ITunes 7.3.1.3 skips with Firefox Please Help!

Dell P4, Win XP SP2, 1 GB DDR SDRAM
Hi all, I am using the latest version of FF 2.0.0.6 and I just upgraded to the latest version of iTunes 7.3.1.3 and am having a skipping problem. There seems to be a compatibility issue with FF and iTunes v.7, as I do not experience the problem when I tested with Safari and IE 7. Anyone have any ideas, I like the new version of iTunes, but not at the expense of having issues.
Additionally I wanted to note that the problem only occurs with iTunes v.7, I was using version 6 before and everything worked fine. I know that I can just downgrade back to v.6 but I would like to keep the new iTunes, any ideas?
PS: I checked the FF forums and no one was able to solve the problem.

for me to say what else may be conflicting.
Other than that, your choices are either Uninstall 3.6.10 and Install a version that wasn't giving you a problem. You could Install the FF beta.
Mozilla has a list of many extensions that conflict with FF if you want that link to look over. One of the other links has to do with other issues that may be helpful.
Let me know and I'll post those to you.

I am trying to load some of my games on fb it loads then the contents fades away and there is a grey box that says movie not loaded. and Adobe FLash 10. This has been happening for at least a week. I have being pulling my hair out trying to fix it. So I need your help. I have read some of the threads and none seems to work. Here is some info abot my computer

Installed is flash 10.182.76 I do see the animation so I know it's installed correctly . Please help I will greatly appreciate it

Flash player 10 Not working with firefox Please Help

I have posted here before and for some reason flash player is still not working. I haven't been able to get on any of my fb games because of this. When I go to
play any games it loads the pic then it fades to a white screen, when Ieft click on the mouse it shows a grey box that states Movie not loaded or Adobe flash player 10.

I don't know how or why, but things are working again for me. I uninstalled
/ reinstalled Firefox and Flash countless times. I disabled Java, which
someone had suggested in another thread. Nothing was working. I had
restarted Firefox after every installation, but all of my attempts were
futile. Finally, I restarted my laptop and it worked - I can finally watch
videos on my computer again. (I know I should have tried that much earlier
in the process.) Very relieving to say the least. I'm sorry you're still
having trouble because I know how frustrating it was.
If you receive this, I know I haven't offered much but I would highly
recommend restarting your computer after every change you make. Keep
plugging away and one of them will hopefully work. Good luck!

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
With SilverLight, Microsoft attempted to create their own version of what a replacement for Flash could be - but not to universal acclaim. You can read more about it here:

So, if you go to any sites that have been designed for this new Silverlight stuff, you can download the plug-in from here (but make certain that you are downloading SilverLight v.1.0 for OS X (10.4.8 upwards) if you are using a PPC Mac, but even this will not work with Safari 4. Drop Shadows on my frame are not showing up with iweb 2.04 and firefox please help!
They show up with safari but not firefox. I've read that publishing to mobile me solves it but I publish to my hard drive and ftp to my host (not mobile me).

Drop shadows, borders etc are a bad idea in that they increase the file size and the download time of your page.
Create your image, drop shadow etc on your iWeb page, take a screenshot, crop it and replace the original image with the, much reduced, JPEG>

With your iPod connected to your computer and iTunes running, select your iPod form the left pane, click the File menu in top bar, from there select "transfer purchases from iPod"

- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
Otherwise what server are you talking about
