Java class triggered by the front page on EP

Hello, I am maintaining our source code that was developed by a third party. There are a few Java classes and they are triggered when our EP front page - Home is loaded. Now I have developed a new class that needs to be trigger also. How can I find the place to configure? Thanks for help.

You can create an Abstract Portal Component which can trigger your java class. You can then create an iview from that component and include that in the Home page. But make it invisible.

Hi thanks for responding. Ok i did look through and it was opening some gui. I still need the program to do server side processes so cant use an applet.but i dont need the gui so i revised it and removed the gui. also im using a servlet to call the class now yet i still have the same error. Any ideas?

I have hidden unwanted books from the purchased area of the iBooks store, but they're are still appearing on the front page of iOS as cloud downloads, is there a way to remove these from iBooks without using the hide iCloud books button?

I had downloaded a lot of free books in the past as a trial when iBooks was first released and since then I have decided I no longer want them, because of this I hid them from the purchased section of the iBooks store. The 5 books left are ones I decided to keep as seen in the following picture.
This is how it appears in iBooks on my mac. There are 4 books downloaded and 1 book that I have decided not to download at this time. I would still like to keep this book available in the cloud incase I want to download it again in the future. You’ll notice that hide iCloud books is not selected, if I wanted to hide the book that I have chosen to keep in the cloud, but have not downloaded yet I could.
This is exactly how I think this feature should work. If you have hidden a book from your purchases it should not show up in the mac Ibooks app. (I am aware you can never actually delete a purchase, just hide them and that hidden purchases can be restored to your account from within the account management section of the iBooks store).
The iOS app is working differently for me. Here is a picture of the purchased tab on the iBooks store in iOS Ibooks. Again notice that pictures of Lilly is still yet to be downloaded. This is how I expected it to look.

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

How to hit the front page of the iTunes store?

What system does Apple use to place new podcasts at the front page of the iTunes store? There are only a handful to be seen, some of them are there even twice. Most of them are quite old (from December 2008). Some of them have user comments, some not. I cannot see any system behind it.

How can I get one audio file to stop once another is triggered on the same page in EPUB?

I have multiple audio files on one page and am able to trigger each separately with their own control panels. Unfortunately, these can all be played over one another. Is there a solution within InDesign to stop the first active audio file once another audio button is triggered on the same page?

Use buttons. They can have have more than one action. Set a button to stop the first audio, and start the second.

Make sure you deleted the page from the server.
Otherwise try clearing your cache.

Setting Java class parameters for a JSP page

I have a Java class that has a reference to a Session Id. I want to call a JSP from the class and set the session id to a String variable in the JSP. I am using a URL class to call the JSP. After the actual URL is passed to the URL constructor, I am appending the "?m_sessionId=e_session Id" at the end of the URL. In my JSP, I have the m_sessionId String parameter that i want to set e_sessionId to. What should i do in my JSP to set this? Any answers will be very helpful and I'd like to offer many thanks in advance

Hi Rahul,
Yeah, i got that resolved. Do you know how i can get the thing in reverse gear. What i mean is i can successfully call and get the JSP to do things for me from my Java bean. What about sending stuff back to my bean?
I want to send the List back to my calling class so i can work with it.
