Guys can some one give me a java code sample for uploading more than 1 file .
I have a working example but that is only for one file.

Adapter module to read excel file -java code required for PI 7.1

Hi PI experts,
I am working on PI 7.1 SP 08.
I am trying to develope an adapter module to read excel file

but here in this wiki , given java code is for pi 7.0 and it is using jar file from PI 7.0
I tried with using corresponding PI 7.1 files

I’m working on WC Spaces Customization library “com.acme.custom.webcenter.spaces.war”. From time to time, when I deploy the library to WC Server, it errors out.
weblogic.management.DeploymentException: Cannot undeploy library Extension-Name: com.acme.custom.webcenter.spaces, Specification-Version: 11.1.1, Implementation-Version: 11.1.1.2.113 from server WC_Spaces, because the following deployed applications reference it: webcenter-rest.war, spaces.war, sharepoint-servlet.war, webcenter-rss.war
If I try to login the Spaces, I get “Java code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.” Should I stop the Spaces server before the deployment? In this case, other people won’t have accesses to Spaces? The deployment error doesn’t happen all the time.

I don't think that this error is based on ojsp.next mode. The first error I see is that the application can't be undeployed. After that you get the 'ava code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.' error. As you said this only happens sometimes which also point to an other problem and not to the jsp error.
Have you ask this on the {forum:id=354} forum?
For me it's more a deployment/redeployment question.

JAXB has been available as an early release download for some time. There are also XML Binding packages available from Borland (JBuilder) and Castor. These tools create Java classes from a source document, xml,dtd etc. You can use these classes to marshal-unmarshal XML documents.

Java Code to transfer a file through FTP

I am writing a java code to transfer a file from local machine to a server on another machine.
While uploading i am encountering with an exception which is showing as
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
The file is getting transferred sucessfully if i am transferring it through command prompt instead of java code.
Please help me out.

Actually the code i have written is working fine when the two machines are local.
But it is not working when the two syastems are connected through avantail.
Then it is giving an exception

thanks for the quick response.
but the problem is supppose i have a excel sheet with 16 rows and 13 columns(so data).
i am placing this file contents to appserver USING ABOVE fm.
after that i am reading the file from appserver to create SO(idoc),i need 1row-3column data and 2row-2c data.like that.
in unix we will get row data(after uploading to app server) as #mprn#2345# like this so easy to separate when reading.but in MS NT OS 1row data getting stored in different rows in Appserver.so difficult to read.
so the above mentioned FM is OS dependent or is there any way (any other FM) to get same kind of data in different OS.
PLEASE SUGGEST OTHER WISE I NEED TO CODE BASED ON OS.

Code samples for SSLEngine?

I am attempting to re-implement the SSL support in our product under the new non-blocking I/O model. SSLEngine seems to be the starting point...but I can't find any code samples anywhere showing it working.
Anybody have any ideas where to look?
There used to be a whole suite of samples in the JSSE...but don't know where they are, now that the JSSE is part of J2SE :(

SSLEngine is new in tiger (JDK 1.5), and as such, hasn't been released
publically yet. I believe they are looking at sometime in Q1 2004 for the first
public beta, and ships later in 2004. If you're a licensee, you can get early drops.Yup...I'm currently working with JDK1.5 b30.
Anyway, SSLEngine will eventually have sample code, but nothing has been produced yet.
On the whole, the non-blocking model takes some care to use correctly. The SSLEngine
is pretty straightforward, but it's not as simple as SSLSocket.I'm aware of that - we've already rewritten our product to utilize java.nio. That's why I was
hoping to find some code samples for the new SSLEngine class.
To answer your other (implied) question, the sample
code for JDK 1.4 can be found in the JSSE Reference Guide. See:

Mapping xml for uploading file

hi everyone.
i am in big problem here. for the last couple of days i have been trying to upload a file in my project but cant get through. i am using HTML and servlets to do the upload.....my system is on java 1.4 and tomcap 4.0
at first i did try to use jakarta common upload, but i couldint get the set up correct..... i kept on getting a compile error that the package couldint be found.....so i went for com.oreilly and copied the cos.jar on the common\lib, then took one of the source codes which compiled well.
so i tried to upload a file but failed again, it displayed an error that the directory Tmp not found, so i changed the directory to c:\tmp on the servlet... like this:

i am still struggling with the upload part, but i feel i am on the right track. my servlet is compiling well but wen i run it, i am getting an error "*HTTP Status 404 - /servlet/null*".
