Java exception on "cache document" post to CRM from UCCX
We recently implemented a CRM which supports a method of 'call pop', where information is POST'ed from our UCCX application to an inbound point. It works perfectly. The problem we're seeing is that if that inbound point is unavailable, our application throws an exception. Normally this doesn't matter, because the race condition that is triggered between the exception and the call being connected to an agent is almost always connected.
However we may use other purposes for passing data, and that could cause our script to fail. Is there a way to elegantly handle this exception, or avoid it entirely?
The error message reads: "Task: 38000352451 I/O exception from caching document; nested exception is: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: (redacted, our CRM's inbound URL)"
Please let me know if there's any other information I can provide. Thanks!
UCCX 8.5.1 : 8.5.1.11002-22
I like your idea to use the try block in the Java block. Saves on scripting steps!
Gergely Szabo wrote:...you can perhaps try the On Exception step - select er... (no much information on exceptions in the docs) so just try to choose the ones containing the term Document. Good luck with that.
Actually this is easier than you might think. Just pull the MIVR logs after an exception occurs and it tells you the exception thrown in the log file.
Additionally, if you didn't want to do that, you could just be lazy and use "WFExcutionException" which catches all exceptions in the Work Flow.

Scanned Document's in CRM from FileNet?
Hi All,
We are implementing a SAP CRM 5.0 system, and FileNet P8 is to be used as the document repository for SAP CRM.We are using the FileNet adaptor, called ACSAP for SAP R/3, which allows us to connect to SAP CRM using the generic ArchiveLink functionality
We are working on interface between SAP CRM 5.0 and FileNet (with ACSAP connector).
Scenario:
The documents will be scanned, afterthat it will be stored in FileNet repository wih corresponding business object numbers like BP, Service Order and Activities. Ex. BP 100 - Doc. X in FileNet
We want to store the link in CRM as against corresponding object number i.e, linking to BP
Display it in CRM application i.e PCUI and as soon as user clicks on link it should open the document if authorised
=>We had discusion with our team we came up with 2 solution i.e. Use of Archive Link other one Attach an URL link pointing to document in FileNet repository.
Need the ans for the questions :
(1) How should we use Archive link concept ? what are config needed for it ?where should we plug in our Custom code ?
(2) Is there any USER EXIT or BADI getting triggered ?
Thanks in Advance for help.

Authorization for Task - Manual Document Posting
Hi All
We have have few tasks in our consol monitor like data collection, manual posing, validation, reclass etc. I want to restrict authorizaiton to users based on company and tasks. When I do so its perfectly working except for manual posting task. The system is allowing user to post manual posting of other company in which the user is not supposed to. I am wondering. The system is just ignoring manual posting task alone. Is there any tricky way to solve the issue for manual posting task?
I am currently using the objects R_UGMD_CHA, R_UGMD_SNG, R_UC_TASK combinations. It works fine except for manual document posting task. If any one got any suggestions, let me know to fix this problem.
Regards
A.BharathNote 610621 - SEM-BCS: Authorization check for the Manual Posting
During the execution of the Manual Posting the system by mistake checks the authorization for consolidation groups or consolidation units against value '#'. The system should check against the initial value instead.
For example, if you start a Manual Posting task, which posts on posting level 10, for a consolidation unit 'xyz', the system checks the authorization against the following values:
Consolidation unit = 'xyz'
Consolidation group = '#'
Instead of this, the system should check against the following values:
Consolidation unit = 'xyz'
Consolidation group = initial value
Other terms
Manual Posting, authorization check

"ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception
Dear Oracle:
I am trying to establish an HTTPS connection from a Java stored
procedure that is wrapped in a PL/SQL procedure and loaded into a
Package. We are running on Oracle 8.1.7.
My Java code compiles and runs fine when run stand-alone outside
Oracle; I can establish the connection to a secure server and talk to
the server. However when I load this Java class (using the loadjava
utility) this class can no longer run and I get a the following
exception:
"ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception:
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: SSL handshake failed:
X509CertChainIncompleteErr"
I have tried loading the JSSE from Sun and I still get the same error.
Searching in the Discussing Forums I found the following link (which
describes a procedure that logs into the UPS secure server site and
grabs some XML) http://osi.oracle.com/~mbpierma/SSL_Java_DB.html .
This code works ok if we try to connect to UPS server. However this
code doesn't work if we try to log in to a different server (such as
???). If I modify this code slightly and try to log to any other
sever server I get the same error as the one above. Investigation
lead us to understand that the certificate at the UPS web site is a
self-signed certificate -- not one generated by a major 'recognized'
authority such as Verisign or Thawte.
Further research pointed me to the following URL
http://www.znow.com/sales/oracle/network.816/a76932/appf_ora.htm#619367
This URL has the documentation for JAVA SSL for 8.1.6 which I figure
I could read and try to make it work in 8.1.7.
I looked at your Secure Hello World example, however the code is
missing the most critical parts of the whole example, it does not
specify where the certificate or any of the security settings come
from (see the attached JavaCertExample.txt file).
So, my questions are the following:
1) What should I do to avoid the error mentioned above?
2) Do you have a sample piece of code that describes how to make a
HTTPS connection using a Java stored procedure?
3) Can I make the HTTPS connection using a URL class and not using
sockets directly?
4) Do I need to load the JSEE provided by Sun?
5) Will the solution be different for Oracle 9i?

Is some ORACLE guru that can help us ?
We need to communicate with some servlet
via POST method of https (SSL3)
and with using private certificate on the client site.
We need furthermore allow using of some proxy.
Client site is realized as set of stored procedures within ORACLE 8.1.7
In this time I am able to communicate with server without SSL and certificate
using package utl_tcp
(but with this solution without certificate is our customer not satisfied -:))
ORACLE help us please !

Hi,
Yes, with two nodes you should be able to put more data into your Coherence cluster - the capacity scales with the number of storage nodes in the cluster.
Actually, this is not true. :-)
By default configuration, and not using indexes, you are able to store the same amount of data in one node as in two nodes in case of a distributed cache.
This is because if you have one node, Coherence does not create backups. If you have two nodes, it creates one backup (if you configured a backup, which default configuration did).
It starts to increase total capacity only with the third node (assuming backup count is 1).
All of this assuming that all nodes are storage-enabled and are running the service.

FRM-92100 Java Exception (jacob)
I'm using Jacob to load specific parts of Office documents into an Oracle database. This works successfully in 99.9% of cases although some users experience intermittent problems which can't be pinned down to a particilar office document and appear to be totally random. The error message indicates that the exception occurs when trying to close the Word session down.
The error message is as follows:
FRM-92100: Your connection to the Server was interrupted.
Details:
Java Exception:
com.jacob.com.ComFailException: A COM exception has been encountered:
At invoke of: Quit
Description: Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
I have seen several references to the 92100 catch all error code but none that tie in with this description.
Could anyone point me in the right direction as to what's causing this error? My first assumption would be the RAM available on the users PC at time of transfer but can't pin this down.
Many thanks.I think that fix for bug 5375851 has resolved the problem mentioned and hence this shall be of help.
Thanks,

Problem Category/SubcategoryNot sure about 8.52, but in 8.51, I found the PeopleSoft.PeopleCode.Func class in PS_HOME/appserv/classes/peoplecode.jar, and CLASSPATH gets set to PS_HOME/appserv/classes by psconfig.sh
Not an answer, but it might give you some ideas on where to look.

Java exception in getRSSI() call
I am testing out a little app I wrote to monitor cell data and strength. I am able to use the RadioInfo.getSignalLevel() call, but the GPRSInfo.GPRSCellInfo.getRSSI() call returns a Java exception (don't have it handy, but I can get it if need be) at runtime. The exception indicates that the call is unavailable.
Any ideas?hello,
I think it's a good idea to post your question in the dedicated board : from the homepage, goto the "Java Development" board.

Java Exception: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError
Database: oracle11g
Peoplesoft: peopletools8.52
I created jdbc connection java program and build it as a jar.
Placed that jar in an PS_HOME/class, while invoking that jar from peoplecode i am getting the error like:
Java Exception: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path: during call of packagename.classnameI'm not sure this is the best forum, perhaps if there is one for jdbc oracle clients it would be better posted there.
Try searching your Java Exception: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path: error on google.
Lots of hits come back.
My guess is just because App Server processes running via Tuxedo have access to the Oracle libraries they need, does not mean your code in the JVM created by the App Server processes do.
I would double check your LD_LIBRARY_PATH and ensure any required jar files like maybe $ORACLE_HOME/jdbc/lib/ojdbc6.jar are in ClassPath setting in the appserver config or copied to the class directory. Have you tested your program independently outside of PeopleSoft and made it work there first? That should indicated what requirements you've created by embedding jdbc into PeopleSoft. I've never tried what your doing though, so I'm just making an educated guess, and I don't know all that might be required.
