  • Error while executing the SOAP-XI-JDBC(syn) scenario

    Dear Forum,
We have done SOAP-XI-JDBC(synch) scenario with out BPM.
When we sent the request data from EP to Oracle database through XI, we got an error,Runtime in Message-Mapping transformation~.
com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Runtime in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns:Customer/customers. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd at com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf3.AMappingProgram.start(AMappingProgram.java:291)
Exception message says that it is a mapping issue. But we got the responce data from database along with this message. In message monitoring we got the message processed successfully.
Now i am not able to understanding why it throughs an error Runtime in Message-Mapping transformatio~ first time ?
Pls revert me to fulfill this task successfully.
    Points will be rewarded.

  • Webservice to JDBC BPM scenario

    Hi Experts,
I have created the below objects for the Webservice to JDBC BPM scenario.
    Data Type
    1. DT_SOAPRequest
    2. DT_SOAPResponse
    3. DT_JDBCRequest
    4. DT_JDBCResponse
    MessageType
    1. MT_SOAPRequest
    2. MT_SOAPResponse
    3. MT_JDBCRequest
    4. MT_JDBCResponse
    Message Interface
    1. MIIS_JDBC_In  - Inbound Synch(With JDBCRequest(Input message) and JDBCResponse(Output message)
    2. MIOS_SOAP_Out - - Outbound Synch(With SOAPRequest(Input message) and SOAPResponse(Output message)
    3. SOAPRequest_ABS - Abstract Asynch for SOAP Request
    4. SOAPResponse_ABS - Abstract Asynch for SOAP Response
    5. JDBCRequest_ABS - Abstract Asynch for JDBC Request
    6. JDBCResponse_ABS - Abstract Asynch for JDBC Response
    Is the object are correct?
Already raised the same below request..but still confused with BPM flow
    BPM scenario
    Please help me out..
    Thanks in Advance
    Sara

    Hi Sara:
Container variable : You have to create 3 variables...
    1. Name : ReceiveMessage
       Category : Abstract
       Type : MI_AA_SOAP_Req
    2. Name : SendSynch
       Category : Abstract
       Type : MI_AS_SOAP_ReqResp
    3. Name : Send
       Category : Abstract
       Type : MI_AA_SOAP_Resp
    BPM Steps:
    1. Create Receive Step :
    In properties :
    Message = MI_AA_SOAP_Req
    Mode = Open S/A Bridge
    Synchronous INterface = MI_AS_SOAP_ReqResp
    2. Create Send Step
    In propereties :
    Mode = Synchronous
    Synch Interface = MI_AS_SOAP_ReqResp
    Req Message = MI_AA_SOAP_Req
    Resp Message = MI_AA_SOAP_Resp
    3. Again create Send step
    In propereties :
    Mode = Close S/A Bridge
    Message = MI_AA_SOAP_Resp
    Opened by = Receive
I almost provide you each step to create BPM:)
Try and let me us now if you find any difficulty.
    Thanks
    Farooq.

    Opend by : Receive step
    ID
    Business Service & communication channel
    1. BS_SOAP ( For Sender Interface, I have mentioned SOAP_Out_Sync_ReqResp -->Is this correct)
       a) CC_SOAP - Default Interface Name : What we have to give here ?SOAP_Out_Sync_ReqResp or SOAP_Out_Sync_ReqResp
    2. BS_JDBC ( Receiver Interface : JDBC_In_Sync_ReqResp)
One more question, while creating webserive which interface name we have to give Abs_Sync or Outbound_Sync? Not comfortabel with Configuration part, please share your inputs.
    Regards
    Sara

    Hi Sekhar,
I need info on only Message Interface in SOAP Service, SOAP CC and while creating webserivce from Integration Directory -> Tools -> Define webservice -> 3rd step. I have done with the remaining Sender Agreement, Receiver Agreement, Receiver Determination, Interface Determination..
Confusion is, I have to use whether SOAP_Abs_synch or  SOAP_Outbound_synch interface...

  • RFC to Jdbc Synch Scenario

    Hi,
I have a scenario like RFC to JDBC synch scenario, so what would be the QOS for sending( RFC) communication channel and as well as JDBC communicaiton channel.
    Thanks n Advance.,
    Xeon

    Hi,
Neither the Sender RFC adapter nir the Receiver JDBC adapter provide the option to select the QOS.
In your case if the report triggering the call to XI is making a Synch Call then the QOS in the SOAP header will be BE. If the Inbound Interface for the Receiver JDBC adapter is also a Synchronous Interface the QOS is taken as BE for the Receiver JDBC adapter.
You need not manually change the QOS anywhere as long as you are using Synch message interfaces.

    Bhavesh

  • HTTP-JDBC sync scenario - detailed error message

    Hi all,
    We have a sync HTTP-JDBC (DB2) scenario.
The sender is expecting a meaningful error message.
HTTP is on ABAP and JDBC is on the Java engine.
So how can I get the error message on the JDBC adapter to be passed to the user.
Say I would like to pass the sql-codes that I find at the Communication Channel monitoring for the comm Channel.
    reg

    Hi,
One suggestion is to configure alerts at adapter engine level..
to get the error messages to concerned user.
    Regards,
    Sreenivas.

  • JDBC Sender scenario

    Hi All,
    I am creating a JDBC -> Idoc scenario.I have a clarification required,
Do I need to create the DataType(Sender JDBC Structure) with all the fields in the table ,or if it is OK to create a Datatype with only the fields of the table which I am going to extract.
    Thanks,
    Venu

You do not have to include all the fields in your data type, it depends on your business requirement.
To create datatype quickly and effeciately, you can down load a tool I wrote:

up date target side SQL server database tables, in case if any error happens error/success message must go back to SAP
    one Z table with response.
When you do an update you can get back the number of rows updated in the JDBC response....you can find this in the help page showing JDBC structure. If you are looking for any other response then probably the message needs to be genarated by PI itself after checking the response from JDBC.

  • Problem in XI - JDBC (oracle) Scenario, case sensitive column name

I had a XI -> JDBC scenario, connecting to a SQL server, where the query was being generated using Message Mapping (XML SQL Format),
now the database has been migrated from SQL server to Oracle, and we are using the same XI scenario, but now the problem is, the query generated using message mapping doesnt work because it seems the query (UPDATE statement) requires the field name as having All capital letters, i mean the Column name in query to Oracle has become case sensitive,
    can u help me out

    Hi
Oracle doesnt have restriction that Query has to be in uppercase for any column. But it is good go use Upper case for the Query.
Use oracle editor to do the query if it is working fine and then use XML SQL in XI
Check this thread SAP has given some

  • No response message in Proxy to JDBC synchronous scenario

    Dear Team,
I am working on synchronous scenario Sender ABAP proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 <===> Oracle Database. All the necessary proxy configuration has been successfully tested.
    Business Scenario:
ABAP proxy will send a single Vendor Id to Oracle DB as request and in return , it has to retrieve all the columns related to Vendor as response.Oracle Database stores all the Vendor information. There are 11 columns including the vendor Id in the view for the Vendor records.
    Design :
    For Request structure:
a-->Created MT for Sender ABAP Proxy with only 1 field for Vendor Id.
b-->Created MT for Receiver JDBC  with Action as SELECT , Table with "View Name" , Access with Constant Blank for all 11 column and Key as Vendor Id.
I have been following  the link and Bhavesh Kantilal document.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/44/7b7171fde93673e10000000a114a6b/content.htm?frameset=/en/44/7b7855fde93673e10000000a114a6b/f
    rameset.htm&current_toc=/en/ca/b977f1c7814201954f20bb87ad7aab/plain.htm&node_id=71
    For Response structure:
Created MT for Receiver JDBC with All the column names.
Created MT for target ABAP ECC with the same 11 column name of JDBC response.
    Note :
1.Database team shared a excel file as a sample payload which has all the column names of a vendor and I created my DT with the same naming conventions as they are maintaining in their database i.e. Column names are in CAPs, in the same order and even the special characters in the column name.
    2. The PING test connection for Cc works fine to database.
Please read out my queries as the I am not receiving any response from Oracle DB and gives error as timeout exception:
1.Since I am trying to retrieve all the column of the view , am I doing the correct procedure of putting all the column name in the JDBC request structure and making a Select statement. Can I add < * > to fetch all the column name and if so where can I add it.
    2. Whats the difference between SELECT and SQL_QUERY and on what circumstances I can add it?
    3. How can I test ICO in ID?
    4. Can I use any SOAP tool to test the messages? Is there any functionality in NWA to test the messages directly to JDBC .
Hope all your inputs can improve my design part.
    Regards
    Rebecca

  • File-XI-JDBC(MSAccess) scenario

    Dear All,
I am working on a simple scenario in which I want to update a database table maintained in MSAccess at my local machine from the data maintained in a flat file through XI.
I am able to do the configuration part for sender but I am not getting the setting to be done in ID for JDBC(MSAccess) adapter.
Please guide me on how to go forward on this.

  • Jdbc-rfc scenario

    Hi..All,
We are doing JDBC-RFC synchronous scenario using BPM, we are getting (Req & Res) data in to SXMB_MONI perfectly, the data is not updating into the Database Table, client wants to see the data in the DB only. how can i get the data in to DB Table.
    thanks in advance,
    Pasi.

    Hi..Seshagiri,
In the JDBC Receiver CCM we are getting the follwing error
JDBC message processing failed; reason Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'Oracle DB Table' (structure 'ITEMDETAILS_RESPONSE'): java.sql.SQLException
we are sending multiple entrys response to the DB,even we could not able to send one record.the structure has been made based on the multiple entrys, pls let me know.

  • MessageExpiredException error in JDBC - RFC scenario using BPM.

<b>Scenario:</b> JDBC( Asynch)- RFC( Synch)- JDBC (Asyc)
We are using XI to read oracle table records to insert the records in R/3 and after the insert in R/3 we return a sap code to update in oracle db.
When we try to process 10 or less rows from db, the process is successfully running, but when we try processing more records we are getting the following error. We tried increase the timeout setting in RFC adapter as per the SAP note and forum.
    <u>Detailed error: </u>
    <b>com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.MessageExpiredException: Message 443jdjsd-e432-2ec8-e100-000046eb2e5f(INBOUND) expired.</b>
If I use correlation in asynchronous RFC instead of synchronous RFC, will this solve the problem or is there any better solution for this ?
Any useful steps to change the synchronous RFC to asynchronous RFC in BPM would be great.
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi,
<i>1. Any suggestions to meet this requirement in XI ?</i>
    >>>One option is using ABAP Proxy . Instead of calling Sync. RFC, call synchronous Proxy. So your client proxy, should receive all 200-300 rows at a time, and inside the proxy, and call the RFC. Once all the reocrds are processed, send the response back to BPM
    You can try out this.
I think, probably you may require to do looping for each Row.i.e For each row the call the RFC.. As of now try to go with Proxy.
Also try to findout, why the RFC is taking that much of time.. So check for the provision of  tuning in the RFC side..
    Hope this helps,
