections don't drop per se, but websites are not delivered, data transfer is intermittant at best - i.e. the WiFi network simply does not work. When there is only one device, there is no issue.
Now, being a techie (I don't mean to title drop, but I think it's important that technical support know that I know my stuff) I'm an electrical engineer (The graduate type) and I know my IT - so I have my own idea of what's wrong with this.
Now, as my order was not completed until yesterday, techincal support couldn't/wouldn't help until today. Yesterday, however, I spent hours trying to solve my issues and got as far semi-solving the problem. I managed to get everything working nicely together when Wireless N is disabled and only a/b/g is enabled. Great, but a main selling point is the Wireless N and I want to use this.
So, today I phoned technical support. I should also note here, and I made this perfectly clear with support, that when the WiFi starts to missbehave, the wired network still works perfectly and I have no issues with internet connectivity with any wired devices. So, clearly this is not a line fault - it's on this side, aka, the router WiFi side where the problem resides. Support decided to do a line test anyway - and of course it got the all clear. He then asked me to reset the router (Yey, again after I had done it plenty of times before, only this time I had customised the SSID and the LAN IP addresses and now they need done again). He then went on to state that I should receive an e-mail with instructions on what to do next, and if they are still issues to reply to a text message that will be sent.
Duly, an email arrived. It began with "Sorry you had to call us today about your wireless disconnecting. We’re pleased we could help you get it working again." and continued on with with this theme. No, my problem is not resolved! I phoned back, this time advising me to change channels, and check individual devices to see if they're any conflicts - I did this pretty quickly and disabled and re-enabled WiFi on my Laptop, phone, ipod and still to no avail.
I have now been told that I will get a phone call between 3 and 3:30pm to see if the WiFi will settle down. huh!
I don't mean to be such a pain and sound like such a git, but this is not an issue that I believe the technical support (via the call centre anyway) will be able to solve. This is an issue with the HH3, mine at least, not being able to handle mutiple WiFi devices conntected simualtaneously - all but one on N, the other on G. Now, I'm of the understanding that this shouldn't be a problem. I'm sick of telephone support going through their script without listening to the whole issue either or beleiving that I spent a good 2 hours yesterday getting to the bottom of this. I don't need line tests, I don't need resetting the router, I don't need changing channels - I've did all this!
So it looks as though I'm stuck on HH3 in 'G' for now until we solve this issue.
Further information: I'm using the type A HH3; again wired devices are not impacted in any way from this issue; I have tried multiple different channels; YES! I've reset the router and power cycled it; And this issue happens wether my WiFi devices are 1 meter away from the HH3 or 15 meters away.
Could this be a bad HH3 or frimware issue? Can someone suggest something or highlight something that I've perhaps overlooked or missed?

When will these issues with iOS 8.0.2 be fixed?

Admittedly, this problem has been going on since Apple released the core iOS 8 software, but it's glaring (worse) here. Let's go to the beginning.
I own an iPhone 4S 8gb and upon release of the core iOS 8 software, I installed it like a fool and I didn't know that a lot of problems came with it, so the next morning, my iPhone's internet (connected to a WiFi network) was shotty as sin and I really needed it at the time because of a Transit thing I was doing until recently. The features that came with the iOS 8 is impressive, but I also was shocked when I couldn't even listen to my music for a whole day (I fixed that when I hooked up and synced in iTunes), despite my library having the same number of songs before the update on the iPhone. Now, I've heard of these problems from a friend who apparently works for the Apple tech department days after I discovered them myself, so I waited for the next update in hopes that it'd fix all of the core iOS 8's problems, but... short and to the point, this update is even worse than the core software. Problems include, but not limited to:
Safari lags like crazy at times, especially when you're trying to type something. Also, Safari seems to not direct you to Google unless you searched for the topic again; I don't like doing that. I like typing in a research topic in Google's engine only once.
Siri is much worse than the 7.1.2 software; the assistant can't tell what you're saying 69% of the time. I'm also not pleased with holding the home button to speak to the assistant and continue holding it until you finish speaking to her/him.
Apps freeze and become unresponsive and in common cases, they crash in the middle of the night (a perfect example would be YouTube) while I'm sleeping (not 100% sure who's to blame for this, Apple or the app developers themselves).
(refer to the lagging Safari bullet) The keyboard lags on you badly and I'm not just talking about Safari, this problem is every where you need the keyboard in, including basic texting in iMessage.
The Music app apparently can't judge your selection at times, like, when you select a song from your library, it takes 3 hard pushes on the touchscreen to select it and sometimes, it randomly selects the next song under the one you want to listen to.
Did I mention the constant lag?
I'll probably find more problems as I scan though the iPhone tonight, but above are the main problems that I have with 8.0.2, not 8. I know what you're probably saying: "Why not just downgrade back to 7.1.2 where you didn't have barely any problems at all with your iPhone?" Well, apparently, Apple stopped signing the software when I tried to restore the iPhone in iTunes to that firmware, so I find it completely pointless to try to downgrade. My core question is "When will these issues with iOS 8.0.2 be fixed?" I know the iPhone 4S can work with the newest iOS, because, if it wasn't, iTunes wouldn't have notified me of the update. I was thinking of getting an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus June or July of next year, but if the software is still buggy at the time, I'll stick to my 4S until my contract ends at the end of 2015

Also, I've noticed that the 4S' battery life is horrible even if there's just music going on in the background. Common battery life for the iPhone is 3 hours (just having music and data active) and most of the time, I'd have to carry my USB charging cable with wall socket so I don't have to worry about it shutting down on the go and I know it's the software that's the problem because it wasn't like this prior to iOS 8.0.2 or even the core iOS 8. Common battery life for the iPhone on iOS 7.1.2 was atleast 7-9 hours on the same conditions as listed above.
