Item.getName() still has bug?

Question

you know the upload library method item.getname had bugs before?
bug was this method was getting the full path of the uploaded file...i know it was fixed...
i think i am using the latest libraries...on my project i have tried many times and tested to some people...2 person's filenames uploaded correct as only the picture name...but the exception person's pictures uploaded as c:/my pictures/xxx.jpg
my codes are very simple that has no error but the item.getname function has problems ?what you think

You need to extract only the filename portion from item.getName(). I seem to recall that this code works:
public String basename(String fn) {
    String fileName = fn
    File f = new File(fileName);
    String par = f.getParent()
    if (par != null)
        fileName = fn.replaceFirst(par, "")
    return fileName;
