Issue with Java Application with ECC - Connection Issue

Hi
We have developed one java application to connect to SAP to extract some data. We are using java API (sapjco) to connect to the SAP. Now we are facing one issue u2013 for the ECC while connecting through the java application we are getting u201CUserid or Password incorrect erroru201D, but with the same userid and password we are able to log through the SAP GUI. If we changed the password with all CAPS (Capital Letters) and without numeric values, its working fine in java application (Means its connecting to ECC)
We are facing this issue only in ECC; the same application is running successfully in SAP 4.7 etc. without changing password.
Please Help!

I would draw the conclusion that you have to provide the paaword in upper case. There is a standar java method there that does this for you. Just do it before sending the password.
Regards,
Benny

  • How to use a proxy with java applications?

    I have a nokia 6300 type s40v3
    hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to use a proxy of any and how ? kind with java applications.
    thank you

Well, it works well when, into my applet, i do somethig like this:
    URL url = new URL(host);
URLConnection connexion = url.openConnection();My applet uses proxy setting from IE6 but only if i use Java 1.4.2_08.
With IE6 and Java 1.5.04, it doesn't work (my applet doesn't use proxy settings)
With Firefox and Java 1.5.04, it's ok
Have you already seen a problem like this with Java 1.5.04 ?

Actually, I am sucessful to logon Business View manager with CRuser1. However, I fail to logon CMC and infoview and got the above error. Have you any suggestion to solve this problem?
    Ken.

if you can logon with client tools then that should be an indication that the service account running the CMS IS working! Good news.
So the problem is likely with the java portion (krb5/bsclogin or java options)
If the files are in c:\winnt\ (if not copy them there) and perform c:\program files\business objects\javasdk\bin\kinit username
    then enter and password/enter again
Probably get the same message. To note in your krb5.ini all domain info must be in CAPS (the .com appears to be in lower case)
kinit works with just the krb5.ini, java SDK and AD (removing BO config and the service account from the picture). Once that works if your java options are specified properly you should be able to login to CMC/infoview.
also 1 last point. Add udp_preference_limit = 1 to the krb5 lib defaults section
    libdefaults
    default_realm = BD.com
    dns_lookup_kdc = true
    dns_lookup_realm = true
    udp_preference_limit = 1

  • IDOC and ALE Configuration with cross application with SD

    Hi Sap Gurus,
Please send me some document on IDOC and ALE Configuration with cross application with SD.
Please send me the material on my mail id [email protected]
    Regards
    shekhar

    Dear Shekhar,
concerning EDI concept in SD: the EDI concept is intended to realize the sales and distribution process completely automatically with the help of electronical documents. These documents are sent from one customer to another, are processed mostly on the background and give a possibility to realize the sales process extremely efficiently.
If MM-customer would like to purchase the goods then he creates the IDOC of type ORDERS and send it to SD-customer. On the SD-side the IDOC is processed via the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and creates the sales order. As confirmation the SD-side can send to MM-side the Order-Response IDOC (function IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS). The MM-customer can every thime send a change to the existiong order, then on SD side the ORDCHG IDOC will be processed. It can change the order like in VA02. The creation of the invoice can be made via IDOC of message type INVOIC (function IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC).
So, the process can be realized completely automatically between SD and MM partners with the help of IDOCs: ORDERS, ORDCHG, ORDRSP, INVOIC.
    That's all concerning the SD-EDI.
Additional processes in SD, where EDI are used:
    1) application of delivery schedules to the scheduling agreement: IDOC of type DELINS
    2) creation of a delivery order to the scheduling agreement: IDOC of type DELORD
    3) creation of external agent service delivery to scheduling agreement: IDOC of type EDLNOT
    4) creation of credit advice / credit memo in the frames of self-billing: IDOCs of type GSVERF, SBWAP and for external invoice creation SBINV.
It is all processes which are realized in the SD module via EDI.
    I hope this info helps.
    Kind regards,

  • How to connect Java Application with database!

Dear all, now I am create a dababase application. My database use JData Store. But I don't know how to connect application with it. Can you tell me this proplem?
    Thank!

Do a google search for JDBC, or go buy a book.
You will need a JDBC driver which supports your database. Or you might be able to use the JDBC-ODBC bridge if there's an ODBC driver for your database.

  • Java application with classes to Applet?

    Hello,
First, I'm a Java junior, but I can make efforts to analyse and understand code.
I saw an interesting open-source multiplayer poker java application: [JiBi's Hold'Em|http://sourceforge.net/projects/jibisholdem/]
I would like to try to add it as an Applet on my server, but I have some questions.
1- Do you think it is possible to make it fully works as an Applet (eg: through a proxy), as it seems to use a specific protocol and many classes?
2- I tried the idea of GumB: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=390846&start=13&tstart=0
with getContentPane().add( new javaApp().getContentPane()but I have the following error message:
I also tried with imports (import holdem.core.Card;etc) and with HoldEmClientGUI().getContentPane() or holdem.gui.HoldEmClientGUI().getContentPane()
    D:\JiBisHoldem\src\holdem\gui\HoldEmApp.java:7: cannot find symbol
    symbol  : class HoldEmClientGUI
    location: class HoldEmApp
            getContentPane().add( new HoldEmClientGUI().getContentPane() );
                                      ^
1 errorAm I close or really far from a working result?
    Thanks
    John.

The above way seems to have the same result as getContentPane().add( new javaApp().getContentPane().

  • Create Java application with Essbase

    Dear Experts
I have a demand for a potential client.
Where I believe it is best to implement an application with Java or APEX another relational database and Essbase.
    How Hyperion Planning and others.
    But not using Hyperion Planning.
How would integrate it with Essbase?
How should I build a Java application without losing any of Essbase?
    Anyone ever done this?
What documentation should I read about this?
    Many questions and design challenges.
    Thanks for all

    Dear J.M. and Evgeniy.Rasyuk
    Its many useful responstas way.
    J.M.
I do not believe that Oracle would take steps for me create a Hyperion Planning. -ok.
Then all the resources used by Planning and other apps should be available for APIs and MaxL or otherwise connect, execute and monitor Essbase Database.
I believe there is a significant demand for this scenario using technology Essbase.
It's a big four who has requested an opinion on this.
    Thank you,
    MMB

  • Distributing a java application with fewer files

I'd like to distribute an application with the JRE but would like to reduce the number of files in the distribution. The JRE alone requires several JARs and other license files. Can the JRE be repackaged into a consolidated JAR with my application without breaking the licensing rules?
    thanks,
    Paul

This does not sound like a Java problem. Go into your W7 control panel and make sure the ODBC driver is correct. Make a new DSN for your system and see if you can connect. You may have to reinstall the ODBC, it souds like something there is having a problem.

  • Can we have a java application with out need of JVM??

    Hi
Does java support exe kind of installable like in c/c++( is it platform dependent)?if so who it works??
Can we right an application, which run on any machine (i.e. platform dependent) with out need of JVM installed on that machine

The short answer is no. A slightly longer answer.
There were attempts to compile Java to native code. I remember playing with such a compiler: TowerJ. If you do this, you will end up with native executables, but not only one. You will have one per platform. Hopefully you will find compilers like this for all platforms (unlikely) or at least to all platforms you expect your application to run on. Compiling Java like this is complex and it may have all kind of restrictions.
Symantec VisualCafe (out of business) now, provided a feature by which you could turn your Java program into a Windows executable. It was a bid executable containing a small native stub, the VM started by the stub, all the JDK classes and all your classes. It was still running under a VM, but this fact was hidden from you. I am pretty sure this concept is alive, just Google for it.
If you drop the requirement "without VM" only to "without user having to install the JRE", you can survive. You can package the Sun VM with your application (legal, but read the conditions) and than install both. The user does not know what you install, the VM is just another component of your application among others that make it work. You do not need an installer for this, a ZIP with all the stuff inside does the trick.
Note that again, you will need to create separate installers/zips for every platform supported, because the JRE part is not the same.

  • Profiling a java application with HPjmeter

I have a java application and i want to identify the performance problems .
I'm doing a static analyze and a dinamic analyze.
For the dinamic analyze everything work ok.In the command line i have the options:
    java -agentlib:hjmeter name
When i want to have a static analyze i have the option:
    java -agentlib:hprof name
    or
    java -Xrunhprof name
But i get the following error message:
hprof error:can't create temp heap file: java.hprof.txt.TMP[../../../src/share/demo/jvmti/hprof/hprof_init.c :775]
My application is running on a HP-UX server:
    java version "1.5.0.03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0.03-_13_feb_2006_16_39)
    Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0.03 jinteg:02.13.06-15:51 PA2.0 (aCC_AP), mixed mode)
Can anybody help me with some sugestions?
    Thank you!

inside Java Studio Enterprise/Netbeans stack of tools this functionality is implemented as NetBeans Profiler
    http://profiler.netbeans.org/
The Profiler hasn't been a part of default Netbeans distribution. The JSE8 is based on NB4.1. Profiler compatible with NB4.1 is an early-access Milestone release, and thus i'd recommend to consider more recent version of the Profiler, the one for NB5.x (though you'd need to install NB5 also).
