ITunes not giving FULL list of Calendars/Contacts in "Info" tab

I have updated to the most current version of iTunes 7.7(43).
I have restored the new 3G iPhone's software.
When attempting to SYNC the phone, in the "INFO" tab in iTunes "Contacts" and "Calendars" are present, but only indicated "Your contacts/calendars are being pushed to your iPhone over the air from MobileMe".
Neither Contacts nor Calendars LIST the various groups/calendars such as is pictured in Step 2 here: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/setup/iphone/mac.html
Any ideas on what's going wrong?

I am having the exact same problem. My configuration is iPhone 3GS, Windows Vista and iTunes 10.4.1.10. I see you have been waiting for a solution for almost two weeks. I have been looking for a solution to this problem for many days now also without success. I think it is real charming that Apple now is one of the most valuable companies in the world, but they expect their customers to flounder around in support forums trying to fix Apple's screwed up software or pay them to notify them of defects in their software. I may not abandon my iPhone because I really don't have an option to switch right now, but with this kind of service, there is no chance I will subject myself to the same type of customer abandonment with other Apple products. Not a smart business strategy Apple.

Itunes 9.2: can´t sync calendar, contacts, notes...

Hi all,
sorry for my bad english. I´m from germany.
since the itunes 9.2 update my contacts, calendar, notes and bookmarks (the hole tab, its called "Info" in german itunes) wont sync with my iphone 3G (iOS 4.0) and iPod Touch 1G (3.1.3). Other media like music, books, videos etc. working fine.
Theres no error message or something like that. After syncing the checkboxes to overwrite contacts etc. on iphone/ipod are still checked. Before 9.2 they get unchecked after syncing.
the mdcrashreporter.exe appears for a short time in taskmanager.
its no problem with outlook because windows contacts wont sync too.
Tried everything...
- reinstall itunes and all other apple products
- reinstall office (outlook)
- export/import new calendar, contacts, etc. from/to outlook
- new outlook storage file
- new calendar, contacts, etc.
- sync without option to overwrite data on iphone
- hard/soft reset iphone
- restore iphone (with and without backup)
- sync only contacts (without music, videos, bookmarks etc)
- sync all

no other device-backups in itunes so I need to sync with outlook or windows contacts. a phone without contacts is useless...more than one week after this ** itunes update theres still no fix
need help please. I read all the other posts here but nothing fixed my problem. someone out there with an idea?

Cannot see full list of calendars in Calendar

Not sure when this started happening, but the list of my calendars (home, work, subscriptions to holidays and other event calendars, etc) is being partly blocked by the little mini-months at the left of the Calendar window. I can't scroll down to show the full list, and can't find a setting to turn off the little mini-calendars in the sidebar. They don't go away if I switch from between day/week/month/year views on the main calendar. Here's a screenshot of the problem: there should be several more calendars subscribed to below 'US Holidays', and I can't see them. Can I make those calendars go away?

Knew there had to be something dead simple like that. Naturally you can't see the divider until you know there should be one (you told me there is) and you have the cursor in exactly the right place to make it draggable. Thanks!

Build Team from PWA does not shows full list of users

When building team in PWA, only few users show up in the list. If going first to Resource Plan, then Build Team, the full list shows up. Is it the right way to build team or there is something missing here. The case is with the administrator also. Thanks

Hi Dolly,
If I understand well, you are seeing the complete enterprise resource pool when you create the team from the resource plan, but not from the project team (in schedule PWA page)?
Ensure that you don't have any filters applying.
Also the view applied can contain a filter in this definition (server settings, manage view, then check for the concerned view)
Finally, depending on the version you have, you might have used the department feature, that might automatically filter on resources based on the department configuration versus resources.

Hierarchy Node Variable is not displaying full list of Hierarchy

Hi,
I loaded Hierarchy to an info object using flat file.
When i created a test reports and settings to display of MAster Data of Char and executed the report
The output displays full list of Hierarchy
Now to have a User Entry on Hierarchy ...created a Hierarchy Node variable and executed the value help of Hierarchy Node variable is not displaying fill list of Hierarchy ...its only displaying first 15 entries in Hierarchy.
I changed the settings of variable...etc but couldn't get the Hierarchy full list in User entry selection
How can i fix it...

If anyone has the same problem, I think I found the reason when transported to production.
BW7.3 (at least) can not show the hierarchy nodes if there is no transactional data loaded.
So do your hierarchies only after the data has been loaded..

Printing Notes/To-do lists aside calendars

Is there any way to print either notes or a to-do list aside a monthly calendar on iCal?

I think you can go to your preferences in ical - select advanced - then you can check HIDE completed items after "X" # of days or you can check DELETE completed items after "X" # of days. This has fixed the issue for me but i find it takes a few days for the check items to come off the printed list.
HAS ANYONE FIGURED OUT how to set the print order of your TASKS. I can sort them on the desktop on the computer but when I print them they are all over the place and I cannot find anywhere that allows it to print in the same order as it is displayed - if they allow you to sort it into an order why can't it print in this order?
Any help would be appreciated.

A music album is listed multiple times in my library but each listing only has a few songs in it-not the full listing. How can I combine them into one album and get rid of other duplicate listings?

Also, this is my first foray into online chat rooms so I have a lot to learn to precisely state my issue! I did as you suggested and all the songs list the same album when I go into each song's "get info". However, I am not sure how to edit as you suggested. When I downloaded this album originally, for some reason it broke up into several albums each with different songs from the original album. I am trying to consolidate them back into one album in my library. I would greatly appreciate further assistance if you can. Also, I do not use "the cloud" to store any data and would like a good source of info on how to do this. Thanks so much for your patience!

ITunes not playing full songs before going to the next

Like, I have a song here that is 5:49 minutes long. It plays until 3:21 then suddenly skips to the next. This has been happenning to a lot of the songs on my library - not the ones I added a long time ago, but the ones I've added recently. I first noticed it when I added the Homestuck albums I purchased from the Homestuck bandcamp page. First I thought there was something wrong with the files, then I noticed it was happening to all other songs I'd recently added to my library as well (also, none of the other people purchasing the albums seemed to have this issue).
Some cases are different than others. In some songs, it really only plays till a certain point and then skips to the next; no matter what I do, I can't access the rest of the song at all. For others, it plays until a certain point and then stops, and if I manually skip a few seconds ahead, I manage to get it to play the rest. Some songs have the issue on both my computer and my iPod, others don't work on iTunes but for some reason work on my iPod.
When I first started getting this issue, my iTunes wasn't in the latest version, so I thought maybe if I updated and installed the most recent version it would fix the issues, but there was no change.
I also tried converting the MP3's to AAC through iTunes, and the result is that it cuts off the final part of the song. For an instance, that 5:49 minute song that only played till 3:21 results in a 3:21 AAC file.
The songs play fine on other media players.
I've searched for other people with this problem, and only found people who have an issue on their iPhone but the songs work on their computer. I have an issue on both my computer and my iPod. I really want to solve this because it's seriously annoying.

This same thing is happening to my library while playing on my MacBook. The files are NOT currupt and play fine in QuickTime player.

Spotify says "problem with soundcard", also itunes not giving sound. youtube is giving sound.

Spotify is saying "problem with soundcard" also no sound from iTunes, however, youtube has sound as does the laptop for facebook pings......any suggestions please?

Can you let me know what specific model laptop you are using? Also let me know what operating system you are currently working. Try using Spotify with headphones to see if you are able to hear sound. To me this sounds like an installation issue. I would go ahead and completely uninstall Spotify and then reinstall it since this issues does not occur using the web browser. Do you have sound in any other applications?

File upload not giving full path name

I am not getting the full path name when uploading a file to the newer Netscape
7 (using WLS 7.x on a Unix platform). It worked fine under Netscape 4.x.
E.g. If I want to upload the file:
/myfiles/uploads/ThisOne.txt
only ‘ThisOne.txt’ get returned under Netscape 4.x I would get ‘/myfiles/uploads/ThisOne.txt’

I have an ipod shuffle. I am trying to place songs on my ipod from a computer at work (Mac G5) instead of my home computer (Windows XP). Despite following the instructions to set itunes to manually manage my songs, it never lets me get far enough to set the ipod to manually manage in the first place. When inserting the ipod into a usb a window pops up stating my ipod is "synced with another library and if I want to erase and sync" (duh). At this point, according to the instructions on apple.com I am to "Click the iPod button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window." However there IS NO ipod button in the bottom right corner to click in itunes. Also, In the pop up window asking wether I want to sync it gives me two buttons: 1. cancel or 2. erase and sync. If I hit "cancel" the ipod never shows up in itunes at all, so I can't select it and change to manual. I don't want to click "erase" for obvious reasons. As long as this pop up window is open I can't do anything in itunes unless I choose one of the two. And when I hold down my option and apple keys to try and bypass this pop up and set ipod to manual (also as per apple instructions) nothing happens. No pop up, no ipod in menu on the right in itunes and no ipod button in the lower right. It's as if ipod doesn't exist. Using itunes 7 and software has been updated. Ipod works just fine at home on the pc(windows XP). I can't be the only one having this problem.

There is no manual mode on a Shuffle. You can't load music from multiple computers or iTunes libraries onto iPod Shuffle like you can with other iPods: iPod Shuffle FAQ

F 12 NOT GIVING FULL SCREEN VIEW.

View external video all frames, used to give me instant full screen view of image in FCP...won't do it now.
Also ??? why are some of my sequence setting differing within one project???
Have one with 1280 720 29fps apple pro res and then another with different frame rate 59fps with apple intermediate codec.
Can one take fooatge from one seq. and take another seq that doesn't match, and make a new seq. and give it the same settings.....Obviously i have messed up somewhere, new camera and all???

Itunes not syncing full movie

Hi,
I have imported a movie converted from DVD into Itunes, but when itunes syncs the movie onto my Ipod Classic,it only does half of the movie. I have checked that the whole movie has been successfully imported,it has. I have tried syncing it twice now and the same thing happens, only half of the movie.
Can anybody please help me out with this one.

You would need to use a special program. I don't know of any specifics, but some sort of video editing application should do the trick. Search around for "video editing" or "video split" or something like that.
