Issues with book region availability? (Keeps saying it isn't available, then it is, then isn't...)

I'm having a slight issue with a specific book series's availability (The Vorkosigan saga)- About two weeks ago I purchased the first four books in the series through my local (Australian) ibooks store, straight onto ipad. Now I've gone back to get more, and I'm getting a very odd issue...
If I search for the book series, it apparently doesn't exist in the store foraustralia. But, I get a message saying it is available on the US store.
If I switch to the US store, I get a message saying it is not available on the US store, but -IS- available in australia. Swapping back to the australian store leads to the situation starting again.
I've even swapped to canadian, english, etc and other versions of the stores, all saying that books from that series -are- available before I swap, but saying they are not available after I do it. This is happening if I acess the store from home, from university, work, etc, and on all my different devices.
Does anyone know if there is any way to solve this issue? Or is anyone able to check if they can find the books in one of the stores I've mentioned (which would indicate it is just me, which means this is something I should be able to fix somehow)?

I've sent the ticket in, but I figure I may as well keep this here too, since quite often other people can help much better than support does.
Okay. Knowing they're not showing for other regions too helps, I guess.
If I look at my purchases on itunes and find them, I can re-downloand the ones I already have fine on my computer's itunes. But searching for them yields nothing in any store version. I deleted one off my Ipad at random, and tried to re-download it straight onto the ipad with wireless, and I got the "not avialable in your region" error there.
Searching them with google lets me find links to them on the store eg

and

for the AU / US store versions respectively. Using one will tell me it isn't available in this region, but is in the other one's.

It sure sounds to me like something on the iPod is broken. If it's under warranty then I would send it back for repair. If not, check out some of the web repair services, such as iPodResQ etc.

It sounds like you are unable to re install iTunes because the Apple Mobile Device service failed to start. Try restarting it with the following article:

Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Click the Windows Start button .
In the Start Search field type Services.
In the Programs section of the search results, Click "Services".
Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
After the service has stopped, click Start the service.
After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.
Then if the issue is resolved, set the service to start Automatically with the same article.
If it is still not working, use these steps from the same article to completely uninstall iTunes and its associated applications and install a fresh copy.
Remove and reinstall iTunes and AMDS
If the issue continues after restarting AMDS, then you'll need to remove and reinstall AMDS and iTunes.
Completely uninstall AMDS, iTunes, and all Apple software. Click the appropriate links below for steps:
Windows XP
Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Restart the computer.
Download and install (or reinstall) the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes. Installing iTunes will also install AMDS.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and connect the device. It should be recognized properly in Windows.

Issue with assistive access not keeping permissions

Since a recent upgrade (likely from OS X 10.9.x to 10.10.2) I've had issues with Assistive Access blocking Automator and Applescript from interaction with dialogs.
If I run my script or my Automator workflow (which basically has the same script in it) I get the error:
System Events got an error: Automator is not allowed assistive access. (in the case of Automator).
If I open Automator, and then untick and retick the Automator entry in the Accessibility options within Security & Privacy (System Preferences), then workflow can run again. It continues to work until I Quit Automator. Then it's as if OS X no longer trusts Automator to be the same app I gave Accessibility permissions to. And the situation repeats. It's much as if it were not code-signed. The exact same issue plays out with Apple Script.

In my Accessibility permissions I now have:
Script Editor
Automator
1Password 5 (which the script interacts with)
com.apple.security.agentStub.xpc (in case that's being called up and triggering the Accessibility issue)

SecurityAgent.xpc (in case that was triggering the Accessibility issue)
I added all these because the post at http://bit.ly/1x3SRmc indicated that anything Apple Script is interacting with needs Accessibility access permissions.

In Automator it would appear the script is generating an error as soon as it reaches line 5, "if not (exists window 1 of process appName) then"
I would greatly appreciate some assistance in resolving this issue.

Starting with Mavericks, Apple changed the way that the accessibility works (see Using AppleScript with Accessibility and Security features in Mavericks) - each individual application needs to be given access, instead of a global option. A regular AppleScript application saves properties and global variables with the script, which makes it a new application as far as the system security is concerned, so it needs to be re-added to the accessibility list. I have a popup region that i am invoking from a base page on clicking of a button, in the popup region i have search functionalty , so i am giving some search criteria and clicking find button and able to get the data,
but the issue is when i am clicking the find button the popup getting closed, i need the popup should display teh search data and after that i have some other functionality to select some rows from the data and need to click one mote button to reflect the data in base page, so how i can retain the poup on click of first button, please help me out

Check the vo attribute attached to the Date Field, it should be of Date type at both the level..VO Level as well as Database level.

Issue with Query Region

Hi All,
I have a query region with result table, it results the data upon search creteria. each row have a update icon where user can navigates to update page to edit the information. So when user gets back to search page and clicks on clear button of query region and clicks 'GO' the page gets error out. There is nothing written for 'GO' or 'Clear' they are query region components.
And I have question, when user click on clear and than enters some criteria it works fine , if user navigates to update page and comes back clicks 'clear' without entering search criteria and hits 'GO' its erroring out and error message displays the query appended with cleared search criteria's in where clause, saying missing parametrs in or out at index 1

That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.
