Item on witch a sort in done ?

Hi!
Is it possible to have the item name corresponding to a sort in a report, I meen when a user order a report by
item1, I need to know that is item1 not another item,
I have to use the same order in another page.

Can items in legend be sorted?

I've noticed that if dates are in the legend that they are not in any type of order. I've looked thru the chart options but did not see any option that would allow me to sort the items in the legend, dates or text. Can the entries in the legend be sorted?

Hello Tracy,
I think the field which you are using in 'on change of' is not a date field. Try to select the date field in 'On Change of' and click on Order button and select 'for each month' under 'the selection will be printed' and sort order should be ascending order.

Copy multiple items from ical alters sorting order

I use OSX leopard with iCal 3.0.1. I would like to select multiple items and copy-paste them into a text document or spreadsheet. I use iCal to keep track of people's working hours and I need to send the hours to salary admin at the end of each month.
Using the "search" option within iCal, I can select all item concerning the working hours of, let's say, "George". If I copy-paste them into another application (Word, Mail, Numbers, Excel) the sorting order of the items altered. It looks like a rather random order. I want to have it ordered by date opbviously! Does anyone recognize this problem?

Numbers 09 will not save after a sort is done

After I sort/reorganize I no longer can save the document. An error comes up says "The document XXXXX could not be saved". I've tried to save in other folders, export, tried to cut and paste to a new worksheet, everything I can think of. Nothing seems to work. I can undo the sort and it will save again.

I suggest starting with the document where you can save. Duplicate the document to another one.
Now repeat your sort/save test. So long as you cannot save undo and remove a portion of the items that are left in the document. If all you have is a table, then remove half of the table and repeat until you can determine what the problem item is.

Changing Header/Item condition after billing has been done

Hi,
I have an issue in which the sales order is incomplete but invoicing has been done. On seeing the change log I found that new condition type has been added after generation of invoice.
Now the user wants that entire header/item condition screen should be greyed out after creation of billing document. can it be done through config or user exit is the way,

Hi,
There is no mechanism to find out if the billing document has been created and sales order will allow changes to pricing even after creation of invoice.
The point is that, it doesnt matter if the sales order is changed after the invoice has been created, since the values from SO has gone into billing.
However, if you still wish to lock changes to order once it is billed, kindly refer to some userexit like MV45AFZZ which works during sales order processing and you may get the billing status from VBUK and VBUP tables.

HT1725 How do I delete items ready to download if I don't want them?

I have 37 items ready to download. How do I delete them if I don't want them to download?

I did get a response via email from Support, and if it makes you feel any better, the Apple guy said he had the same problem himself with his downloads! He said he had passed his complaint "up the line" and suggested I fill out the form on the Feedback site. Maybe eventually they'll change it!

Items outside of Document Setup size don't appear in PDF

I have a document which I'm saving as a PDF with Preserve Illustrator Editing Capability selected. When I open this PDF in Acrobat critical elements just outside of the Document Setup size are not showing up. These are critical for the production but unless they are physically touching the Document Setup boundary they disappear from the PDF. How can I get these marks and other elements to stay in the PDF side of the document without increasing the document size?

Can you post a screen shot I am not certain I understand what you man by essential objects?
Here I just duplicated the art board and put some extra text on the second artboard and all the marks were on the first and second page of the pdf.
I don't say you don't have a good point but what I think they should have is a feature like ID but that can be included in the pdf which is a library
similar to the symbols panel that you could perhaps access fro acrobat for placement but what one can do is to put essential content on a layer and turn it off and export as a pdf as 1.8 acrobat compatible and when opened in Acrobat you can access that content in Acrobat by turning on the layer.

Popin in the table diappears when sorting is done

I have an unusual problem here. I have a table with popins for every row. I have also implemented the sorting functionality for the table. But when the table is sorted, the popins in the table ( the data in those popins which is actually an entire table in the popin disappears ) disappear. Cannot figure out the reason and need your help.

These internal parameters control the maximum amount of memory that can by used a single process (_pga_max_size), a serial operation resp. "workarea" (_smm_max_size) and the maximum memory available for the operation of a parallel slave in a parallel operation (_smm_px_max_size).
There is a significant difference between 10.2 and previous Oracle releases regarding these internal parameters:
In pre-10.2 databases pgamax_size defaults to 200M, and smmmax_size is the least of 5% of PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET and 50% of pgamax_size, and 100M (if you set pgamax_size larger than the default value). The smmpx_max_size is 30% of PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET and is divided by the parallel degree of the parallel operation to determine the upper limit of a workarea size of a single parallel slave together with smmmax_size.
In 10.2 the upper limits are driven by the smmmax_size which is derived from PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET and can be larger than 100M if you have a PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET greater than 1GB. The pgamax_size is then two times smmmax_size.
So in pre-10.2 databases the default maximum size of a single sort is 100M, provided you've set PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET set to 2GB or greater, but a single process - that could have multiple workareas or sorts simultaneously - is not allowed to allocate more than 200MB in total.
In 10.2 and later you can have more than 100M for a single sort if you set your PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET larger than 1GB, and a process can consume more than 200M in that case, too.

The amount of memory that remains after subtracting the non-tunable memory allocated from the PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET and the number and size of concurrent tunable workareas determine the amount of memory available for newly established workareas, so that Oracle tries to do its best to allocate the available memory to all current workareas while at the same time attempts to stay below the PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET. Obviously if many workareas are active concurrently the amount of memory available for each workarea will be less than the upper limits outlined above, down to a lower limit which is defined by the internal parameter smm_min_size (the greatest of 128k and 0.1% of PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET).
Given these constraints it is possible that Oracle consumes more than the PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET, eg. if the non-tunable part already takes a significant part of the PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET. You can see this e.g. in V$PGASTAT if the "over allocation count" statistic value is > 0.
The cost based optimizer also uses the information derived from PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET to calculate the cost of a sort resp. to estimate whether a sort will be in-memory or has to spill to disk.
There are various views available that allow you to monitor the workarea information, among them are V$PGASTAT for an overall information regarding the PGA consumption, V$PGA_TARGET_ADVICE, V$PGA_TARGET_ADVICE_HISTOGRAM and V$SQL_WORKAREA_HISTOGRAM, V$SQL_WORKAREA_ACTIVE and V$SQL_WORKAREA for monitoring individual workareas.

Facebook timed out while writing a post. Any attempt to open FB, now shows post that was in progress and immediately crashes app. Cannot clear timed out item. Have power failed and done warm reboot on iPad.   Is Delete/Reinstall only option?

Was writing post, as part of sharing article from my newsfeed.   While writing, Facebook timed out. Display cleared. App recycled and returned to newsfeed. This has happened previously and for all purposes, the original post, since it had never been "loaded" onto FB servers effectively was deleted from iPad memory. That appeared to be the case yesterday; as I was able to continue reading, sharing and commenting on other articles.
Later, as I was shutting iPad down for the night, scrolled through open Apps and discovered the original FB window was still "open" I'd apparently been working on a 2nd or mirror version of the app. Attempting to access the original page; it opens, but I am unable to "interact" with the display/app, pressing "cancel" on my original post has no effect. Within 5-6 seconds FB crashes.
I power failed the iPad, left it over night and today am encountering the same problem.   Tapping FB icon, brings up the post that was timed out. It displays for 2-3 seconds max, then original article and partial post disappear. Newsfeed appears to be loading as that and contact columns are visible in light font indicating they are preparing to load.   2-3 seconds, that vanishes. Am left with blue header band, spinning wheel indicating it is trying to communicate or process something.   2-3 seconds and then screen goes black and I'm returned to my app desktop.
If I immediately tap icon to reopen I get white screen, with blue header band.   2-3 seconds, black screen, back to app desktop.   If I wait 2 minutes, I get the full shared article, partial post as described above. I've confirmed in the problem log that this is failing in Thread 0 and showing up as system crash.
Based on feedback to somewhat similar FB problem I found in forum; in addition to doing power fail. I also did warm reboot (Home and Sleep keys) in hope app would reboot along with ios. No change.
At this point, I'm assuming my only viable option is to delete the app and reinstall it from App Store. Easy enough to accomplish. But wanted to see if there were any other recommendations, or whether anyone else has experienced a similar failure with FaceBook.

Margin windows or ads won't load and only say there's no network connection. ran a connectivity scan but nothing was found. I figure its a setting of sorts but don't know which one or how to fix

When I go to my home page or various web pages there are ads link boxes that never load a picture or anything. They just have a notice that the page could not be loaded. usually it says it can't connect to the internet and to check internet connectivity. when I do it runs a scan that comes back saying there were no connectivity issues.
