IWeb Publishes the Wrong Page

I added a Pinterest address to my iWeb page, then needed to change the Pinterest user name. But when I tried to edit, even delete the Pinterest widget and change it from an HTML snippet to a text box with hyperlink, then saved and republished, it keeps publishing the old page. I can't get the incorrect Pinterest button off my site! Thanks for any suggestions.

Create a new page and copy over everything but the widget. Then delete the original page.

Printer prints off the wrong pages - HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 series

I have a HP Desket 3050 all-in-one J610 and I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I'm trying to print off some pages, first through google chrome and then through adobe reader, and the printer prints off the wrong pages. Eg, I told it to print of pages 41-64 odd only and I got all of the even pages. Now, if I try to print anything off, I get the odd page below and the settings are set to 'print all pages'. It was working fine a week ago and nothing's changed since then.
I tend to use fast draft paper quality as these are lectures notes and not particularly important, but I have tried the normal quality paper and it does the same thing.
Could anybody help?

Powerbooks have heat sensors that control the fan. The fan can run and not be heard unless the speed increases. If the powerbook thinks it's getting to hot it can start going into a shutdown mode.Thats a safety feature. May you please elaborate... How are you creating the pdf documents (procedure, software, etc.)? How are you inserting links into your documents?... etc., etc.

iCloud does not provide website hosting: you will need to find another hosting service - there are plenty to choose from.

Publish on the wrong page

Don't know what happened. The page I published was uploaded correctly and I can see them if I login to my .mac a/c, and I find them all on the section of "my pages". But iWeb keep annoucing the link as a old page link which I don't see in the "my pages" section of my .mac a/c.

After the first time you publish your page...
"Publish to .Mac" = continues to publish the updates...only the changes.
"Publish ALL to .Mac" = basically erases everything and publishes every file to your site....kind of like a clean install.
You should only have to use "Publish All to .Mac" every now and then to fix strange display errors that may come up. It takes a lot longer, of course, because the entire site is being republished. For most cases, you will be using the regular "Publish to .Mac" for regular updates to your site.

Printing to PDF: prints the wrong page size and orientation

I am trying to print a simple 60 page document composed of 8 x 11 inch pages to a pdf. I want the pdf in spreads, so that 2 8x11 inch pages in portrait orientation will be next to each other as a spread. Each time I try to print, the pdf comes out in the wrong orientation or the wrong size or both. When I export it to a pdf, it is the right orientation and page size, but the file size is way too large. So how do I fix this annoying problem? I have tried adjusting the print setup but it still won't print right. This seems like a simple operation, but indesign has been giving me trouble with this for weeks. I should mention I'm using CC. Thank you.

Go to the AdminUI ( http://<servername>:<port>/adminui ), and to Services, PDF Generator. Pick File Type Settings, and click on the Standard entry. If you pop open the HTML to PDF section, you can edit the size, margins, orientation, headings and footers, site recursion, and pdf initial view settings. Save your settings as a new Filetype (you can make as many as you want), and pass the name the filetype as the second parameter to the call to the htmlToPDF method on the web service client. http://livedocs.adobe.com/livecycle/es/sdkHelp/programmer/javadoc/com/adobe/livecycle/g eneratepdf/client/GeneratePdfServiceClient.html I am unfamiliar with interacting directly with the web services via SOAP, so if you are not using the pre-built GeneratePdfServiceClient supplied by Adobe and this information does not solve your issue you will need to see if anybody else can help. I imagine that there is a similar String parameter where you place the Filetype name defined in the AdminUI. (edit: I should mention, the GeneratePdf service is a part of PDF Generator ES, not Output ES, so you may have better luck in the general Livecycle ES forum)

PDF renders the wrong page numbers

Have been trying to convert some word documents to PDF.. The page number in the word is in the format "Page 1 of N, Page 2 of N..... Page N of N".. but after conversion the PDF shows the page number as Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2, Page 3 of 3...... Page N of N. Is this a problem with the page number formatting in word or is it something wrong with the PDF convertor? Plz help... this is driving me crazy...

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Are you using the online service Adobe CreatePDF to create your PDF files? If so, whatever information is in the file should be converted precisely into the PDF; if you're using Adobe Acrobat desktop software, I'm afraid you're in the wrong forum. F110 prints the check on the wrong page/leaf when vendor invoices overflow

Hi all,
When paying vendor invoices with a check printed through F110, if a vendor has more invoices than fit on a single check leaf, the following should happen:
- Invoices overflow to the next page
- Any checks before the last one are left blank and voided by the system
- The check on the last page is printed with the total amount and is marked as valid by the system
However, what's happening is the following:
- Invoices overflow to the second page
- The check on the first page is printed with the amount, date, etc. and marked as void by the system
- The check on the second page comes out blank and is marked as valid by the system
For some reason the form or print program isn't waiting until the last page to print the check. I can't find anything about check printing in case of an overflow in SAP Notes or transaction FBZP. Is this controlled by a setting in the program variant, or somewhere else?

I see the CHECK window on the FIRST page has text elements 540 and 545, but the rest of the lines are commented out. There seems to be nothing printing there. Instead, this particular check layout has the date and payee in one window and the amount in another one, both on the FIRST page of the SAPscript, but there are no calls to WRITE_FORM for either of those two windows. Does the CHECK window have any special properties that (should) cause it to always print at the end, and could I then apply those properties to these other two windows to fix the problem?
As for the debugger, I guess what I should be looking for is the moment when the check gets printed, and see what happened exactly before that triggered it? Then see if I can delay that trigger until the end?

Firefox loads the wrong page

If I look at this site in FF http://bit.ly/1xbOtxF it takes me to a page with domain.com/default but if I look in Chrome or IE then it shows the correct page, domain.com. I have cleared the cookies but it still goes to the domain.com/default page.
Any ideas please?

IWeb publishes the unedited versions of my photos?

I'm using the media browser within iWeb to drag photos to my site. Everything looks fine and dandy in iWeb. These photos are coming straight out of an iPhoto album and have been edited in iPhoto. When I publish, iWeb decides to upload the unedited versions of my photos. When I view them on my site, they are the original unedited versions. When I download them from the site, I get the edited version.
Obviously I'd rather not have to export them from iPhoto and then add them to iWeb because this method should work fine.
I saw a post from someone else marked solved who said he'd rebuilt his iPhoto library and it had started working. I did this last night by holding command and option while opening iPhoto and then opting to rebuild everything. Thumbnails, database, everything.
Still not working.
Anybody else having this problem or know of anything I can do to attempt to resolve it?

I'm now 100% convinced this is a problem with iPhoto, not iWeb.
I just tried exporting some photos for deviantART upload from iPhoto and though they display properly and open up in preview looking all nice and edited, as soon as I upload them to dA, they 'revert' to the unedited original version in both Safari and FF.
And I'm using FF3 and Safari b4.
I don't think there's much I can do to troubleshoot iPhoto other than deleting the plist which I've already done.

Everytime I go to a search engine like Bing or Google and click on the link to a website, it sends me to the wrong page. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer, so what can I do as far as fixing the problem on Firefox?

Anytime I enter what I'm looking for in the search engine and click on a link, it goes through multiple web addresses until it takes me to an indirect page, and the first few webpages on the link that appear during the loading process are the same. I actually don't know what those websites are though.

Links I get for a photo-sharing website open correctly in IE but not in Firefox 35.0, which goes to the right site but the wrong page. Previous Fox was fine.

In the past, clicking on the link in Thunderbird opened the page at shutterfly.com correctly in FF (default browser). Now it goes
straight to one of the options for the photos that the link referred to.
Copy & paste the link directly into FF gives the same dud result - whereas IE opens it perfectly.
I have also tried disabling Adblockplus and my various plug-ins.

guigs2 - I've tried that but no joy. In fact, the about:config was set to user
defined, so I reset it to default as advised and tried the link again. No change.
jayelbe - Somehow I don't think the sender of the link would like having his
Shutterfly page floating around the place, even if its in a good cause. Sorry!
You could, of course, set up a Shutterfly account (its free), upload a pic and
share it with whoever - the invite to share is sent direct from the site.

Every time I try to print a pdf my printer now says No paper-Custom Size. It used to work fine and other programs work fine.

I had this problem. The error message said that this document cannot be printed and after clikcking ok, another message said that the page wasn't selected or something like that. I went to Programs and Features in Vista Control Panel and deleted Adobe Reader 9. Then I rebooted and went to adobe.com and installed the 9.1 version. Now, I can print my documents. I hope this helps you!
