Java Review Program for Perforce

Hi,
I have a problem with a program that integrates with Perforce.
(The sources for the program can be found under: http://public.perforce.com/public/perforce/utils/reviewd/reviewer/index.html )
I tried to contact the developer of the program but the email adress is not existing anymore, so I thought I'll try it here to get some information.
The problem I have with it, is, that I get a strange error message every time I execute the program.
Here the error message:
C:\Program Files\Java>java -jar reviewer.jar reviewer.confcom.perforce.api.PerforceException: No output from p4 user -o at com.perforce.api.Env.checkValidity(Unknown Source) at com.perforce.reviewer.Reviewer.main(Unknown Source) Unfortunatly I dont have the source code, so I can't check the exeption, I just have the class files.
Can anybody help me?

If you still aint able to access the code as you say, though not a good practice, you could de-compile the .class files.

This is related to R12 check printing using RTF BI publisher.
In R12 we have the xml file genrerated out of the Java concurrent program.We want to add couple of new fields..For example there is a ALTERNATE SITE NAME required by the customer.I want to know where we should add the additional column.Is there any VIEW or PACKAGE available in the JAVA concurrent program so that we can modify and add required columns?

Changing Java Conc. program for "PO Output for Communication" is difficult.
Actually, if you observe closely, "PO Output for Communication" program uses PO<HEADER/LINES..>_XML views.
So if you could change these views and add your requireed columns to it, you can automatically see your changes in XML data file.

Help with Java Inventory Program - I almost got it

Hello, I'm new to the forum so please don't hang me if I'm not posting this correctly or in the right place. I'm writing a Java Inventory Program for class and everything was great until we had to modify it to sort by product name (in my case dvd's). The problem is my arrays for inventory count and price are thrown off when I sort by dvd name because they are predefined. I could cheat and just rearrange the array in a logical order according to the dvd title but that isn't really the answer for me. Can someone help me do where my inventory count and price don't go out of wack when I sort by dvd name, I really don't want to start over.

Java Training Book for CAD API

I am a CAD Design Engineer, and my CAD system (Pro/E) uses a Java application called J-Link for accessing the CAD system's API, apparently because this CAD system originated on the UNIX platform, although we use it on Windows. The Windows-based CAD systems I have used in the past used VBA for this purpose, with which I have a reasonable amount of training. I now need to gear up on Java to program for Pro/E. I could use some help in locating a book that would cover my needs. Most of what I've seen so far is considerable overkill, and does not deal with accessing an application's API through Java.
I had the unfortunate past experience of naively taking two VB courses, thinking this would cover any possible topic in VBA (which I mistakenly thought was basically a VB-lite) only to find that it didn't, and I eventually found a good book on VBA that covered my needs. Nevertheless, I wasted a lot of time learning a lot of stuff which was not pertinent. I would like to avoid this with Java for J-Link.

That CAD API doesn't sound like Sun code. (If it is, I'm not aware of it.)
J-Link sounds proprietary to ProE. I'd be shocked if there were books available on it. You should look into documentation from Parametric Technologies.
VB is NOT Java, that's for sure. If you don't know Java already, start with the Sun tutorial before you try to tackle this ProE API.

I am taking a JAVA programming course , and I would like to download a JAVA editing program for use on my home computer (Mac OS 10.5). I use TextPad at school, and I would like a similar program that can compile and run JAVA applications/applets.

this problem is about learning how to use threads/synchronise objects etc, the efficiency of the code isn't really an issue, if that's what you mean. As for the efficiency of the solution, it's very hard to tell how efficient it is, but as long as all the philosphers get to eat there's no problem. I haven't really scrutized your code, but I'm not sure that you have a deadlock free solution: as long as it is possible for all the phils to pick up one fork at the same time there's a problem, and it seems from your code that each philosopher will pick up "his" fork. Again, I could be wrong, I haven't really looked. If you haven't come up with a solution, try drawing it on paper and working it out, or if you're lazy a quick google will probably give you the answer, but I'm pretty sure nobody here will :)

Please suggest what was issue and is there any option to generate class file in J developer in local (Windows) instead of doing on application server if yes what are steps to be followed to generate class in windows

But getting error

No getting Report Output in OAF for java Concurrent program Method

I am not getting report output for java Concurrent Program(Concurrent Program Executable Method), for the reports which are of type PL/SQL Stored Procedure getting the output. for some of the reports the executable method is 'java Concurrent Program', so is there any thing i need to modify in my code.

NoClassDefFoundError for Java Concurrent Program in Oracle Apps

Hi,
I am accessing the Oracle Apps application which is installed in local server(Within the network).
I am trying to execute Java Concurrent Program in oracle apps (in Windows XP Professional). I did the following.
1. Created the concurrent program executable with Execution file name
as AvailableProg and Execution File Path as
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request (this is where AvailableProg resides)
and Method as Java Concurrent Program.
2. Created the concurrent program and set the Options as -cp JAVA_CON.
3. Created a environment variable JAVA_CON (In Windows XP) with the
values D:\apps.zip and
D:\oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.AvailableProg.class.
4. Registered the concurrent program.
5. While I submitted the request I got the following error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
oracle/apps/fnd/cp/request/Run.
Can anybody help me in resolving this issue?
Is there any documents available in executing java concurrent programs?

Your program reads from a file on the disk and formats based on a patterm.
Jsp is not intended for such stuff.

Why Java 1.4.1? We're up to Java 6 now. You're two major versions of the JDK behind.

Have you verified that your mysql allows network connections?
In order to allow network connections you have to comment or remove line "skip-networking" in my.ini(windows) or my.cnf(unix) configuration files of your mysql instance.
Or if you have the mysql administrator installed
MySQL Administrator / Startup Variables / Disable networking (uncheck)

Although the answer is going to be the same, I would prefer to know what version of Premiere Elements is involved and on what computer operating system it is running in order to get version specific when necessary without requesting the information later than sooner.

The idea is that whenever the Blu-Ray comes up, it always shows the beginning 25-second sequence, then always goes to a menu that says "Play Movie" and "Scene Menu" or something to that effect
Stop markers do not function in the playback of Premiere Elements (any version) Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc. They do in the playback of Premiere Elements (any version) DVD-VIDEO format on a DVD disc.
You would have to find another video editor for that purpose or export your Premiere Elements Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive and then taken into another program for menu creation (with a stop marker like feature) and burn to disc there. You would need to determine ahead of time what formats the other program support.
Blu-ray burn to project
If you have 9 scenes and place scene markers for each
a. the viewer can select any one of the scenes from the scene selection page
b. with or without stop markers, it will be the same at playback of the Blu-ray disc, example
if the viewer selects scene 5 from the scene selection page, playback will be scenes 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 with automatic
return to the main menu
if the viewer selects scene 1 from the scene selection page, playback will be scenes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 with automatic
return to the main menu
