We've repeated all the steps and I think we're a bit closer to fixing the problem.
What i've got now is a duplicate of the GA code but I'm unsure of where to find the duplicate. See below for the code that appears on the "thank you, payment success" page.
The text that is struck out shouldn't be there, however I can't find where it exists. It's also not in the "order_receipt-AU.html" page where we put the other segment of code.
Do you know of a way we can find out where the struck out code could be?

Iphone os 3.1 issues, cause of error !?

Hello,
maybe I am on of a thousound who is experiencing issues for OS 3.1.
I've got the frozen iphone problem,
when trying to unlock the slider after standby.
And just the same for taking calls from standby.
Besides,
my phone won't suddenly dial out .
No ringtone nothing, but the display tells me I am dialing.
I've read that a lot of you have the same problems.
And I searching for a possible cause of this problem.
And I think I've found (one).
My Iphone runs absolutely OK for days, no problem.
But when listening to music from the internal ipod interface,
all these problems occur.
Memory cleans do not solve these issue.
I have to restart.
Can anyone confirm this ?
It seems to be worse with big audio files like podcasts.
BTW: Is Apple working on these problems ?
Till now I was absolutely happy with my macbook and iphone.
NO problemes, never at all.

Several of us are having this problem with VPN and also the App Store. The paste will work ONCE after a hard reset (not sure about a regular reset). Then it will not work again until another reset. Since this problem happens in the App Store, which is an intrinsic part of OS 3.1, the problem is clearly Apple's to fix. Please make sure you file a defect on the Apple Feedback page for the iPhone so that they will look at it and fix it. I would not have upgraded if I had known about this problem in advance because of the VPN paste issue created using the RSA Token app. Now you have to memorize the digits while in the RSA app and then type them into VPN, all in the given time allotted. Not good...

Bug? calling javascript click() on a hidden button causes js error on page

I call the .click() method on a hidden button to cause the page to refresh. This works OK, but when the page comes back up, it has a javascript error on it. It turns out the error is from some javascript that is trying to set the focus on the hidden button that was clicked, which causes an error in IE (This doesn't seem to bother Firefox) .
While I imagine that there are workarounds, why should the underlying faces architecture be setting the focus to a hidden button?
It's easy to duplicate:
Create new page. Add two buttons. For the first, make it invisible (uncheck visible in properties), then cause it to submit a virtual form.
For the second, add this to the onclick:
document.getElementById("form1:button1").click();return false;
Bring up the page, click on the visible button. The page will refresh, and you'll have a nice js error.
BTW: Obviously, I don't want to click one button from another. What I want is a way to cause an action to happen from javascript. I can't imagine it would work to simply submit a form from javascript, so I use this method. It works fine except for the error. Is there a better way to do this?

This is a browser specific problem.So it's ok to set the focus to a hidden button because firefox is more relaxed about this obvious error than explorer is? When would anyone really want a hidden button to gain focus? What do I tell my users--don't use explorer, because it doesn't like it when faces sets the focus to a hidden button? I don't really see how the use case matters. I gave a very easy example how to duplicate this problem. The reason that I want to do this is that there are many places to enter javascript code that don't allow for an action to be triggered. I have many instances of this. For example, I'd like a mouseover on an edit field to cause an action. I can capture this in javascript, but I can't cause any server side processing. To get around this limitation, I call the hidden button's .click method, which does cause a server side event.
Here's a simpler, more direct incarnation of this error that doesn't involve javascript.
Create a new page. Put an element on it, like an edit box. Put a button on the page. For its action, put:

Use Case: After the user presses the button, they shouldn't be allowed to press or see it again.

CRM 2013 - Inconsistent javascript issue crash the web client and user needs to reopen

We are using CRM 2013 on premise version and almost 600 users are using it. We have some inconsistent JavaScript issue (following is the log for same) which happens to users in a day or two. When this issue occurs user can not work in system and they have
to open new instance of CRM.

It's not on specific forms, so can't identify that. Yes we have iframes on some forms.

A view, function and TO_DATE causing an error.

I have the following statement which calls a view, VW_DIST_RPT_WORK_LIST which in turn calls a function which returns either 'Null' or a date string e.g. '07 Oct 2003' as a VARCHAR2 (alias PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE).

I need to be able to specify a date filter on the PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE field and hence used the TO_DATE(PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE) <= TO_DATE('31/12/2003', 'DD/MM/YYYY') but this is generating an ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric character was expected.
I think the problem lies with the fact that this field can contain 'Null' which cannot be converted to a date using TO_DATE. I've tried adding a NOT LIKE ('NULL%') statement to catch any nulls which may be creeping in bu this doesn't solve the problem.
I've added TO_DATE(PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE) to the select above to determine if the nulls are being caught and if the TO_DATE in performing the conversion correctly which it is on both counts.
Any ideas anyone ?

The answer provided above by Monika will work for this situation. However, you should seriously think whether you should be using a string for date datatype. Ideally, you should rewrite the function that returns PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE and change the return type to DATE. The least you should do is to return NULL (instead of the string 'NULL') from the function. Oracle handles nulls perfectly, there is no reason you should write code to handle nulls;
One more thing. Looking at the type of error you are receiving, it seems that you are using rule based optimizer. Why do I think so? Because, in rule based optimizer, the conditions are evaluated in a specific order (viz, bottoms-up for AND clauses). To show this, look at the following simple demonstration. I did this in Oracle 8.1.6 (also in 9.2.0.4.0 on Windows).

Does the above example seem familiar to your case? Even though you had the AND UPPER(PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE) NOT LIKE('NULL%') in your query, a record with PROJECTED_DELIVERY_DATE = 'NULL' was evaluated first and that caused the error.

Several Issue: Stale Data Error with 2 pages opened at same time

Hello Gurus,
I developed an OAF page to create and also update records. My page, depending from the operation, can show the data on fields, for update, or blank, on case to create records. This page contains one LOV field, input fields and textarea field to get the data.
When i try record or update using one page per time, the LOV field works fine and records are uptodated with success.
But if i use 2 pages or more in these situations:
- one page is opened in update operation;
- another page to create a new record.
Issue: When i click to change the LOV field value on create page, or update page, the Lov pop-up is opened with success, but when i click in another value, i get this error below. Any action also can cause this error, like click on Back Button (with name 'Voltar', created by me). Please see the error below:

Hi,
Can you please tell, if you are using the same EO/VO combination for both the operation - Insert and Update on both screens.
Quite possible, that when you open two screen in say Update Mode and you open the two List Of Values, then as soon as you have selected the value in one of the LOV, the Other LOV will throw you stale data as the same VO/EO is being used.
Try using two different EOs/VOs combination and see if that helps.

What are you trying to do here?
mybutton doesn't exist until 'lnkBtn_delete' is loaded onto
the page.

TS3694 What is the cause of "error 1015" when trying to restore and update an iPhone 3gs?

What is the cause of "error 1015" when you're trying to restore and update an iphone 3gs? My iphone is currently in recovery mode and can not get out of it. All the information about my iphone shown on itunes is only marked as- N/A. How can I get my iphone out of recovery mode and get it to recover and update?

Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.
In other words, either your phone is jailbroken and you are sadly out of luck or you are trying to downgrade iOS.

How to find out the column causing the error while doing update or insert

I'm getting the below error when attempt to update or insert a long string that is more than its defined length in the DB2. For example in table the column length is defined as 50, however from UI the data for that column is more than 50 chars.

The above issue can be fixed by setting maxlength in the UI itself. However in my case, there is a backend program trying to insert or update load of records. If the exact column name causing the error is known, it will be helpful to load the data properly in the next attempt.
I have worked around it using SQLWarning and DataTruncation, but couldn't find the solution yet.
Any help on this issue will be really appreciated.

How you implement doesn't matter.
However given a schema generating code for such validation is trivially simple at least for field types and sizes. Relationships are harder but those can be handled via custom rules.

If not possible, then validation logic needs to be implemented.Having seen something similar in Oracle years ago I seriously doubt that you are going find it magically appearing in JDBC/hibernate. There might be warning on the SQLException (see the java docs for SQLException) but I wouldn't count on it. Other than that the only possibility is making some sort of call in db2 itself that tells you the error. Only problem with that is it might require the context which might not be available once you see the error (presuming, especially for performance, that you are using batch processing.)
As a start figure out how to find out using only db2 (docs and/or db2 forums.)

HT4076 What causes this error?

I get this error every couple of weeks. This completely defeats the purpose of running Time Machine. Anybody know what might cause this error?
My setup is a Mac 21.5" running OSX 10.7.3 connected via WiFi to an Airport Extreme (firmware v7.6.1). The Airport Extreme is connected via Ethernet-cable to a Synology DS411j (DSM 4.0) on which the Time Machine sparsebundle resides. Another Mac also uses the SAN for Time Machine backups and hasn't had any troubles sofar.

Download and use 5.6 utility for Lion.. v6 in Lion can run alongside 5.6 to provide pretty network pictures.

Yes, if you are going to fix names fix them properly. No spaces no non-alphanumeric.. it is not that some special characters cannot be used.. it is to reduce the chance of problems. Wireless names (SSID) does not contribute to security at all.. except that it is good to use a name different to standard. ie if all brandx modems and routers use wireless name brandx it allows people to precompile lists of brute force attack. If the name is different they need to create it on the spot.. but in neither case is it a big issue.
I name the TC.. TC3 for example.. call the 2.4ghz wireless TC24ghz and the 5ghz TC5ghz. Just use something that makes good sense to you so you can identify it as your signal not your neighbours.
BTW, does that mean I'll have two networks?
No both 2.4ghz and 5ghz will share the same ip range and can talk to each other.
It is just like having two different ethernet cables. The problem with wireless, is it is single channel half-duplex.. and like the old thin ethernet, everybody shares the same band.. and divides the bandwith. Using two different bands allows two computers to talk at the same time.

I have downloaded all IP changer Privacy software I have purchased and am trying to install it, and although it is made to work with WindowsME that I am currently using on my computer, it now says it requires Firefox 3 or above to be able to install the software. Therefore, I am trying to update my Firefox to current 3.6 but once Firefox 3.6 downloads it doesn't install. Instead I just keep getting the same error message: Setup has caused an error in SETUP.EXE. Set up will now close. Several times, I have also tried restarting the computer as the error message also recommended But I just still keep getting the same error message when I try to update/install Firefox 3.5. Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever version of Firefox for Win98 / SE / ME.
You can get it from here, but you are better off using K-Meleon (derived from Firefox) or Opera instead an old version of Firefox:

You can try KernelEx to get Firefox 3+ to work, but it would be very slow with an old PC of less than 750Mhz. 3.5 and later supposedly doesn't work.

Issue with SRDemo error handling

Glad the forums are back up and running. In debugging some error-handling issues in our own application, I found an issue in the error handling code of SRDemo. I thought I'd post the issue here, as many of us (myself included) use some SRDemo code as the basis for our own applications.
The issue can be found in the oracle.srdemo.view.frameworkExt.SRDemoPageLifecycle class, specifically in the translateExceptionToFacesErrors method. I'll show the code that has the issue first, and explain the issue afterwards:

            }Now, this bit of code attempts to be "smart" and only show error messages relating to attributes if those attributes are in fact displayed on the screen. It does so by using a utility method to find a control binding for the attribute name. There are two issues with this code, one obvious, and one that is a bit more subtle.
The obvious issue: if there is a binding in the page definition, it doesn't necessarily mean that the attribute is shown on the screen. It's a good approximation, but not exact.
The other issue is more subtle, and led to errors being "eaten," or not shown, in our application. The issue comes if you are using an af:table to display and update your data. In that case, the findControlBinding will not find anything for that attribute, since the attribute is contained within a table binding.
Just posting this as a word to the wary.

Yes, I simply scripted it out this way to contrast the behaviour if the first attribute was read-only vs not read-only. I found the issue on a page in our app that was simply drag-and-drop the VO from the data control on the page.
It's quite annoying, because our particular use case that hit this error is a "save" button on the page. If the commit operation doesn't return any errors (and it doesn't in this use case!), we add a JSF message saying "save successful" - then the attribute errors are further added later in the page lifecycle, so we get 3 messages: "Save successful" and "Fix this error" and "Tried to set read-only attribute" - quite confusing to the end-user when the only message they should see is "fix this error."
At any rate, the fix is to simply re-order the attributes in the page definition - that doesn't affect the UI at all, other than to fix this issue.
