Issue with re-connecting a Client Computer to the Server Essentials R2 2012
I have an issue re-connecting a Client Computer to Server Essentials R2 2012. The Client Computer in question was connected to the Sever originally. I started getting Error Messages indicating that I was running out of storage room. I
had been wanting to re-configure this Server with additional Hard Drives for some time, but something else always came up first. Now, I was forced to address the problem. I shut down the Server and added additional Hard Drives and while I was at
it I replaced the original Hard Drive that the Server Operating System was on with a much smaller Hard Drive, and reinstalled Server Essentials on that Drive. Everything was working fine and the Server Back-up went fine to an external Hard Drive.
I was ready to re-install my Client Computers. I started with my primary Production Computer first. The Connector Software seemed to install fine, but as I moved through the Connection Wizard I received the following Error Message: "Cannot
connect this computer to the network. This computer is already connected to another Windows Server Network. Before connecting this computer to the Windows Server Essentials network, you must remove this computer from the current network.
To resolve this issue, contact the person responsible for your network". I am the Administrator. I removed the Connector Software following the instructions in the "Troubleshooting connecting computers to the Server", but I continue
to get the Error Message whenever I attempt to re-connect the Client Computer. I have not attempted to connect any of the other three Client Computers yet as I need to resolve this issue first on my primary production machine. Where am I going
wrong? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Based on the error messages that you provided, please remove the connector software from Control Panel completely. Then, in the problematic computer, please locate
to: Control Panel-> System-> select Change settings. And select the Computer Name tab in the System Properties dialog box, click
change button. Then in the Computer Name/Domain Changes dialog box, please take the computer out of the domain as a workgroup, and rejoin in new domain.
Please check if this issue can be solved. If it still exists, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

My itunes account on windows xp shuts down for no reason. If even try to delete something from my library it shuts down. Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

Phpmyadmin connection issue with mysql database on local computer
Got mysql and phpmyadmin installed on my iMac. I open phpmyadmin site in safari and try to login to the database and I get the following error:
"Safari can’t open the page “http://imac.local/phpMyAdmin/index.php?lang=en-utf-8&token=872752b265e4d375dddae b18d06bd85b” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later."
I can connect to the sql database okay from the mysql manager gui just fine. Any suggestions?Hi David-

I did try to setup a testing server using one of your tutorials, but I received FTP errors. Since I have a working website with remote and testing flagged on the same server and for my ease of understanding, I copied the setup as closely as I could (less the SSL add-on). Mind you, I originally setup that website 3 years ago, so I'm a bit rusty. I'm not a web developer and don't do this for a living, thus I get by with instructions from the books I own, web tutorials, Adobe forums, etc., but I have not taken any classes. It's not my choice to work with PHP, but I have to in order to pull data from database tables into my web pages. Since I don't do this for paying customers, I don't have to setup anything too fancy (thank goodness). I would like to know how to debug and write java script code, but I lack the time and patience (mostly patience).
Besides...Adobe does such a good job with their products, that I can get by pretty well without having to know everything.

Issues with WiFi connection to Deskjet 3545
Hi,
I have number of issues with WiFi connection to my new Deskjet 3545 AIO:
1. Printer is not able to get IP address automatically from home WiFi router (all other devices get IP with no problem). Using WPS allow printer to register in network but after switching off, WPS setting is not stored, so I have to do it again. This I was able to solve with manual entering of IP address, netwrok mask, DNS and gateway address.
2. Official HP software installed from HP site was able to find printer for 3dattempt, and it started to work. But after a while, "HP utility" program loose connection to printer, so I can not see any parameters, and I get "can not find printerä message when start to to print. After a some time (minutes to hours), whithout any action from my side, connection to printer seems to be restored, so I can see printer parameters in "HP utility" and printing is started.
3. Official HP software installed from HP site on PC (Windows 7) is not able to find printer on WiFi at all, works only with USB.
All this is disaponinting and unexpected, as my office HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color works perfect.Hi @DmiBro,

Tips for troubleshooting wireless connection issues
The following tips can help you troubleshoot and avoid wireless connectivity issues. You can try these tips separately or in combination to get a successful wireless signal.
Move the printer and the computer closer to the router, but no closer than 6 ft (1.8 m). Wireless signals can be weaker at greater distances between the printer and the router.
If you are experiencing an intermittent wireless connection, try restarting your router. Consult your router manufacturer, Internet service provider, or network administrator for instructions on how to restart the router.
Remove any metal objects between the printer, the computer, and the router. Objects such as refrigerators, microwaves, or metal bookcases can interfere with wireless transmission.
Move any device that emits radio signals, such as microwaves and cordless telephones, farther away from the printer. Such devices can interfere with wireless signals.

Issues with ODI connection to Hyperion Financial Management

I am having some issues with ODI connection to Hyperion Financial Management. ODI and Financial management are setup on different machines.
The ‘Cluster(Data Server)’ name in Topology is given as ‘hfm03cl’. On reverse-engineering a model it gives the following error:

When HFM is installed on the same machine, it works fine. How does ODI identify a cluster on a different machine? Do I have to give the machine name along with the cluster name? If so, what is the format?

SuYou will need to have the HFM client installed on any machine that will be running ODI (i.e. Designer or Agent) that will be executing connections to an HFM server.
Once you have the HFM client installed, see if you can actually connect to HFM from that machine using the HFM client.
Couple of other thing, in the Physical Schema, have you set the Application Catalog and Work Catalog to the same HFM application?
Also, when you are reversing, are you using the local agent or one you have installed using agentservice?

Since the Mountain Lion OS update today I've had issues with internet connection and e-mail, has anyone else?
That's what I would have thought, but even after saving the setting, as soon as I shut down my computer or log out of Mail, it automatically defaults back to 25. It's a bit frustrating.
Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of those horrible pop-up banners but still have my glass sound and number of emails in the red dot when I get an email...
These little tweaks are the only thing I HATE about upgrading my OS. -
Wifi is not available where I come from. I have broadband connection where data transmission is through cell sites then to USB modem connected to a computer. The modem draws power from the computer. Will this setup work with the ipad?
iPad requires Wifi (or 3G /LTE) to connect to the Internet. You cannot connect a USB modem to the iPad.
You can create your own WiFi hotspot through your computer for your iPad to connect to, if your computer supports this functionality. All Wifi Macs and many Wifi PCs do. Check your computer manual for how to do it. -
After the recent update of iOS 7.0.6 my phone is having issues with wifi connectivity. It gets disconnected most of the time. I went through support page and done with "Reset Network settings" too but it doesn't help. It is very toublesome while watching videos, sending pics, chatting and so on. Please advise.
It works fine in LTE network. The problem is with WIFI only.

My iPod Touvh 4th Generation won't turn on. It will not charge even after I used a few chargers and will not connect to a computer. The Home button is broken and I don't know if the Lock/Sleep button is now broken or stuck as well. I believe there may be a problem with the battery or the backlight. I am trying to update ipod touch from ios 4.3.2 to ios 6.1.3. I have it connected to my computer, and the summary in itunes indicates the update is available. However, when I click "update", it opens Windows Explorer and waits for a file name to open.
I am not at that computer now, but I did check via windows update & with the check updates menu choice in the itunes program - neither indicated a newer version of itunes is available. (it is a vista computer).
The itunes software on the computer displays my ipod & the current ios (4.3.2), and indicates a newer ios is available (6.1.3). When I choose "update", I am taken to Windows Exploer and prompted to choose a file to open. it is as if the "update" button has the incorrect code attached to it.
The ipod is working, but there are several app I would like to install, but I can't with the current ooperating system. -
I want to synch my address book to my I-Pad using the usb connection to my computer, but the IPad doesn't show up on the desk top or in I-Tunes. Any suggestions?

I am having major issues with links in keynote! Even though the links (a navigation system) are on the master page, they are only working on some of my slides. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this or similar issues? Help!
I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Or have any idea on how I can solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!Links should not create any problems in Keynote. If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

empty the trash: Finder > Empty Trash

Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive

when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions

when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

That sounds like you've engaged one of the automatic syncing options for your nano.
Plug the nano in, and go into the Device screen for the nano in itunes. Is "manually manage ..." unchecked? If so, check the box for it, and click okay. Disconnect and reconnect the nano. Is the content on the nano able to be selected in your iTunes now? -
I was upgrading to the latest version of itunes, and my new ipad mini was connected to my computer at the same time, try to sync for the first time. The upgrade crashed part way through, and now itunes won't load and I get an error message saying MSVCR80.dll is missing. How do I do about reinstalling this file?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
