I dont know about the CATS system. But when ur user selects the varaint, he should remove his own id and execute the query. This should display all the variants existing for that program. Then he can select the required variant.
The user can also save this varaint under his own ID

How can I execute a java class with arguments from an air application built from mxml?

I have an mxml application. It has a button, and when that button select event occurs, I want my mxml air app to pass arguments to a java class I have built, which resides in a package path on my system. I need to be able to pass several arguments to my java method from my mxml call. How do I do this, and what config files are necessary? For the simple task I want to engineer, can you show me an example of a properly configured config file? My java class has been executed at the command line in the past as follows:
java -cp %CP% com.abc.prism.queue.EmitMessage XYZ "my message text" 192.12.13.14 5672
where %CP% is an env variable that tells my class the classpath it runs with, and XYZ, "my message text", the IP address, and the port are the arguments I must pass from mxml to my java class. How do I accomplish this?
How do I make known to the java class I call from mxml the %CP% class path? It tells my java class where to find various rabbitMQ jars.

try to select the computer cd/dvd autorun off.
I had the same problem, then Kaspersky software found a conflict suggesting me this solution.
Itunes now works...even if it always asks to set the cd/dvd autorun on when lunched.

I dont know why, but after 3 hours of processing I get this error. I encapsulated my main with try/catch but nothing is caught. Nor is there a traceback.

I don't have any idea to offer on what the problem is. However, here are some suggestions:
Perhaps you can provide an example of your code and/or a more through description of what it does so someone might see something wrong with the code.
I assume you print out the entire stack trace using somthing like this, so you can get the entire stack trace:
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
and not something like this:
System.out.println( e.getMessage());
You can also consider peppering your code with System.out.println() statements (or write to the log file) to get a better understanding of whats going on and where it crashes.
What is jgps.RTI.jar? Is that a jar file you created or a vendor jar file? If its a vendor jar file, you might research their web site on how to use it.

I am posting a working example of Passing Array of java objects to and from oracle database . I have struggled a lot to get it working and since finally its working , postinmg it here so that it coudl be helpful to the rest of the folks.
First thinsg first
i) Create a Java Value Object which you want to pass .

I ran into your code and looked into it. You've used the Person object array and directly passing it to the oracle.sql.ARRAY constructor. Just curios if this works, cos my understanding is that you need to create a oracle.sql.STRUCT out of ur java object collection and pass it to the ARRAY constructor. I tried ur way but got this runtime exception.

If you need only simple java program, you do not need to install JCo. The following codes can call java class.

Is it possible to build Java 1.5.0 from source?

I have posted a similar question on the "New To Java" list, but have not received an answer. I think that what I am trying to do is far too advanced for the Newbie forum.
I am attempting to build Java 1.5.0 from the source tarball I downloaded from java.sun.com - jdk-1_5_0-src.scsl.zip.
Sun's own build instructions at http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/scsl/build-linux.html state: "A GNU gcc compiler version 3.2.2 is required or gcc 3.2.1-7 built with the latest binutils package, version 2.13."
Since I have been completely unable to find gcc 3.2.1-7 anywhere on the internet, including at gnu.org, I used gcc 3.2.2.
Unfortunately, when I run the make scsl comman, I receive an error saying that gcc 3.2.2 is not supported and that I have to use gcc 3.2.1-7. I don't have the exact error message in front of me but can get it if it matters.
So it appears that Java 1.5.0 will not build with gcc 3.2.2. And I am not able to find gcc 3.2.1-7.

And most importantly, does anyone know where I can find gcc 3.2.1-7?

I'm quite new to java, I'm fiddling around with it for a nonprofit organization.
I have a java program that reads from a specified file and generates output but my final goal is a search box on the website that will take user input, run it through my program which searches through a prespecified file, and generate output.
I'd appreciate any help.

What can I do with this? I need it to be a String because I'm breaking it down to Tokens.

Using MacBook Air Mid 2012, software OS X 10.10.2. Want to uninstall Java 8 Update 40 from my system
as it is causing some problems in reading some files. Could someone guide me how to do that as the Java
software does not show in Applications folder and I am unable to find any other way.
