I have read every post regarding this Apple fiasco but this has been a perfect storm of Apple failure for me, the only reason I opened my Itunes last night was because my Ipod of 5 years died and I had to buy a new one, so my love for Apple has diminished greatly in the last 24 hours.
Running: Microsoft windows XP media center edition version 2002 service pack 3.
I know enough about computers to be dangerous, I may have deleted something trying to get this Itunes re-install to work. I've been able to follow everything posted like:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5822688?tstart=30 I have deleted EVERYTHING more than once, restarted more than once, I even tried loading an older version of Itunes, but the problem I'm running into is my sound card can't or won't be detected, it was working fine before this fiasco so I'm not sure if it's the re-install that has caused it to be undetected or maybe it just died at the perfect time. I keep getting this message: I tunes has detected a problem with your aiudio/video configuration and playback may not operate properly. I can see video but no sound, I can get into my Itunes library but nothing will play, my sound card doesn't even show up in my devices section anymore.
I read a post that said something about messing with the msconfig and the inetcpl.cpl and the dxdiag in the START/RUN area so I may have done something stupid.

Most likely, you have a web plugin that depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it. Otherwise, install Java.

To solve the iTunes store problem, I have tried the suggestions suggested by Apple on the website to no avail. Since downloading the last iTunes update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts. It tries to connect to tuning service, but the refreshing catagory list notice never stops and connection is never made. No store connection and no classical radio connection--What will I loose with the next update? I'm not a computer person and don'y know what to do! Help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Just got a new battery. I put it in and computer worked for a few minutes and shut down. I thought okay it needs to charge. Left it charging for three hours and tried turning on my computer and it came on, didn't recognize the battery and then turned off. So I have taken it out so I can type this question and ask for help. Help.

I think that it could be for 2 reasons: or the battery is defectuous or that's a SMC problem.
I guess that your mac is an Intel-based. So try to reset the SMC, it's explained at this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964?viewlocale=en_US.
If it doesn't work, try to update the SMC firmware, but I think that if you could use your old battery it hasn't to be necessary... -
Trying to download OSX Lion combo plus iTunes update.taking 11 hours so ar.i am using wifi and am also plugged in to a power source.My Probook is a year old and has Lion.
What happens is that the weaker the battery, the less time it takes it to charge (and run down) because it doesn't take long to reach its lowered maximum capacity.
Although I never worry about my battery and leave my portables plugged in most of the time, that isn't necessarily the best thing for the battery.

almost tried everything....reinstalling ....32 bit 64 bit.. itunes. msconfig. antivirus disabling.... full antiviurs scan, installing on different computers.. using a different network....netshell command and what not.....dns flush....everything static dns...what and what not ....still problem is persisting ...can anyone help please....internet is working absolutely fine...checked everything else everything is good...but itunes cant even backup my device (((( feeling sorry for myself..

"Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications" comes almost in every app that I open and it does not notify me when I got message in Whatsapp and Viber. Please help me to overcome it, it is becoming quite annoying!
Did you get any help on this? From what I can see from surfing this site, it's a BUG that no one has offered a solution to. It sometimes happens after a 'reset' and going to ITunes does not offer a way to 'set up push notifications'.

But in the process seems to have duplicated the iTunes library - How do I get rid of one. The start up disk is almost full and plus it doesn't synch properly with my iPhone 4S. Please help!

You should run repair disk from your software install DVD before you try anything else. The crash may have damaged some of your directories - and a possible cause of the "missing/not missing" tunes.

Can you please help me. I purchased the new Apple I 4s phone from AT&T. I bought it out right. NO CONTRACT!! I paid almost $1000.00 for it. I then, had it enrolled it in my company's ATT service plan. They paid the bill for my service. Since, I have left the company. I have retained, and assumed financial responsibility for the phone, and the phone number with AT&T. The same day I assumed ifinancial responsibility, I had the phone number ported to a new service provider. ( Straight Talk ) After doing so, my phone worked fine. (as far as cellular service) NO DATA Service !!!! I have been on the phone with AT&T, Straight Talk, and Apple, FOR HOURS over TWO days!!! Trying to get this problem resolved. All I need to do, is change my APN settings (access point name ) settings. Its my phone!!! Why does any body have this APN menu locked from me??? I've been on the phone for two days between, AT&T, Straight Talk, and Apple products technical support teams. Everybody points the finger at the next guy!! What can I do to get the phone, that I paid for, work for more than just a phone, and a paper weigh?

Startup disk almost full on brand new laptop - Impossible - Help!
I bought my MacBook Air about a month ago. I have not dowloaded any movies, music, or apps. I have a couple thousand photos stored on the laptop and microsoft office- that is ALL. I am receiving an error message saying my startup disk is almost full. There is absolutely NO WAY this is possible. It is practically a brand new and unused laptop. However, I did initially use "Mail" as my inbox for several email accounts. I took all my accounts offline as "Mail" moved all my emails on all my accounts into the archives folders. Now even when I log into gmail from a web browser, all my inbox and sent messages are located in the archives folders.
My question is:
1- How do I make more room on my startup disk space, as this is clearly an error.
2- How do I recover my emails from my archive folders?

To delete files from your external HDD, attach it to your MBP and drag the unwanted files to trash and then empty trash.
Then you select the files that you want to transfer by 'drag and drop' to the external HDD and trash the files on your MBP.

A few days later when i bought the system, i made a partition for bootcamp but dint have the Windows 7 cd yet so i waited.
No finnaly when i got the CD. Bootcamp *** keeps saying that there is no Formated disc for Bootcamp to install and, i did like almost everything i reinstalled my mac almost 3 times and still no luck. I wanted to delete the extra partition because i tought it never was going to work, not that is also not abble thru mac installations..
My question is what do i have to do? i bought this windows 7 for 400 euros almost and still have no windows on the device.

I printed from my mac just fine and then I went to print a spreadsheet and the printer looks and sounds like its printing but there is nothing there. I tried different things and have established that my printers are fine. The problem seems to be on
