Ive tried everything and i cannot download ios 7! everytime i do it over itunes it comes up with the 1349 error message or something and i fixed that and it still comes up with errors, also if i try it on my iphone it says im not connected to the internet
i am connected to the internet when i start the download and at no point do i get disconnected? ive tried using my friends wifi's too and the same happens? HELP!

Here's an answer from the net:
Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars/Add account choose other, choose Add Mail Account. Fill in name, email address, password and description on the screen that comes up. Save those.
One the next screen tat comes up click om POP in the first line then fil in the host name as
spop.west.cox.net or spop.east.cox.net or the one to go with your region.
Note that is not a misprint, that is spop (secure pop)
Fill in your username one more time (the password should have carried over from previously)
Fill in your outgoing mail server like smtp.west.cox.net (change for your region) and click Save.
When all the settings are verified a checkmark will appear next to them all and you are good to go.
If it says something like "can't connect via SSL would you like to ..." then you probably missed the step about selecting POP on the second screen and are trying IMAP so go back and try over with POP. Or perhaps mistyped soemthing.
Once everything is working you can go back into the settings and see that it has automatically connected on port 995 and that SSL is on
Note that you probably won't be able to send email from a wifi in a cafe or similar as cox won't let you connect to their smtp from outside their network.
I haven't tried receiving mail from a non cox connected wifi yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Anyway these settings work for me using my ipod to my home wifi router connected to cox.
I could not find a definitive guide when I searched so I hope this helps other folks trying to configure this.

Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore and you have IOS-6 or lower, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. If you have IOS-7, read this. -

Hi Chris thanks for the reply , my iMessage was working until I listened to voda domes instructions to do a network reset now it's says waiting for activation , I have reset the phone I have a SIM card change as Vodafone thought my SIM card was faulty and took the phone back to the shop and changed it for a new one , I've been on many forum sites and a lot of people are having the same problem as I can send a txt message bit can't receive them Andy account is set up correctly on vodafones side ... My Ipod is frozen!!! My IPhone won't turn on! Ive tried everything and nothing works!
My phone was acting very slow last night, and kind of unresponsive. Then the screen turned white and froze. So I tried to restart it by holding down the home/sleep button at the same time, because this usually works. But this time it didnt. My phone wont turn back on now. Ive tried plugging it in just incase it was the battery, and still nothing.. Ive tried plugging it into Itunes, thinking Itunes would pick it up.. still nothing.. I am trying to avoid going to the apple store, so if anyone knows any kind of troubleshooting i might be able to do myself, it would be very apreciated.. thanks..

My phone stopped syncing a couple of months ago, but ive used the computer to charge it. Last time i used the computer to charge it was 2 weeks ago. This past week i tried to use the computer to sync it with the new IOS5, but now the computer doesnt even recognize it. Ive tried to re-install itunes, use a different cord and different computers. I know your case well. It comes with the Antec SL350, which has enough power for your system.
I would try different RAM just to see if you have a bad stick.

I got out of my bed last night and accidently got shocked by my Ipod and now it won't charge. I tried using a different charger and my Ipod dock but it wouldn't show that it was charging. I turned it off last night and left it on my dock and turned it on this morning and it had a low battery then all off a sudden it was fully charged. Can anyone please help me because I don't want to have to get a new Ipod just because of that?
