Itunes closed after iphone restore and now wont open..what to do???

i was having some problems out of my iphone and had no choice but to do a "system restore" on my iphone 3G. As soon as the restore was done itunes closed and now it will not open. i have tried shuttin down and restarting my computer. I dont want to uninstall itunes because when my iphone restored it erased everything out of my phone and i need to put contacts pictures etc. back onto my phone because thats where i backed it up at!!! someone please help me!!! what do i do?!

You have run into Activation Lock, a security feature of iOS 7 designed to prevent activation of lost and stolen iPads. there is no way around Activation Lock. You need to know the Apple ID and password used to set up the iPad originally.

Ipad keeps restarting/resetting. restored and now wont even activate

Today my ipad suddently started restarting/resetting every few minutes. I did a restore to factory settings and now it wont activate and continues to restart. Is there anything else to try other than bringing it in?

If you can't restore, the next step is to go into recovery mode as described here.
Note you may have to try to get into recovery mode more than once for it to succeed.

IPhoto updated after a restore and now I am missing photos and cannot further update iPhoto

I needed to restore my iMac after the hard drive crashed. I use TimeMachine and the restore process went OK. However, when I restored I noticed I had a new version of iPhoto. I previously had a really old version and now I had iPhoto 11. It appears that I have been updated to iLife 11. All was good, but I soon started to notice some issues:
(1) Some photos are not displaying in iPhoto. Basically there is just a dotted square where the photo should be. The meta-data is present (e.g. camera details, etc..) but when I select the "Reveal in Finder" menu option, I get "The operation can't be completed becasue the item can't be found". Note that this is only for a small % of my photos. The large majority are OK.
(2) I am unable to update the iLife apps in the App store. I receive the following message if I try to download an update: “You have updates available for other accounts…” I have only ever had 1 account.
Help appreciated.
I am running OSX v10.8.3 on a 2.8GHx Intel Core I7 27inch iMac.

You may accidentally have created a second account.
How exactly did you restore your iMac after the hard drive crashed? Did the store, that replaced the drive, install MacOS for you and you used Migration Assistant to restore from Time Machine afterwards, or did you reinstall Mt. Lion yourself and used the Setup Assistant to restore your mac from Time Machine, or did you restore manually?
If the Store set up your mac and you migrated later, any new installed iLife apps may be tied to a different AppleID or no AppleID at all. Did you already sign into the AppStore with your AppleID (from the "Store > Sign In" menu)? Check, if the new version of iPhoto needs to be accepted to your Apple ID - in this case it will be in the "Accept" panel of the "Purchased" tab. If available, press "Accept".
Did you buy your Mac second hand? Then the preinstalled iLife apps may be tied to the AppleID of the previous owner. In that case contact Apple Support.

Once the update problem is solved, I'd try to rebuild the iPhoto library.

ONLY the carrier to which it is locked can unlock it.
No one else at all.
Any other method is a hack and will result in what has happened in your case.

Updated 4S to iOS 7 and before "set up" it requires passcode, but neither passcode nor SIM code work.
Before Update I did an unecrypted backup of the iphone.
I can't use any restore tipps: restore button in itunes says that I need to disable "find my iphone"

Cs4 crashed and now wont open

before i get my head bit off for being in wrong forum...i feel i am lucky to get this far...
whilst running batch from within cs4, my computer hung and i was forced to hold the power button as i could not force quit nor close any open programme...after restarting, cs4 bridge wont open, just comes up with open/retry/report...i have un-installed the whole programme and reinstalled but still the same...something must be corrupt, what and where are the big questions and how to find it, delete it, or repair it...oh sure i can live without bridge, but i would rather fix the problem...help please

Probably already the case but be sure to have quit Bridge,
go to the user Library and in the preferences folder find both the plist files for Bridge 3 and for:
com.adobe.bridge2.plist (Bridge CS3)
com.adobe.bridge3.plist (Bridge CS4)
Both these files need to be manually removed to the trash (they rebuild it self with a new fresh file after restarting Bridge again)
Also go in the same (user) library to the caches folder and find Adobe / Bridge CS4 . In here delete both files (Adobe Bridge Plug-in Cache and Cachefolder) manual to the trash. If you have removed CS3 also do this for this version. Both deleted files will refresh itself with a new empty file after restart. (Note!: With this action you will loose all your previous cache information and have to recache your folders again, if you have not done so before it is no problem, otherwise it can take you some time...)
Restart Bridge again holding down option key to refresh preferences (only this option should do) again. Now reset the prefs to your wishes and restart Bridge again.
Also be sure that Bridge as well as Indesign are installed in the application folder at your root system.

Purchased a free app used once and updated it and now wont open

Purchased a free app called coupgon. Used it once then updated it and now I can't open it. It opens on my husbands phone. Connected to ITunes hoping by resyning my phone it would correct the problem but that didn't work either.

I have PS6 and now wont open due to trial expired?

I have PS6, adobe Application Manager kicked in with Photoshop Extended Trial and now it says the trial is expired and need to purchase the software to continue using PS6 extended.. but I just want to use my PS6!

Since you already have tried the free trial version, the only way to continue using PS6 extended is to buy it.
OR, if you want to go for a cheaper solution, you can get CS2 off of the Adobe website for free. Its a bit old, so it won't run on the newest operating system unless you can emulate the old system.

If you are saying that you bought PS6 but the trial for PS6 extended isn't letting you fire it up, call Adobe directly and they'll tell you how to clear up the issue. Its usually a permissions things or a copy of a file saved somewhere that they can tell you where to go, meanwhile they know you're not a scammer because you will have proved that you own a legitimate copy of PS6.

I now get this message: "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" So, I click yes and it can't seem to be found. I log into my apple account and download all my past purchases again. This fixes a few of the songs, however songs I downloaded from CDs years ago are now not available to me and some purchases from years past via my previous imac. I was told by several Apple Geniuses that my Time Machine would back everything up, and it seems that it has. I restored them, I guess because they show in my library. Only this time they have exc!amation points and say the files can't be found?! How are they listed but not there? Ugh! Did I put the files somewhere I shouldn't have? I guess it's entirely possible that I don't know where they were supposed to be. I don't have these CDs anymore. iTunes and my iPod have made moving them obsolete so I got rid of them. Please don't suggest I download the CDs again because that is an impossibility. I do however need some direction on what I may have possibly done wrong. I'm super frustrated. I tried again just yesterday and can't find where the original files were restored so I can restore from the proper place.

ok so here is the problem ! i got on itunes to put my new CD in and it didnt reconize my ipod so i had to restore it ! once it was done restoring i wanted to put all of my music back on it and everything else so i tried to sync it and i just kept saying that it has failed to start syncing and im like oh my gosh ! will someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Itunes messed up my restore and now doesn't see my ipod. What should I do?

I performed a restore on my Ipod Touch (bought new a couple of years back) and itunes tells me there was an error and the restore could not be completed. Nice that it still manage to delete all my information, contacts and goodness knows what else (I chose to backup my files using the itunes function), btw.
Anyways, now my ipod just has the "connect to itunes" picture. My PC doesn't recognise my ipod, apart from Apple Mobile Device under USB controllers in the Device Manager, and itunes doesn't see or try to do anything with my pod so that I can use it.
I've tried this solution http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 but that didn't help and I reinstalled itunes and Apple Mobile Device Support, but to no avail.
What should I do? I'm using Windows 7 HP x64.

Put it in DFU mode.
It's a common thing among jailbreakers. No one else really needs it, but it should allow your iPod to take the official firmware of your choice.
Here is a copy from a jailbreak help guide I will not link.
Please note that this will not jailbreak your device, so back off, moderators.
Method (1)
* Attach the phone to the pc
* Turn the phone off
* Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds
* Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
* At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.
