Javascript error in designer

When using bpelz 0.9.10 I'm getting javascript exception in some cases:
1. When opening assign assistant I got:
Line: 289
Sign (I'm translating from Polish,don't remember what's in English IE): 3
Error: Exception thrown and did not catched
URL: (...)bpel.html
2. The same when trying pop up my XML Types.
I'm pretty sure that this is connected with my particular process and some malformed message/type definition in wsdl, but it seams that bpelz does not handle such kind of situation very well.

On compilation obant throws:
[bpelc] [Error ORABPEL-10102]: compilation failed
[bpelc] [Description]: XML parsering failed because "undefined part element.
[bpelc] In WSDL at "file:/E:/private_stuff/magisterka/mgr_workspace/CreditCardConnectivityProccess/CreditCardConnectivityProccess.wsdl", message part element "{http://AirlinesBooking.com}tns:CreditCardConnectivityProccessFault" is not defined in any of the schemas.
[bpelc] Please make sure the spelling of the element QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
I fixed my wsdl - it was double namespace prefix in message part definition, something like:
<message <part name="fault" element="tns:tns:CreditCardConnectivityProccessFault"/>
</message>
Maybe this will help You to fix problem with designer.

Javascript error when selecting Spry Menu Bar in Design View

Hi there,
I get the following error message when trying to format the Spry Menu Bar in Design View:
"while executing inspectSelection in spry_menu.htm, a Javascript error occurred."
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
deleting site cache
closing/re-opening Dreamweaver
deleting Spry Menu Bar and recreating - same error occurs.
Other information:
I am using a MacBook Pro
it happens when clicking on the Menu Bar itself. I just want to change the properties
the Spry Menu Bar does not appear in Live View.

Hi there,
The problem appears to have returned. I am getting the same error message as before and also an error saying there is a syntax error in my source code. Dreamweaver tells me which line the error is in:

I am using version 0.13 of SpryMenuBar.js (is this what you mean?)

My problem is: I create a new template (Page Designs CSS)
there is a frame for picture (280x200). When I try to right click
in it I get the following error message:

I'm using WinXP and DW 8.
I have tried to reinstall DW even with safe mode as described
in technote and tried renaming Configuration folder and deleted
wincash.dat file, too.
Can someone come up with a solution to fix this issue,
please?

BSP-App not working after upgrade to Netweaver 7 / Javascript error

Hey Gurus,
after our upgrade the BSP Application which runs before the upgrade now displays just a plain-Design - not the Design2003 and i got Javascript errors. This results in no function whatsoever.
Maybe someone have tipps what to look for (customizings, etc) to get this back runing?

Well, I've been trying out mySQL and Dreamweaver. I've found a book called Dreamweaver MX 2004 Design Projects and I am trying to write and get working Allan Kent's News Portal site as it seems to have all the things I want to learn in it.
However, my question is this:

Yes, it will generate a new one. That's the idea of deleting the one that has become corrupted. However, if it didn't fix the problem, it could mean that an extension is causing problems. The next stage is to delete or rename your personal configuration folder. Doing so reverts Dreamweaver back to all its default settings, and should clear any problem. The exercise to create a news website uses server behaviours. I have gone through the exercise and it didn't seem to work properly. So I went through and tried reapplying server behaviours and this is when I get the error message opening and closing the server behaviours. When it happens once it happens to all of them so I have to reboot DW.
I have read that server behaviours have a logical order on a web page and changing one effects the operation of others.
Server behaviors are simply PHP code that has been generated automatically by Dreamweaver. When applied correctly, they should work without problem. However, a lot of people use them without understanding any of the code generated by Dreamweaver. That's when problems arise. If you make a mistake, you can't just select things in Design view and press Delete. To remove a server behavior cleanly, you need to select its name in the Server Behaviors panel, and click the minus button.
Also, I know that Allan's instructions involve editing server behavior code. Once you do so, Dreamweaver usually no longer recognizes it as a server behavior, so you need to edit the code entirely in Code view. If you're not sure what you're doing, problems can again arise. I would suggest wiping the page clean, and starting again.
Allan is an experienced author and PHP developer, so I assume that his instructions are correct. However, mistakes do occur in books. I see there is no errata page for that book, but that doesn't mean it's free of mistakes. I submitted corrections to a couple of my books several months ago, but friends of ED hasn't bothered to put them on its website. You can download the example files for that book. If there's a set of complete files, test them in a browser. Then compare your files with the author's.

While executing findDynamicSources in SpryDataSet.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

I'm working with Spry datasets for some time now. But now I have a very annoying problem.
When I use the character '{' in any part of the HTML-sourcecode (HTML or JS) my Dreamweaver CS5 (11.0 build 4964) freezes and crashes.
When I try to examine the reason (by re-bulding part by part the code), I've got the message "While executing findDynamicSources in SpryDataSet.htm, a JavaScript error occurred." . Any ideas what is happening here?
I know, DW wants to analyze the inside of XML dataset, but it's not there. It will be generated online. So while editing the source code it's not available.

JavaScript Error : Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible,

I have one JSP page in my project where i am putting all input to save personal details of a person.
This personal details header contains button(to collapse or expand).
I input all details and save. It works fine but when i collapse the header and name, age etc are not visible.
Only Save and cancel button is visible. so i click on save and following javascript error show up :
Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus.
In case of expand mode,If there is any error while providing input in text boxes , i have given pop up to display that like " Name field is mandatory " and control focus to that field again. it works fine.
In case of collapse, as fields are not visible and if i directly click on save button. Pop up is displayed as usual "Name field is mandatory" but it pop up again javascript error

Please let me know how to reolve this?

CS5 WINx64 javaScript error on new any document.

Hi!
Either opening previous ones, or by creating new any document i get this error message in new javascript alert window:
"While executing onLoad Notes_onOpen.htm the following JavaScript error(s) occured.
In file "Design Notes_onOpen::
onOpen is not defined. "
I cannot findout where i would find a tip what this message comes from and what it concerns about...

I followed this and deleted the file mentioned with still no luck...let me re-boot and see what happens....
RE-booted...file still shows up everytime!! ARG!

Probably the stylesheets of your Portal are not compatible to the used Web Dynpro version.

Crystal reports 2008 drilldown javascript error

hi, i'm programing with visual studio 2003 and crystal reports 2008 in visual basic.
when i run my drilldown report show me this javascript error : "Loweboundtype is null or not is a object"
and the drilldown don't work.
mi os is windows XP, and my browser is Internet Explorer 6.
anybody know how can i fix this problem???

As per the issue description, you are using Visual Studio 2003 and Crystal Reports 2008 in Visual Basic. You get JavaScript error when you try to drill down the report.
We would like to know the following details:
- Does the report work fine with Standalone Crystal Reports Designer?
- Exact version of Crystal Reports Designer. (To get this information, open Crystal Designer and go to Help> About Crystal Reports)
- If you get the error while refreshing the report through application, then I would suggest you to post this query on the Java forum to get better assistance.

Copy/paste javascript error in DW8

All of a sudden, when I copy and paste a line of code in code
or design view, I get the following error message:
"While executing onLoad in Paste Interaction.htm, a

I've reinstalled Dreamweaver 8 and that doesn't fix the

Javascript error during translation in portal

While translation make sure u dont leave a space in the end in the translated text.
I found this error resolved after removing the spaces from the end of the translated text.

Javascript error message loading dreamweaver mx

this may be two different questions but here goes:
-- i downloaded the interakt kollection a while back and just
got time to use it. by now i noticed that a newer version was
available so i downloaded it. but it crashed my machine trying to
update. and an error message now comes up about a javascript error
trying to load one of the interakt files. i put the system back 24
hours but the same error comes up. i click okay and dreamweaver mx
continues, but what does it mean?
-- i'm just starting php programming and perform the simplest
function, saving a .php site in apache2\htdocs and a file within
the site. but when i try to run the php from the livedata view, i
get a http 404 message about the doc not found. no wonder: the doc
is not the one i saved, but has a longer file name. tried this a
couple of times with different file names and the same thing
happens. suggestions please.

You may need to uninstall and then reinstall DW &
Interakt. The issue that
you are probably running into is that Interakt changed some
of the DW files
which worked until the DW 8.02 update came out, and rewrote
those files. The
Interakt updater probably relies on finding the updated DW
files.
When you preview a file DW creates a temporary version of it,
and runs that,
and then deletes it. You can not reference these temporary
versions in any
other way.

JavaScript error in IE8 with shared iPhoto Journals

I like iPhoto for iOS a lot: soo easy to build and design photo journals.
BUT: when I publish iPhoto Journals in iCloud and share the link to with others, they tell me they cannot see anything else than the headline and the background pattern... no pictures.
In Safari on iOS devices I have no issues to see the Journal. Same for Windows PCs with Google Chrome browser.
But when I use Internet Explorer 8 browser, the Journal stops loading after the background image is shown.
And the small javascript error indicator tells that IE8 stopped loading/rendering due to JavaScript issues within the JS-code of the page.
As I have no influence on JavaScript of the shared Journals, I would urgently like Apple to test and fix the issue.
Also in iOS Safari with enabled Debug Console the JavaScript errors are specified...

JAVASCRIPT ERROR WHEN DISABLED THE WELCOME AREA

Hi sdn,
I have modified our portal design. I set the welcome area and the logo area to the value none. Now I am always getting a javascript error when I call the side in my browser.
I get the message that an object is missing and the browser can not set the focus to an element ==> because I have disabled two areas of the portal header.
I have recognized this problem in all portal releases from EP6SP2 to EP6SP9.
What can I do to prevent these error messages?

I think this issue is fixed by this note : 798647. Suggested to go with latest hotfix.
