J2EE Error while buildind examples

I am trying to test web service with JAX-RPC. I started with building the helloservice but when I was trying to sun asant build command at the Prompt window there is an error.
BUILD FAILED
file:C:/Sun/j2eetutorial14/examples/jaxrpc/common/targets.xml:82: Execute failed
: java.io.IOException: CreateProcess: \bin\wscompile.bat -define -mapping build/

It is very difficult for me to solve the problem.

We tried twice clean installation, after removing j2ee dir, SCS and
resp profiles and droping PSAPQSSDB tablespace and SAPQSSDB user.

We are getting the same error in both tries.
Kindly advice us to resolve the problem.

you saved my day! I've been banging my head against the wall with this same problem during a J2EE add-in installation for SRM 4.0 on Windows, in preparation of an LAC 2.0 installation. I had tried deleting the schema first, but that didn't work. After I removed the sys\global\security folder as well, it worked perfectly.

Hi Somil,
I've just had this same error message, and it was because I had a bogus character in my JSP sources. I'd cut-and-pasted the text from a Word document, and it included the "registered trademark" sign (an R in a circle) as a single character. This worked in my test environment, but not in my production environment (where presumably the default encoding is different). I replaced the character with the equivalent HTML entity &reg; (ie. the five characters & r e g ; ) and it all worked.
Have a look through the offending JSPs and see whether you have any characters that might be incompatible with your default encoding (anything that isn't plain old 7-bit ASCII is potentially a problem). Change them to HTML entities and you should be fine.

When I am installing the SAP SAP J2EE add-on for SAP NW XI installation I am getting the follwing error:
CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable /oracle/XID/920_64/bin/sqlplus returns 127.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details
Could some one help me to resolve this error and install the SAP J2EE add-on?

Hi,
Check whether your workspace has any other .ear files. If yes, just delete those ear files and try creating the ear file for your application again. I had a similar problem and it got resolved by the above method.

Weblogic Server has two clusters and admin server. The referenced libraries didnt targeted to admin server. Because of that it was giving these errors. I have targeted to admin server all referenced libraries and I have deployed it.
But,
When I say start my application, I am taking this error:

Web Dynpro uses the System Landscape Directory (SLD) to get the metadata for JCO connection creation. a) Loads can be failed due to the invalid characters

Error: while generating SQL.java.rmi.ServerException:

Hi:
I tried the JGuru's "MusicStore" example. HOwever at Task 6 and 7 I am getting the following error:
Error: while generating SQL.java.rmi.ServerException:
RemoteException occured in server thread; nested exception is:
* java.rmi.RemoteException: Error connecting to database;
nested exception is:
* SQL Exception: Failed to start database 'MusicStoreDB', see
the next exception for details.
Please make sure the database name/user/password is valid
and the J2ee server and database are running.
However when i check my database it is running perfectly:

what type of persistent u r using also post ur query if bmp and check with another example with cmp.
