ISupport Page Region Mapping table
Hi,
Can someone please point me to the iSupport Page Region Mapping database table?
Finding information from front-end is a little bit of a task.

Setting custom table attribute set value in region item table
Dear all
I am working on oracle application customization and extension in
oracle JDeveloper R12. I am finding a difficulty in an query region of
a OA framework page
My Entity object is on the table FWK_TBX_ADDRESS table
and VO objects has the fields or columns
AddressName, AddreessId, TownC-OrCity
what I am doing shown in the following steps
1-I select region using wizard option
2-select my AM and VO
3-select table as style
4-shuttle all attributes associated with VO
5-in region items table , select the Attribute set field for AddressName attribute and click the serach flashligh icon
6-After that select the browse button , using the package browser , expand down to oracle > apps > fnd> framwork > toolbox > attributesets, then oK
7-select the serach control , and then it list all the attributes set related to fwkTbxEmployees table like the following
/oracle/apps/fnd/framewok/toolbox/attributesset/FwkTbxAddress/AddressName
Now the problem which I am facing now is that if I have custom table suppose "xxEmployees" and have attributes or column
for example employeeId, employee_name, email etc. what would I do to search these attributes when I come to step number 6 which
I mentioned above. from where in which package I can find these attributes to set attributesset value. in above i find these attributes
in /oracle/apps/fnd/framewok/toolbox/attributesset/FwkTbxAddress/AddressName
but in my case for attribute lie employeeId or employee_name from where I can get this how can I set the value of attribute set field in regin item
table in step 5
NomanI dont know what u trying to ask
My problem is just that I want to set the attribute set value of my attribute employee_name, same is AddressId in fwk_tbx_address
ame is AddressId in fwk_tbx_address found on
/oracle/apps/fnd/framewok/toolbox/attributesset/FwkTbxAddress/AddressName
where can I find my attribute employee_name

Updating an existing book, but pages not mapping
Harumph. I am stuck here. Question 1: When I try to update a FM book I get an error message that says that is does not contain a master page maps table. How do I fix this?
Question 2: It also tries to open some of the chapters and the error message reads, unresolved cross references. Do I need to resolve the cross refs by hand?
Thanks in advance for any input.
I will jump over the FAQ in order to do some research on this as well....#1: Uncheck the Apply Master Pages option in the book update window
#2: Yes (Locate them using the Find/Change dialog by searching for
Unresolved Cross References)

OMWB 1.3 hangs while mapping tables from SQLServer 7
I am converting a SQLServer 7 database to Oracle 8.1.7.
As soon as the Oracle model creation process gets to Mapping tables, the OMWB hangs and has to be killed off.
Any help would be appreciated.
Here is the error log.

http://otn.oracle.com/software/tech/migration/workbench/content.html Oracle Migration Workbench Release 2.0.2.0.0 for Windows
This relase of the Migration Workbench was bundled with Oracle9i dependencies, however it will migrate to Oracle 8.1.7.
The hanging issue you are currently getting may concern table names with spaces in them.
If this does not work please send an email to [email protected] and include your error.log.
hope this helps

Determining page region through FacesContext
In 11g, what's the best way of determining which region (jsff) is currently being used ?
In 10g to provide conditional "Requery Condition" I used to use #{facesContext.viewRoot.viewId} on the group to check if the table or the form view was being used. This works fine for standalone pages but not for the new regions. How can I accomplish the same thing ?
The other place I need this functionality is for wizards where I am re-using a detail group between two different wizard pages (regions). On the entry page, the detail group is to be editable but on the summary page the group is to be read only. For this I could of course duplicate the detail group, make one editable and one read only and use different groups on the different pages still pointing to the same data collection. I would rather set the "Update Allowed" property such that I could use the same group in the two different regions.
Many thanks !
Cheers,
BrentBrent,
You can use
#{controllerContext.currentViewPort.viewId}
this will return strings like "/EmployeesTaskFlow/EmployeesTable" for the table page, and "/EmployeesTaskFlow/Employees" for the form page.

DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.CopyEvolve produces ORA-30945: Could not create mapping tabl
Hi,
I am trying to update a XML Schema concerning the documents relaties.xsd (the old one) and relaties_v2.xsd (the new one containing only a minor change).
The document relaties.xsd looks like this:
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xdb="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb"
elementFormDefault="unqualified"
attributeFormDefault="unqualified"
version="1.0">
<xsd:element name="Relatie" xdb:defaultTable="">
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element name="Voornaam" type="xsd:string"/>
<xsd:element name="Achternaam" type="xsd:string"/>
<xsd:element name="Tussenvoegsel" type="xsd:string"/>
<xsd:element name="Geboortedatum" type="xsd:date"/>
<xsd:element name="Geslacht">
<xsd:simpleType>
<xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">
<xsd:enumeration value="M"/>
<xsd:enumeration value="V"/>
</xsd:restriction>
</xsd:simpleType>
</xsd:element>
<xsd:element name="Sofinummer">
<xsd:simpleType>
<xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">
<xsd:pattern value="\d{9}"/>
</xsd:restriction>
</xsd:simpleType>
</xsd:element>
<xsd:element name="Straatnaam" type="xsd:string"/>
<xsd:element name="Huisnummer" type="xsd:string"/>
<xsd:element name="Woonplaats" type="xsd:string"/>
<!--xsd:element name="Postcode" type="xsd:string"/-->
<xsd:element name="Postcode">
<xsd:simpleType>
<xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">
<xsd:pattern value="\d{4} [A-Z]{2}"/>
</xsd:restriction>
</xsd:simpleType>
</xsd:element>
<xsd:element name="Zrn">
<xsd:simpleType>
<xsd:restriction base="xsd:integer">
<xsd:minInclusive value="1000000"/>
<xsd:maxInclusive value="99999999999999"/>
</xsd:restriction>
</xsd:simpleType>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:sequence>
</xsd:complexType>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>
Here are the steps I took.

bfilename('XSDDIR', 'relaties.xsd')
END;
DECLARE

BEGIN

bfilename('XSDDIR', 'relaties_v2.xsd')
END;
BEGIN

'http://localhost:8080/xsd/relaties.xsd',
XDBURIType('/xsd/relaties.xsd').getClob(),

TRUE);
END;
CREATE

XMLSCHEMA "http://localhost:8080/xsd/relaties.xsd"
ELEMENT "Relatie"

TRIGGER upo_rdt_ai
AFTER INSERT ON relatie_documenten
FOR EACH ROW
DECLARE
doc XMLType;
BEGIN
doc := :new.SYS_NC_ROWINFO$;
XMLType.schemaValidate(doc);
END;
Then I inserted some xml documents into the table relatie_documenten. The XSD worked fine.
Then I executed the following statement:
BEGIN
DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.copyEvolve
( schemaURLs => xdb$string_list_t('http://localhost:8080/xsd/relaties.xsd')
, newSchemas => XMLSequenceType(XDBURIType('/xsd/relaties_v2.xsd').getXML())
, preserveOldDocs => TRUE
, mapTabName => 'RELATIE_DOCUMENTEN_TEMP'
, generateTables => FALSE
END;
This resulted in:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-30945: Could not create mapping table 'RELATIE_DOCUMENTEN_TEMP'
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kqludp2], [0x66AB407C], [0], [],

I checked system priviliges as documented in XML DB Developers Guide, Chapter 8 XML Schema Evolution. No other users were connected. The mapping table RELATIE_DOCUMENTEN_TEMP nor any other object named RELATIE_DOCUMENTEN_TEMP did not exist.
Anyone an idea why I cannot create my mapping table ?

How to Create Page Regions of Equal Size
Can someone please help on how I can Create the page regions with equal HEIGHT blocks organized along the x-axis_ - as in the apex IDE tool menu path (and many areas of apex IDE ): "*Administration -> Dashboard -> Users*" tab (apex 4.0 version)
You'll notice that irrespective of the report data contained in each of the region blocks on that page, the height of all the regions are well organized along the horizontal x axis and with same heights (row 2 specifically) :).
I'm having 3 regions on my page with Lists of links. But each region has different number of list-entries, thus my regions are not displaying the same height. I'm using Template 20 and region template as: "Borderless Region". Applying ReportRegiont template also doesn't help.
To summarize, irrespective of the height of the list-entries shown in each of my 3 regions on the page - Display Point: Page Template Body (1) - columns 1,2&3 - ", the surrounding region x-y height should be same - potentially equal to the y-axis height of the region containing the maximum list entries.
Thx in advance,
SVHello SV,
you can fix the height of region by this way..
Edit the region
In Region Header section put
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="1" align="left">
<tr height="350px" width="450px" align="left" valign="top"> //you can set height and width according to you
<td>
In Region Footer section put
</td>
</tr>
</table>
put the above code in all region of your page...this make your all region same height and width.
Hope this will helps you.
Thanks,

Cannot get an Apex HTML region with table with a background image to resize image to fit table
I want to achieve this: Table whith background image but cannot get it to work in an Apex page with HTML region.
Adding the following code to the html region:
<table class="tableWithBackground" width="300px" height="200px" border="1">
<tr>
<td>
<img class="tableBackground" src="#APP_IMAGES#Demo.jpg">
Hello
</td>
<td>
World
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>How are<br><br><br><br><br>you?</td>
<td>I am fine</td>
</tr>
</td>
Results in a page with a table but without borders (at his stage I have not yet uploaded the Demo.jpg). After uploading the Demo.jpg results in a table with the entire image placed in het first cell. After placing the class code in the CSS inline property I expected to see the result as is shown in the Table whith background image demo. For some reason this does not work (the image is no longer visible).
Can anybody tell me how to achieve my goal?
Thanks in advance!

This is a workaround. What's your real goal? Why do you want to do this?
What browser(s)/version(s) are you using? All current browser versions have support for CSS3 background sizing which is the proper way to do this. -
Import conversion data table from SAP R/3 into value mapping table in XI
Hi:
Somebody knows how to import a table with conversion data that are in SAP R/3 and to take it to a value mapping table in XI?
The purpose is to use a mapping table that can change in the future. Must I use a ABAP programming that retrieve data and build the value mapping table?
If so, how I specify in the ABAP programming the group id, the scheme, the agency and the corresponding value?
Please, help me.
Regards!!!Hi David,
please refer to this section in the help: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2a/9d2891cc976549a9ad9f81e9b8db25/content.htm
There is an interface for mass replication of mapping data. The steps you need to carry out to use this are:
+Activities
To implement a value-mapping replication scenario, proceed as follows:
1. Register the Java (inbound) proxies.
To do so, call the following URLs in the following order in your Internet browser:
¡ http://:/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplication&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplication&method=valueMappingReplication (for the asynchronous replication scenario)
¡ http://:/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplicationSynchronous&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplicationSynchronous&method=valueMappingReplicationSynchronous (for the synchronous replication scenario)
You only need to perform this step once (for each installation).
2. Application programming
The ABAP program must perform the following tasks:
¡ Read the value mapping data from the external table
¡ Call the outbound proxy used to transfer the data to a message, which is then sent to the Integration Server
3. Configuration of the replication scenario in the Integration Directory
This involves creating all the configuration objects you need to execute the scenario successfully. One special aspect of the value-mapping replication scenario is that the receiver is predefined (it must be on the Integration Server). The sender, however, is not predefined in the replication scenario and can be defined to meet your individual requirements.
For example, you can use the shipped ABAP proxies.
In the case of the receiver communication channel, choose the adapter type XI. Ensure that you configure a channel for the Java proxy receiver in this case.
Enter the path prefix /MessagingSystem/receive/JPR/XI for this purpose.

How can i add a new regional map component in xcelsius 2008 ?
hi,
we need to add a new regional map component in xcelsius 2008 , how can i do it ?
Where do I find any examples ?
ThanksYou might want to check out the Any Map Component found on the Marketplace: http://www.ondemand.com/information/xcelsius.asp. Then click on Visit the Marketplace to view all add-ons.
This is one of the cool components that the users created using the Xcelsius 2008 Component SDK. -
How do I get to the second page of a table of contents?
I have purchased several books that are long enough that their interactive tables of contents require more than one page. I have not been able to figure out how to get to the second or subsequent pages of the table of contents. Tapping or swiping the right side of the page does not advance the page as it does within the book itself, and it does not scroll down as though it were a long one-page list. Tapping on the table of contents icon again does not advance to the next page either. How do I change pages of a table of contents to select a chapter or book beyond the first page of the contents list? This is not addressed in the User's Manual.
No, sorry.

MDM API to read the Record Key Mapping table
Hi,
Does anybody know what class/method I can use to read the Record Key Mapping table?
For the Business Partner table the Key Mapping table has this columns:
<u>Default / MDM Partner ID / Remote System / Key</u>
I have everything but the Key. How can I read it?
Thanks in advance,
Diego.GetKey Mapping is one of the available Web Services as of SP4.
Else you could use the Java API to get the Key Mapping.
<b>CatalogData class</b> has the following method
<b>GetKeyMapping</b>
public java.lang.String[][] GetKeyMapping(java.lang.String agency,
java.lang.String table,
int[] recordIDs,
boolean isDefaultKeyOnly)
throws StringExceptionRetrieves the key mapping for each record.

Error when trying to create 2 Forms on same page on 2 tables with ID as PK
Hi all,
here's the error message I get: "ORA-20001: Unable to create query and update page. ORA-20001: Unable to create form on table. ORA-20001: Error page=1 item="P1_ID" id="509501514227854745" ORA-20001: Error page=1 item="P1_ID" id="509501514227854745" has same name as existing application-level item. ORA-0000: normal, successful completion"
What am I trying to do:
I try to create 2 forms on the same page, each one based on tables that have PK column named "ID".
From what I understand, HTML DB is trying to create for both forms the same "P1_ID" (P[no_page]_[column_name], right ?) hidden item in order to keep the value of the pk column...
I think this is not right...what do you think ?
Thanks,
AndreiYou cannot use multiple automated row fetch or automated DML processes on the same page where any table column names are in common between them.

Region map creation causes system crash
Hello,
I am new to power map (in 32 bit excel/offfice 2013 professional plus). I have tried to create a region map and get this blue screen error
"pc ran into a problem -something something something - it went to fast,
but i did see "system_service_exception" somewhere in the message
i have windows 8.1 installed,
i don't know what other info to provide, as i haven't had a laptop crash since maybe windows xp.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you
tracySame issue here.
I am trying to draw our U.S. sales territories by Zip code (roughly 30,000 of them); it seems to start out OK, but after only 100-200 or so the PC stalls.
I've received the infamous Blue Screen Of Death too as a result of this (prior to actually seeing the BSOD though the screen will "flicker" a couple times; almost like it does when one goes to change the screen resolution.)
Disabling or enabling hardware graphics acceleration does not appear to have an affect.
My PC is a Lenovo T440P - 2.9GHz i7 - 16GB RAM - WIN7 64 bit
Currently Using Power Map - 16.0.2822.1000 (Not sure if this is the most up to date version, but it's what's on my machine.)<o:p></o:p>
And just in case someone suggests to send feedback via "Send a Smiley"; I've already done so, but immediately received a "Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: [email protected]"
(Even though the original email was sent to "[email protected]")
ANY help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks in advance!! -
Partitioned IOT of Object Type - mapping table not allowed for bitmap index
Hi,
looks like a feature available for standard Partitioned IOTs is not supported for object based tables, namely the MAPPING TABLE construct to support secondary local bitmap indexes.
Can you confirm behaviour is as expected/documented?
If so, is a fix/enhancement to support mapping table for object-based Partitioned IOTs in the pipeline?
Results for partition-wise load using pipelined table function are very good, look-ups across tens of millions of rows are excellent.
Environment = Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

8) A quick test to ensure object table ok...
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('DEF456',500));
SQL> 1 rows inserted.
SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table;
TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
DEF456 500Thanks Dan,
the intention is to range partition based on the initial character, so A* -> Text_Part_A, B* -> Text_Part_B, and so on.
Here's an example, using an empty IOTObj_Table as created previously.
1) Set up & confirm some test data (two 'D's, one 'N', and two 'Z's)
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('DEF456',500));
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('DDD111',510));
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('N3000',515));
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('ZZ1212',520));
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530));
SQL> COMMIT;
SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table;
TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
DDD111 510
DEF456 500
N3000 515
Z111X 530
ZZ1212 520
2) Just to prove our IOT is enforcing the Primary Key based on the TextData attribute, try to insert a duplicate
SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530));
Error starting at line 141 in command:
INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530))
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-00001: unique constraint (OCDataSystems.SYS_IOT_TOP_84235) violated
00001. 00000 - "unique constraint (%s.%s) violated"
*Cause: An UPDATE or INSERT statement attempted to insert a duplicate key.
For Trusted Oracle configured in DBMS MAC mode, you may see
this message if a duplicate entry exists at a different level.
*Action: Either remove the unique restriction or do not insert the key.
3) Now confirm that our data has been slotted into the range-based partition we expect using the PARTITION clause of SELECT...
- The two 'D's...
SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_D);
TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
DDD111 510
DEF456 500
- The single 'N'...
SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_N);
TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
N3000 515
- The two 'Z's...
SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_Z);
TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
Z111X 530
ZZ1212 520
4) And to wrap up confirm an empty partition
SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_W);
