JDBC adapter - not initialized after error

Hi,
While doing maintenance on the DB2 server we get the following error:
com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection to URL 'XXXXXXXXXXXX': com.ibm.db2.jcc.b.SQLException: IO Exception opening socket to server XXXXX on port XXXXX. The DB2 Server may be down.
This is expected. But, after this error occurs the JDBC receiver adapter becomes unknown or not registered. Even after the DB2 server is brought back up when we process a mesasge through the adapter we get the following error:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: JDBC Adapter configuration not initialized: null
Doing a cache refresh resolves the issue, but is this expected? Should a DB2 connection issue cause the JDBC adapter to no longer be registered?

-->yes, adapter framework is designed like that.
based on your cache refresh settings Adapter engine will update the details and register the service again. i think the cache refresh settings were not defined properly for your server that is the reason it gave you that error and manually refresh is required.

Dear All,
In Adapter Monitoring, i am not able to see the JDBC adapter in the Onlly Installed and Started Adapters, but i am able to see the JDBC Adapter in the All Adapters.
When i tried to restart the JDBC adapter service in the Visual Administration, there it not giving option for either stopping or starting the JDBC adapter.
DefaultTrace log is as shown below.

Saying that JDBC Configuration is not Active.
Once again cross check all the config is Activated & also Test your Config Using Config Test Tool in ID
And also check in RWB-Adapter Engine-Adapter monitoring ---select the option instaled & Started. whether the JDBC Adapter is working fine or not

I tried to use the mail-Adapter in an receiver-channel...
Now i have the problem that in communication channel monitoring the mail adapter has a red LED with the comment "not initialized" ...
How can I activate the adapter? Whats wrong??

Error :Receiver File Channel not Initialized - check that thread. The last post says that it was resolved by restarting the entry for the particular adapter in Vis. Adm.

Getting "cipher not initialized" after upgrading proxy

Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading our proxy servers (as well as Weblogic) to Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 (formerly iPlanet). We are currently on Weblogic 8.1 SP6. After doing the upgrade, our code is erroring out with this message:
Original Exception:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cipher not initialized
at javax.crypto.Cipher.update(DashoA12275)
at com.certicom.tls.provider.Cipher.update(Unknown Source)
I have a feeling that this has something to do with the 8.1 ciphers not liking the ciphers on SJSWS 7.0.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

This is probably caused by nCipher Cipher.init method failing for the initialization parameters it received. As a result the Cipher does not get initialized and throws exception every time it is used.
It might be you are using newer nCipher version than the version supported in 810, and its Cipher impl is not compatible with the previous nCipher version.

Sender JDBC adapter not picking up data

I'm using an adpater to poll dta from two tables using the below query:

However, the adapter doesn't pick any data and gives the below log continuously.

I have tried running th equery in the SQL server and it works properly.
I even tried restarting the adapter, inactivating and activating it, restarted the adapter in Visual admin. There are no locks for the jdbc adapter in the Visual admin.
Can anyone please suggest what other measures can I take to solve this issue.

I doubt whether this works with Jdbc adapter even though the query fetches data when executed on database. The query selects two tables (TPartOrderMaster and TPartOrderDetail) which could be problamatic. Instead can you list out the resultant table(after join) fields in Select query instead of table names?

Hdmi adapter not working after upgrade to iOS8

I Had used an hdmi adapter to comment my iPad2 to my TV with great ease. After upgrading to IOS 8 I plugged it in as ususal, the screen popped up on the TV for a moment then the TV went blank and I got an error on the pad that said this device was not supported. HELP!!!!

I have iPad 2 it just happen to me right after I updated to IOS 8 but it has happen to me before in IOS 7. I have Sony TV to fix it I would shut the TV off unplug then plug the HDMI adapter back into the IPad then turn on the tv. It still has back screen then I would touch the screen for input then the picture is on . Sometimes I would have to do this couple times . I would go months without any problems then the message would show up then I would have to do the something over again. Do not know if it's the Sony TV or the IPad not communicating with each other. The HDMI adapter I have is from Apple.

Lightning to vga adapter not working after ios 7 update

After I installed ios 7 on my iphone and ipad, lightning to vga adapter A1439 stopped working on both machines. I thought that the first update would solve this problem. However, I recently installed 7.0.3 update but both machines still can not see the adapter. I tried adapter on different ios 6 machines and it works just fine.
Will there be an update for this issue? Did you have the same problem?

My Hdmi adapter (orig. Apple) is not working anymore after upgrade to iOS 8, is there any solution.

The IOS 8 update has nothing to do with the failure of the device. I have a HDMI adapter and it has worked fine through IOS 6, IOS 7 and IOS 8.
You may want to restart your device by holding the home and power button until the Apple logo appears. If the adapter still fails to work you need to determine if the adapter has failed or the port on your device has failed. Best solution is to go to the Apple store with the device and the adapter. If your adapter has failed it may be under warranty if you still have the sales receipt. If the port on your device is bad then the Apple store will be able to provide you with options.

Win 2102: existing number of virtual desktops is not valid after errors while deleting , how to fix it ?

I created a virtual desktop collection with a name format like this , prefix = VDI-, suffix= 1 .
so when I created the first VMs , I had VDI-1 and VDI-2 , later after recreating the VMs, adding new ones and deleting others, the suffix numbers are no longer in sequence , like I started having VDI-1,VDI-2,VDI-8,VDI-9.
I realized I had one problem that probably caused this, because when I delete a VM , I get a warning message:
"RD connection broker could not delete the computer account object from active directory."
so I searched about that error and I added the needed permissions and now deleting seems to work without any warning.
now I have two VMs, when I go through the wizard , the first page it shows I have 2 VMs but in the second page it shows I have 11 ! is there a way to reset the count ? if I delete the entire collection and create it again , will I have any problem with the
roaming users profiles ?

Thank you for your posting in Windows Server Forum.
You can specify the count for RDVH as how many desktop wants for particular host. You can do this “Specify Virtual Desktop allocation” while creating virtual desktop collection. Other than that you can also use PowerShell command to achieve your task.

Premiere Elements 12 does not start after error message: display driver is incompatible

After successful installation and starting Premiere Elements the following error message appears: "Uncompatible display driver identified. Update the display driver for a better and faster playback performance!" Hopefully my translation from German is helpful enough. I confirmed with OK but unfortunately Premiere Elements does not start. I checked the display driver: it is the most actual one: AMD Radeon HD 7610M. Furthermore the hardware should be OK as well: ASUStek with an Intel Core i5-2450M CPU @2.5 GHz; 6 GB RAM; 64 Bit Windows 7 Service Pack 1. What can I do?

Recap...please confirm that as of this date, the problem exists with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

If you issue was specific to the display card error that you have been getting then probable conclusions
a. the ADM Radeon H7610M driver version is not up to date
or
b. the ADM Radeon H7610 M video card/graphics card installed as is is not compatible with Premiere Elements 12 on your Windows 7 SP1 64 bit
The updated driver version and the BadDrivers.txt file deletion should have corrected the problem unless there is a gross mismatch between Premiere Elements 12 and ADM Radeon H7610M.
Did you use the link that John posted to get the auto detection of the latest driver version for the ADM card?
If we have gone as far as we can with the card and its driver version angle on this, then we can try the generalized troubleshooting drills with no guarantees, just hopes
1. Delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists.

and in the 12.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. You just need to make sure to have the computer's Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited.
2. If "1" has no effect on the issue...uninstall, ccleaner run through time, reinstall with antivirus and firewalls turned off.
a. Control Panel/Program, select Adobe Premiere Elements 12, right click the entry and click on the Uninstall pop up. Then follow the instructions for the uninstall.
b. Download and install the free ccleaner for a computer run through to get rid of leftovers from incomplete uninstalls and installs.

When you are ready for this step, I will give you a step by step through the ccleaner (regular cleaning part and registry cleaning part).
c. Reinstall from your installation files or installation disc, with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

The problem in your code is you haven't mentioned the server URL which is needed to subscribe.
dojox.cometd.init("cometd"); this is a wrong intitialization instead you have to use
dojox.cometd.init("http://localhost:9002/pubsub"); or something like this with an appropriate URL. In this URL /pubsub is context path and not the default channel you subscribe. This was the reason for your error (cometd init failed)

Thunderbolt Network Adapter not working after yosemite upgrade

After I upgraded to Yosemite, my MBP Retina 13" doesn't see the link on thunderbolt network adapter. The wireless is totally unreliable and freeze every few min for 1-2 min which is long enough to disconnect any sessions. Turn off and on of wireless works and recovers but it's royal pain. Any suggestions?
I scheduled call with Apple 3 times today. They call me back at the scheduled time and immediately tell me that I missed their call even though I pickup on 1st ring. Been waiting in their support queue for more than 30 min now and no one is on line yet.

I have the same blooming problem, it seems to be totally hit and miss whether the adapter works or not.
I thought is was a faulty adapter, so even bought a second one for my MacBook Pro, so a bit more profit for the most profitable company in the world for a non working device. My ethernet cable works fine to an old apple USB adapter but is 90% useless with Thunderbolt.
Renewing the DHCP lease occasionally works, but totally unreliable, at the moment it fails.
Still looking for a reliable solution.
Come on Apple, please sort this out, you have a connector policy of turning everything you can into adapters and dongles rather than building them in, so you end up with a slim laptop and a bag of adapters to carry around, and then when they don't even work - doubly annoying.

Wlan adapter not recognized after Standby (S205, Windows 8)

I installed Windows 8 to my Lenovo IdeaPad S205 Netbook just a few days ago. Unfortunately, I have problems with Wlan. In the beginning, it didn`t work at all. Then I found a thread in this forum, where somebody recommended to set the network as the first booting device. Doing so made the Wlan work!
But, after using the Standby-Mode of the netbook, Wlan doesn`t work again. The system says the adapter would be deactivated, though it certainly is activated. To make Wlan work again, I have to reboot the netbook.
I also noticed that sometimes it is not possible to start the Bios while booting. Always when that`s the case, Wlan doesn`t work.
I installed the newest drivers, also a driver I got from Atheros, the newest Windows 8 updates and I tried to de-/activate Lan adapter and to change the energy management setting - without sucess.
It seems I´m not the only one with these problems, but I didn`t find any solution so far.
Do you have any idea?

If you're having issues accessing the BIOS after a shutdown, check this article.
As for the WLAN card not being recognized or not being able to detect wifi networks, try to:
1. Turn the computer OFF and remove the wifi antenna (see page 42 of the hardware maintenance manual)
2. Turn the computer ON and when it gets to Windows, shut the PC off.
3. Reconnect the wifi antenna and turn the PC ON.
If you still get the same problem, try to Install Ubuntu via Wubi (can be uninstalled after) and try to check if you can now detect wifi networks. If everything's ok on Ubuntu, you need to reinstall Windows and load the wireless driver on Windows Setup as discussed in this article.
