JAVA and Transaction Tab

How do people handling java based systems when it comes to the transaction tab in Solution Manager?  Should I just use the Long URL for the screen that is being configured?  Any insight would be helpful.

Hi
Yes you can use URL for the same
You can insert Internet/Intranet links by entering a descriptive text and the Web address. You can also insert URL addresses with variables.

  • How do I duplicate the budget and transaction tabs?

    When I duplicate the budget and trasaction tabs the transaction tab does not translate to the month of my budget that i am in.  Is there an easy way to duplicate two tabs that are initially in a new personal budget template into 12 months of the year?
    Thank you for the help.

    Hi K,
    Duplicating the Budget sheet leaves the formulas refering to the original Transactions sheet.
    Plan A
    After duplicating both sheets, rename the new sheets with something meaningful (for example Transactions January and Budget January).
    on the Budget January sheet, edit the formula in cell C2 of the Summary by Category table to this:
    =SUMIF(Transactions January::Transactions::C,A2,Transactions January::Transactions::$D)
    I find it easier to copy the cell contents, then paste onto the canvas. It becomes a text box. Edit, then select the contents of the text box. Copy and Paste back into cell C2. Fill Down.
    Plan B
    Open a new document from Template chooser for each month. Numbers will not reference formulas between documents, so each month is safe and sound within its own document.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Using Numbers Personal Budget template I can't figure out how to change the categories in both tabs (budget and transactions)

    Brand new just bought Numbers and I used the personal budget template to enter our monthly budget.  I customized the spread sheet with our budget categories, but then when I go to the transactions tab to add our transactions, it only has the generic categories.  How do I change them so that my transactions end up on the table?

    Hi artlisavz,
    There are 2 places to make changes.
    I assume this is where you have already changed things:
    The Budget tab- Summary by Category- just click the name and change it. Or else you dragged the "=" at the lower left to add rows. Added your categories.
    You need to edit the popup in the Transactions tab- Category popup.
    Popup menu is a data format. You find it on the right side bar Format>Cell>Data Format> Popup Menu. Change, delete, go wild. If you edit the first one you can copy it, select the rest of the column and paste. If you find you want an additional in a month or so you can enter it as text (after deleting the popup), then select it and the popup above and choose the popup format instead of multiple and you will have added it to that popup. You will need to fill it to the rest of the column.
    If you added additional categories, you want to update the pie chart.
    Click the pie chart, click "Edit Data References", drag the section to include your added categories.

  • Complete (Transaction complete) and Delete tab

    Hi Friends,
    1. In extended classic scenario we have Complete (Transaction complete) and Delete tab
        So when we can suggest to the users "to Complete and Delete the purchase order"
    2  and Few of the PO's Complete tab is disable...Can some one can help on this?
    Thank You!
    Shrinivas

    Hi Shrinivas,
    Completion Tab is available only in sourcing cockpit (Carry Out Sourcing), the requirements which are no longer valid must be either completed and removed from the purchaser's work area using the completion tab.
    PO deletion must be used when the user wants no longer to order that PO or if the PO has resulted in some error's while in transmission and can't be amended any further must be deleted.
    The reason behind some PO's completion tab disabled is because the subsequent follow on documents is not yet posted and hence can't be completed unless there is GR and Invoice entries posted against the same.

    Hi Gurprit,
    1.> How i attached my application to iview ?
           You can attach your application to web Dynpro IView, for this login into portal, in the Content Management tab right click on a folder, then New --> IView. Select WD java Application. Select your application and create an Iview.
    2.> How i created Transaction iview ?
           Similarly, instead of selecting WD java Application, select iView template, you will get a list of available templates, and in this you will find template for Transaction Iview, in this template define the Tx for which you want to create the template.
    3.> Can i attache my application iview with transaction iview if it is possible then how ?
          No, I dont think you can attach your application to transaction Iview. but, you can attach both IViews on single page.
    4.> Can i display My application iview and transaction iview in single page ?
          Yes, you can attach  both IViews on single page. Again in Content Management tab, crate a PAGE; Then right click on created IViews and select  add IView to Page ßß: Delta Link.
    Hope this helps.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    One of the bug reports linked to your crashes says the HTTPS Everywhere extension could be a contributing factor. Would you try disabling it for 48 hours and see whether that makes any difference?
    You can do that on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
    In the left column, click Extensions.
    Some of these crashes are related to the "Just in Time" (JIT) JavaScript compiler(s). You could try disabling some of those features to see whether that helps. Alternately, you could run Firefox in its Safe Mode for a period of time since that disables them automatically (but in that case, extensions also are disabled).
    ''To disable individual preferences:''
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''javas''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click the following preferences to switch them to "false":
    * javascript.options.baselinejit.chrome (Firefox UI)
    * javascript.options.baselinejit.content (page content)
    * javascript.options.ion.content (page content)
    There might be other relevant items but we're a little out of my depth here.
    ''If you prefer to test using Firefox's Safe Mode:''
    You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled ''(Flash and other plugins still run)''
    In the small dialog that should appear after Firefox exits, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

  • Current server is the coordinator and transaction is not found

    Hi,
    We're using Weblogic 8.1 SP3. We have a single weblogic domain and 2 clusters in it. EAR1 is deployed in cluster 1 and EAR2 is deployed in cluster 2. EAR2 is compiled and created using j2ee.jar and not weblogic.jar.
    We have a MessageDrivenBean which is CMT / Required in EAR1 calls a BMT Stateless Session Bean in EAR2.
    A new transaction is begun in the BMT SB method and commit or rollback is called based on exception. A RuntimeException is thrown back to the MDB in case the transaction is rolled back in Bean Managed SB.
    Sometimes from the Bean Managed SB the following exception is thrown:
    javax.transaction.TransactionRolledbackException: Current server is the coordinator and transaction is not found. It was probably rolled back and forgotten already.

    I'm seeing a similiar problem on our servers recently and thought I would add my problem as well. We are using Weblogic 8.1; don't know which SP is in production. We have an EAR file with an SB EJB that puts messages in a queue. The EAR is deployed in a cluster along with the queues. The errors below occurred in 3 of the 4 WLS instances in our cluster. This happened during a peak period and lasted for several seconds in Production.

  • How to restrict executing tcodes in transaction tab for master clients

    This question applies SOLMAN project implementation tools: SOLAR01, SOLAR02 and so on.
    Our ERP2005 development U50 system has two clients:
    One is master client 101 where all customizing should take place  but no transactions are allowed
    second client 102 works as sandbox client where new customizing can be test and master data and transaction are allowed.
    Only U50/101 is defined in Solution manager SMSY in system role 'development system'. Currently U50/102 is not defined in Solution manager to any system role at all.
    As configuration should take place via Solution manager,  the consultants use SOLAR01 and SOLAR02 in system role 'development system' meaning that they are connected to U50/101 if want to execute transactions in transaction tabs or IMG nodes in Configuration nodes.
    But U50/101 is our MASTER client and no transactions nor most master data are allowed in there. We want to keep it clean. How can I avoid tcodes being executed in system role 'development'. I want to allow consultants use tcodes if they change to system role 'quality system'. But they might forget to change the system role before executing the transaction.
    Is there an option in Solution manager Project implementation tools that do not allow tcode launch from transaction tabs when system role is 'development system'.
    Of course I can restrict tcode execution with authorizations in satellite systems, but then I would need to disable authorizations for each tcode possibly being used. So I don't like that option.
    br: Kimmo

    Okay, I'll continue dialog with myself. I found solution how to assign other clients on one system to other system roles, which are so-called 'customer roles'.
    See solution manager help:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm40/helpdata/en/3b/8be61c54d22945837fd69861d21a08/content.htm
    I did not know until know, that system roles are actually customizable. The roles with letter P,D,C,T,E, etc. are reserved for SAP but you can create your own system roles into table SMSY_ROLES. You would not do it with SM30, but from tcode SMSY and following menu Utilities-System Settings->tab:System Roles. Switch to change mode. Roles with 0-9 are available for "customer roles". Choose role type and write your own description ( like: Sandbox client in development system ).
    Now the new role is available in SMSY. But You cannot see it yet in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN/System Landscape tab. In there you must press button 'System role assignment' and in the opening window add your own 0-9 role defined earlier and save. Now you see your new role in 'system landscape' tab and you can assign systems to it like you had done with SAP standard roles.
    Now users using implementation tools can change their current system role to your new 'customer role'.
    But what it comes to my original problem (see title), that still remains. I have debugged the tcode execution from transaction tabs and don't see any possible way to avoid tcodes being executed for an unwanted system role. An Enhancement Spot ( =new BADI) can of cource be used for making custom rule for my requirement.
    I'll make this thread answered. Hope you joined my self-dialog.

    ABAP mapping
    ABAP mappings run on ABAP Stack and are developed in the ABAP workbench of the Integration Server.
    You normally do not need to use the ABAP mappings and is preferable for someone with ABAP programming background. I should say JAVA functions would suffice any complex scenarios.

    XSLT Mapping
    XSLT stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations. It is an XML based language for transforming XML documents into any other formats suitable for browser to display, on the basis of set of well-defined rules.

    Steps required for developing XSLT Mapping
    u2022 Create a source data type and a target data type
    u2022 Create Message types for the source and target data types.
    u2022 Create Message Interfaces includes Inbound Message interface and Outbound Message interface.
    u2022 XSLT Mapping does not require creation of Message mapping, so donu2019t create any Message mapping.
    u2022 Create an .XSL file which converts source data type into target data type.
    u2022 Zip that .xsl file and import it into Integration Repository under Imported Archives.
    u2022 In Interface Mapping choose mapping program as XSL and specify this zip program. (Through search help you will get XSL Mapping programs that you imported under Imported Archives, select your corresponding XSL Program)
    u2022 Test this mapping program by navigating to Test tab.
    By having look at above steps you can easily find out that this mapping is no where different from other mapping programs, here the challenging lies in creating an XSLT file. If you spend couple of minutes in studying XPATH tutorial you would be in ideal position to create an XSL Transformation (.xsl extension).
    If you still find difficulties in generating XSL Transformation, then you can make use of a tool u201CAltova MapForceu201D which will create XSL file for you.
    Steps for creating XSL file using this tool:
    1. Open the Alto MapForce, import the source .xml and .xsd file in it
    2. Similarly import the target .xml and .xsd in MapForce.
    3. These two data files should match with source and target data types in Integration Repository.
    4. Complete the graphical mapping using extensive list of XSLT functions available there.
    5. Save the mapping file.
    6. Click the XSLT tab. You will have the entire xslt logic there.
    7. Copy that content and save it as .xsl file.
    8. Zip above .xsl file and import the same into IR under Imported Archives.
    Hope this clears your doubts
    Thanks

  • I modified the budget categories on the numbers template so now the transaction tab does not communicate with the budget tab. I figured out how to change the drop down options but how do I get it to reflect on my budget sheet? Please help.

    If you are familar with the Numbers Budget Template it has two tabs 'Budget' and 'Transactions'. If you use the template as it is designed when you input expenses on the transaction tab it will automatically add that amount into the selected category on the budget tab. I have madified my budget tab to reflect the caegories that I need, which included adding several to the template. I also added to the table so it reflects my income and expenses so I can track where I am at with a glance. Since I did this, I can't get my transactions tab to communicate with the budget tab. I figured out how to change the options in the drop down box for category but I con't figure out how to get it to reflect onto my budget tab. I'm sure that it is an easy fix, however, I am just not well versed in Numbers. I appreciate your time in helping me with this issue.
    Respectfully,
    Jon

    My guess is that while you added catetories to your Budget Sheet by adding new lines and filling in the category column, you didn't also add the formulas to these new budget lines.
    The proper way to add those lines would have been to select a cell in the line just above where you want to add a line and type Option/Alt-DownArrow. This would have copied the formulas into the new line. Maybe you did this, and maybe not. You didn't give details on how you added the lines.
    Select C2 and D2 and Command-C to copy them to the Clipboard.
    Select all the cells of Columns C and D except for the top and bottom rows and Command-V to Paste.
    If I have properly guessed the problem, you should be in business. This assumes that your Categories are exaclty the same as the entries in your Pop-up menus. Spelling counts, as does case.

  • Function and attribute tabs not visible in ppoma_crm

    Hello Experts,
    Function and Attribute tab at the sales organization level is not visible in PPOMA_CRM transaction code for one of the user.
    Is it due to some authorization issue ? or anything else ?
    Before taking a system trace for that specific user, I would like to know if we are missing anything functionally
    Kindly revert
    Thanks and Regards
    DJ

    Hi DJ,
    Please see note 926540 - Missing Organisational units
    But from your description this does not seems to be the exact symptom.
    Yes I would advise to run a SU53 authorization check.

  • How to drag and drop tab nodes between tab panes

    I'm working on example from this tutorial( Drag-and-Drop Feature in JavaFX Applications | JavaFX 2 Tutorials and Documentation ). Based on the tutorial I want to drag tabs between two tabs. So far I managed to create this code but I need some help in order to finish the code.
    Source
    tabPane = new TabPane();
    Tab tabA = new Tab();
       Label tabALabel = new Label("Main Component");
    tabPane.setOnDragDetected(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>()
                @Override
                public void handle(MouseEvent event)
                    /* drag was detected, start drag-and-drop gesture*/
                    System.out.println("onDragDetected");
                    /* allow any transfer mode */
                    Dragboard db = tabPane.startDragAndDrop(TransferMode.ANY);
                    /* put a string on dragboard */
                    ClipboardContent content = new ClipboardContent();
                    content.put(DataFormat.PLAIN_TEXT, tabPane);
                    db.setContent(content);
                    event.consume();
    What is the proper way to insert the content of the tab as object? Into the tutorial simple text is transferred. How I must modify this line content.put(DataFormat.PLAIN_TEXT, tabPane);?
    And what is the proper way to insert the tab after I drag the tab:
    Destination
    tabPane.setOnDragDropped(new EventHandler<DragEvent>()
                @Override
                public void handle(DragEvent event)
                    /* data dropped */
                    /* if there is a string data on dragboard, read it and use it */
                    Dragboard db = event.getDragboard();
                    boolean success = false;
                    if (db.hasString())
                        //tabPane.setText(db.getString());
                        Tab tabC = new Tab();
                        tabPane.getTabs().add(tabC);
                        success = true;
                    /* let the source know whether the string was successfully
                     * transferred and used */
                    event.setDropCompleted(success);
                    event.consume();
    I suppose that this transfer can be accomplished?
    Ref javafx 2 - How to drag and drop tab nodes between tab panes - Stack Overflow

    I would use a graphic (instead of text) for the Tabs and call setOnDragDetected on that graphic. That way you know which tab is being dragged. There's no nice way to put the Tab itself into the dragboard as it's not serializable (see https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-29082), so you probably just want to store the tab currently being dragged in a property.
    Here's a quick example; it just adds the tab to the end of the current tabs in the dropped pane. If you wanted to insert it into the nearest location to the actual drop you could probably iterate through the tabs and figure the coordinates of each tab's graphic, or something.

  • In Scope missing in Transaction tab

    Hi All,
    My company has recently started to work with Solution manager.
    We have created a template project in solution manager that contains all our processes.
    I'm now tasked by testing the testing functionality of solution manager.
    By reading and doing some initial testing I noticed that we do not have the "In Scope" column in the transactions tab.
    Is this only available in implementation projects or did we configure something wrong?
    regards,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,
    scoping is generally not possible in Template projects, neither in structure nor on transaction tab.

  • Missing Logical Component in Solar01-Transaction Tab

    We have setup several logical components and assigned it to our project template.  We then executed transaction SOLAR01; navigate to the "Business Blueprint Structure", "Master Data" and then the "Transactions" tab; we could only select One Logical Component.  The rest of them are NOT being display at all. Any idea why?
    Interestingly, when we naviate to the Business Blueprint Structure" \ "Business Scenario" - All the logical components are available again. But go down another level from there' and we are back to one logical component again.
    Thanks in ahead to anybody that could shed some light in this.

    Hi,
    logical components are assigned directly to master data objects, organizational units and process steps. Thus, these objects are part to the corresponding system. Therefore, it is only possible to assign content on tabs belonging to these objects that have the same product assigned. This is the reason why only one logical component is available on this level in your project. On scenario or process level, all logical components are available.
    Best regards,
    Michael

  • Tab and back-tab out of a JTable

    Hi There,
    I have been working for some time on improving the default behaviour of the tab key within editable JTables. It largely works as required now, but I'm stuck on getting back-tab to leave the table if on row 0, col 0. I register tab and back-tab action in the table's ActionMap that looks like this:
         class TabAction extends AbstractAction {
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
                   if (getRowCount() > 0) {
                        int row = getSelectedRow();
                        int column = getSelectedColumn();
                        if (row < 0 || column < 0) {
                             row = 0;
                             column = 0;
                        do {
                             if (++column >= getColumnCount()) {
                                  row++;
                                  column = 0;
                        } while (row < getRowCount() && ! isCellTabbable(row, column));
                        if (row < getRowCount()) {
                             changeSelection(row, column, false, false);
                        } else {
                             clearSelection();
                             transferFocus();
                   } else {
                        transferFocus();
         class BackTabAction extends AbstractAction {
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
                   if (getRowCount() > 0) {
                        int row = getSelectedRow();
                        int column = getSelectedColumn();
                        if (row < 0 || column < 0) {
                             row = getRowCount() - 1;
                             column = getColumnCount() - 1;
                        do {
                             if (--column < 0) {
                                  row--;
                                  column = getColumnCount() - 1;
                        } while (row >= 0 && ! isCellTabbable(row, column));
                        if (row >= 0) {
                             changeSelection(row, column, false, false);
                        } else {
                             clearSelection();
                             transferFocusBackward();
                             KeyboardFocusManager fm = KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager();
                                // fm.upFocusCycle(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                             // fm.focusPreviousComponent(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                   } else {
                        // transferFocusBackward();
                        // KeyboardFocusManager fm = KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager();
                           // fm.upFocusCycle(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                        // fm.focusPreviousComponent(BTTTable_Editable.this);
         }transferFocus() to go to the next screen component works fine - as long as I callsetFocusTraversalPolicyProvider(true); when I create the JTable.
    But the backward traversal just doesn't work - instead it does nothing the first time you press back-tab on row 0 col 0, then if you press it again, focus goes onto the last row/col of the table.
    As an alternative, I thought maybe I could call the Ctrl-back-tab action, but I can't find that registered in the action map - can anyone tell me how ctrl-back-tab is called and whether I can call that code directly?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Where's the rest of your code? What good does posting
    the Actions do if we can't execute your code and see
    how you've installed the Actions on the table? Who
    knows where the mistake is. It may be in the posted
    code or it may be in some other code.Well I assume the Action is registered okay because back-tab within the table works fine, and in fact using a debugger I can see that the focus request code (transferFocusBackward) is being called at the right time. I followed it into that code and it appears that it is picking up the tableCellEditor as the "previous" component which is "why" it isn't working right - not that that helps me to fix it.

    And here is the code I would use to go to the
    previous component:
    KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().
    focusPreviousComponent();I tried that too, as you can see from my original post. It gives the same answer.
    So the big question is why does the FocusManager think that the "previous" field to the table is an editor component within the table?
