JavaDoc for jpd, jws,... (BEA WebLogic)

Hi,
I'd like to integrate the JavaDoc tool in my Workshop Weblogic.
I can now generate documentation from java files but not from jpd or jws...
My problem is that I realized that JavaDoc cannot perform the jpd or jws files that are in use in WebLogic.
Does someone know any solution to solve that problem? (I already seached in bea help but didn't find anything).
Thanks for help

Hi,
Tell me in version of the workshop you are using to create webservices and try to deploy them.

  • Inqmy resource adapter for SAP with Bea Weblogic Server

              Hi everybody,
Anybody have tried to use INQMY resource adapter for SAP with Bea weblogic server
It works well with INQMY server, but with BEA I'm getting a lot of problems creating
              the connections.
              Thanks in advance.
              Xavi.

    All,
Here are the steps we (used for internal testing) had to perform to get
IN-Q-MY adapter for SAP to work with WebLogic:
The wli.adapter.inqmy.sapr3.spi package contains extensions to the
In-Q-My J2EE Connector Architecture classes to overcome some limitations
in the base implementation classes. To get around these issues, we had
to extend their R3ManagedConnectionFactory, R3ConnectionManager, and
              R3ConnectionFactory classes.
              * The javax.resource.spi.ManagedConnectionFactory implementation
does not over-ride the equals and hashCode methods correctly. This
              causes problems with WLS 6.1.
              * There is a bug in their javax.resource.spi.ConnectionManager
implementation for non-managed uses of the adapter. Consequently, their
adapter cannot be used in a non-managed scenario.
              * The javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory class does not support
the getConnection() method that does not take any arguments (it throws a
              null pointer exception).
I am attaching the classes discussed above.
              Cheers,
              Chris

  • Migrating from BEA WebLogic 5.1 (Windows 2000) to iAS9

    Hi!
I am looking for a step-by-step guide for migrating from BEA WebLogic 5.1 (Windows 2000) to iAS9. The guide should contain the detailed information on how to migrate servlets and EJBs.
    Some of my questions are:
    - What do I have to do when I have system startup files from WebLogic? Are there equivalent properties for iAS9?
    # Register a startup class by giving it a virtual name and
    # supplying its full pathname.
    #weblogic.system.startupClass.[virtual_name]=[full_pathname]
    # Add arguments for the startup class
    #weblogic.system.startupArgs.[virtual_name]={argname]=[argvalue]
    - How do I set the system properties?
    Phuoc
    null

This a response to the specific point of startup/shutdown classes, a whole Migration paper is underway
Since Servlet 2.2 and EJB containers in 9i AS run within the middle tier database instance,
the easier way to accompish what you want is to declare those classes as database startup/shutdown triggers (Java stored procedures).
You can also set session properties using the "modifyprops" command (cf Java Tools Reference)

  • Javadoc out of files with extensions jpd/jws/ejb/jcx

    Hi,
I see lot of messages on this newsgroup for javadoc help (unfortunately without any reply with solution except temporarily changing extension to .java).
I am facing the same problem of creating javadoc out of jpd/jws/ejb/jcx or .work file itself.
    Can anyone please guide me?

What do you mean "just like a java file"? Does it contain class, constructor, method and field declarations? Javadoc comments are interpreted only ahead of these declarations.
The javadoc tool is limited to java source files. It's pretty much a precondition of the javadoc tool that a source file must be able to be compiled by the javac compiler. Javadoc uses parts of javac to parse the source file and build a doc structure, using javac internal data structures. If your files cannot be compiled by javac, they are unlikely to be parsed by the javadoc tool (though there are exceptions for Java source files that have compiler errors). Javadoc tool also looks for the ".java" extension on files.

    Hi dkramer,
Sorry for the delay in the response.
I visited the link that you have mentioned:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/javadoc/faq/index.html#sourcecode
It redirects me to www.sun.com, and from there a series of steps begins. Then at one stage it says "Click here for download". I click this, but what is this. I am told that I have been LOGGED OUT! I tried downloading from different computers and with different accounts, but the same result.
I think that the source files download has been discontinued by Sun.
Can you actually try downloading the source files from this link and let me know the status?
    Thanx

Pssssst.... Barbarian is trying to be much more reasonable, he is asking me to download a zip de-compression utility for Linux, but I am the kind of person who prefers to climb up the mountain rather that try to get around it. In any case if anyone asks me in a job interview how would you build the javadocs for Linux, what do I tell them, decompress the zip file on Linux!

  • Support for the creation of a new BEA WebLogic Application Server v10.3

    To All,
After downloading and installing the Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (Ganymede: http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/ganymede) I attempted to create a new BEA WebLogic 10.3 server - since that is the version of the application server that I have installed on my machine.
I went to create the new server and selected "BEA WebLogic Server v10.0", since there was no option to select a WebLogic 10.3 server. I selected as the WebLogic Home directory "D:\BEA_HOME\wlserver_10.3" and received the error message: "The path "D:\BEA_HOME\wlserver_10.3" contains the wrong version of WebLogic Server. Expected version 10.0. Found version 10.3."
Is there some way that I can create a new WLS v10.3 in Eclipse Ganymede? Do I need to download an additional plugin?
Thanks in advance for your help on this,
    John Livingstone

Look for WLS 10.3 under Oracle rather than BEA group.

  • Trouble defining BAM Enterprise Message Source for BEA WebLogic Server

    Hi all,
I've just started to play a little with Oracle BAM Architect.
I've WLS 10.0 and Oracle BAM Architect 10g release 3.
On Oracle BAM Architect I've defined an Enterprise Message Source for BEA WebLogic Server as follows:
    Name: ALSBSource
    Owner: ...
    Type: BEA WebLogic Server
    Initial context factory: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    JNDI Service Provider URL: t3://mypc:7001
    TopicConnectionFactory name: com.myConnectionFactory
    Topic name: com.myBAMTopic
    JMS message type: TextMessage
    Durable subscriber name: BAMSubscriber
    Client ID: BAMSubscriber
Name | Flow name | Type | Max size | Formatting
    content | BAM | String | 1024 | (none)
On WLS 10.0 I've defined the required JMS stuff.
On Oracle Design Studio I've defined a plan that includes:
    - an Oracle BAM Enterprise Message Receiver from which I've selected the above 'ALSBSource' Enterprise Message Source
    - a simple Grid
I've connected the BAM Enterprise Message Receiver to the Grid and clicked on 'Update' button.
When I try to publish a message on 'com.myBAMTopic' I don't see anything on the grid defined in the Oracle Design Studio.
The first question is about the definition of an Enterprise Message Source for BEA WebLogic Server in the Oracle BAM Architect.
I did not change the Oracle BAM Architect classpath or Oracle Design Studio classpath adding the weblogic.jar, because no error has been raised during the configuration of the message source and the plan. Should I update Oracle classpath with the weblogic.jar ?
Did I forget any other step ?
I thank you in advance for any feedback.
    Regards
    ferp

ferp - I got this to work with
    JNDI Service Provider URL: http://localhost
    When I add the port
    JNDI Service Provider URL: http://localhost:23891
I cannot get my EMS to start.
Hopefully this should fix your issue.

The Web server plug-ins do not natively support outbound SSL connections
yet(i.e. SSL from the plug-in to WebLogic). This is a feature for version
6.0. You can use SSL from the browser to Apache or from the browser to
    WebLogic directly.
The majority of our customers use strict firewall rules to protect the
traffic between Apache and WebLogic. If they are paranoid, they use an SSL
    proxy or a VPN product.

    Hello,
I want to know how to connect Apache 1.3.12 with mod_ssl to BEA WebLogic5.1.0 on Solaris via HTTPS. I have heard that this can only work over t3...
is that true? If so, how can it be done securely? If that isn't the case,
how can httpd.conf/weblogic.conf be configured on the Apache server to talk
to the WebLogic server on port 7002? Both of the machines I am using are
running Solaris 7 with necessary patches. I have installed SP5 for WebLogic
and I have copied mod_wl.so and mod_wl_ssl.o to the Apache server for
    inclusion as modules.

The two servers communicate correctly over HTTP, but I want to be able toserve some JSPs via HTTPS from the WebLogic server through the Apache web
server. I have generated all the required CA and server certificates for
each server, and they both individually answer HTTPS requests, but do not
work when an HTTPS request is sent to the Apache server for a JSP that is
served from the WebLogic server. I read somewhere in the documentation for
5.1.0 that WebLogic will communicate via HTTPS to various web and proxy
    servers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

film leaders clips can be downloaded online if you dig around a bit ... Peter Wiggins has a nice Motion Template clock he offers for free (which is a bargain by anyones reckoning)
easy enough to create your own film leader style countdown with a few back to back text generators separated by clock wipe transitions
color bars can already found in your fcp video generators bin
color bars and a film leader style countdown can also be auto generated during output (print to video and edit to tape)
distort faces and license plate like they do on tv? ... ok i give up, what do you mean? if you mean you want to disguise them (Mosaic, Blur etc) then you can have a bash with my Region Blur plugin

  • I need to download the server runtime for BEA WEBLOGIC server

    Hi ^^,
I am trying to create a web project in Eclipse WTP europa. I do not have the bea weblogic server installed on my desktop. My organization has issues running it locally. I need to first create a project and then create a war and then deploy it on server.
I am going through the tutorial at the following website:
    http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/community/tutorials/BuildJ2EEWebApp/BuildJ2EEWebApp.html
It says "To do this tutorial you will need a server runtime that is supported by WTP"
Also "During web application development, we will need a server runtime environment to test, debug and run our project".
Hence I need the link where I can download the server runtime for bea weblogic server.

  • AMA Search Rule Files For BEA Weblogic

    ./stopWebLogic.sh[33]: -Xms256m: not found.
this can be produced by something like this:
javaoptions="-Xms256m" // or other option too
    $javacmd $javaoptions
Now if javacmd has not been set, then $javacmd will be evaluated to the empty string, and the program to look for is the first part in $javaoptions, -Xms256m in our case.

  • Re: Javadocs for controls/jpd

As far as I am aware there is no direct way to generate javadocs from JPDs.
A workaround could be to rename the JPDs as .java and use doclet api's to
    generate java docs.

    Hello,
We have built a huge WLI application involving around 150 JPDs and
around 300 controls. In each of the JPD/control, we have included javadoc
comments explaining the functional behavior. Is there a way we can
generate Javadocs for each of the JPDs and controls so that this can be
delivered as a guide along with our solution? Can somebody pls help? I
would want Javadocs to show a list of all JPDs defined with links to
different controls used in the JPD and links to any other utility classes
    developed. Is this possible?
    Thanks,
