JDBC-RFC Query Error

Hi friends,
I have 2 tables at sender JDBC side . one is header table and second one is Line items.
Now i have to pass to RFC in such a way that onley once header and respective line items to the RFC.
rite now i am using this Query in JDBC sender side
select * from table_Header,table_Line_Item where flag = '1' and counter1 = counter2;
where counter1 and counter2 represents the header and line items correspondence.
now i need to change in query or in mapping or in integration any condition....
please help me its urgent

Inorder to select records from 2 table prefer Storedprocedure
Just Specify an SQL EXECUTE statement to execute a stored procedure, which contains exactly one SELECT statement.
This will have to be done for your SELECT statement in JDBC adapter. ALso, make the UPDATE as either TEST, if you dont want any updations or give an UPDATE statement for the UPDATE query.
Set the polling interval of your JDBC adapter to 1 hour and it will work like u want.

am doing jdbc to rfc scenario
tested rfc at target R/3 and its working fine,but records were not being updated in jdbc-rfc scenario.
i can see the audit log as success but no record is inserted at the target system
think problem is at FM.

MDX Query consumption in NW Gateway model - RFC Connectivity error

Hi Gurus,
As per the blog( http://scn.sap.com/community/netweaver-gateway/blog/2012/12/08/transform-sap-bw-queries-into-odata-service-generation-and-activation ) I have created odata model in SEGW transaction. I am getting Rfc connection error -( 'SQL error 10760 when accessing tab) as described in the screenshot while generating runtime objects. Please help me.

RFC lookup error when table in change mode

Hi,
I´m using an RFC lookup from XI to translate external to internal partner nr. Input to the FM in R/3 is the external partner nr och the FM should return the internal partner nr to XI. The problem is that when a user edits the table that my FM reads from a get an error.
- Isn´t it possible to read a r/3 table while it is in change mode? Is my only way around this to create a z version of this table?

Use JDBC to query data for JSP Report

Hi all,
I met a trouble when use JDBC to query data,
it can show data in report builder, but get error when call from url for exxample: http://localhost:8889/reports/TestJDBCReport.jsp
found error message:

As a general rule, it's a good idea to separate the
presentation (JSP and HTML) from the business rules
(database access). I know you didn't do that on the
AS/400, you had display files and business logic in
the same program (at least, we certainly do in ours),
but it's a good policy to follow in the web world.
That means, don't put your database access code in
the JSP. Other than that, it depends on the data.
If you have simple data (e.g. customer's name and
d address) then a Java bean would suffice. If you
have complex data (e.g. customer's payment history)

RFC communication error

hi guys,
our company has SAP servers in location A which often communicates with servers in location B. recently we moved both DEV and PRD servers to location C from A. the servers from B and C communicates via a VPN link.sequel to this movement we changed the IP configuration of all the systems. presently users in location B can access the PRD server in C but are not able to access the DEV server.
the following error messages appears:

error:could not access file as supposed

while on DEV

User access problem :-
You located at location B are not able to access server DEV which is located C
Pls take help from your system administrator for doing below task if you are not aware about output
From location B try to telnet server DEV on port 32<NN> or 36<NN> ( <NN> is your instance no of DEV )
for e.g
from command prompt run the following command
telnet < dev server ip > 32<NN>
check the ouput
How to check the ouput
1 after giving the above command, if you get blank screen it mean ports are open
2 after giving the above command, if you get ouput on screen like " conneting to server < dev server ip > it mean ports are not open
If the ports are not open then inform you network team that port mention aboev should be open for users.
once the ports get open check above step again , if you get the blank screen , then you wil be able to login to SAP
Server to Server Access problem :-
From server DEV to PRD and vice versa check whether you can share the drives .
if yous system team that yor PRD system should be able to to access the share folder sapmnt of server DEV ( SAPDEV )
As well as check server to server port 33<NN> is open or not

RFC channel error

Hi Experts,
First time, transport objects form DEV to QTY server in SAP PI 7.31 dual stack.
My scenario is RFC to JDBC. Activation is done, but when try to test RFC destination from ECC qty (which freshly created in ECC QTY) getting some error in sender channel.

Two check if the program is registered go to SMGW.
Go to --> Logged on clients. Here must appear your PROG_ID
If not, check authorizations to register external programs (RECINFO and SECINFO)

we are sending multiple entrys response to the DB,even we could not able to send one record.the structure has been made based on the multiple entrys, pls let me know.

Jdbc theme query problems

I'm integrating Oracle Maps (10) in BISE, I've used Navtweq maps with my spatial data and I've created some maps, themes etc.
Now I'm trying to create some more complex JDBC themes.
Everything works fine if I use simple query, but I'm not able to create a theme whit more complex queries
for example I have 3 tables
m_admin_area2 (with geometric infos)

Hi Rambarki,
I think the error is because your database table is expecting some kind of input and the input you are passing has some error in it.Just cross check the table using DESCRIBE <tablename> with the data you are trying to enter.
It would be helpful, if you could give us your destination Data Type ( along with the content you are trying to indert )and your table structure.

RFC DeliveryException: error

Hi,
I am working on DB2(Asyn)-SAP(Sync)-DB2(Asyc) using BPM. I do understand based on the SAP notes 730870 that the either the XML-RPC format or the parameters to the funcation module might be incorrect.
In my message mapping from JDBC to RFC under the message tab of the mapping screen I have 1 for JDBC occurances and 0..unbounded for the RFC as I will be selecting multiple rows from db. Currently in the MI mapping I have source and target as 1 occurances each, when I change the occurances in the target side to "0...unbounded" I do not see the response when I read the interfaces.
In this case do I need to change any thing in my BPM and is this causing this error ?
Bye the way my BPM is : Receive- Synch Send - Send.
Error from SXMB_MONI:

When I changed the occurances to 1 and 1:1 mapping and tested MM using the payload from MONI, I am not getting any output at all.
Test result says cannot produce the target element(first element).
My source structure based on the db is
SOURCE_DT
<Rows> --- 1..unbounded.
<field1>
</Row>
When I tried the rows of multi-occurance with 1:N mapping and I had the RFC execution error, but mapping was working.

Hi:
I´m working with system driver at de JDBC connection in VA. When a record is inserted/updated this error is display:
NWMss SQLServer JDBC Driver Syntax error at token 0, line 0 offset 0
The record is inserted/updated but when the operation ends the exception is throw.
I Google the error but I didn´t find how to solve it.
Any idea?

I think that you may be trying to construct an SQL query using some logic. Is that right?
I hav encountered this problem when trying these types of code - If possible please debug the code and see if there is any particular case in which the SQL string in which the command is saved becomes null.
When it is null or blank - the SQL Driver will throw such an error.
Also, if you can elaborate more on the problem - I can give you some more help.

mostly your gateway servicve is not working check smgw tcode on that instance
you can do this goto sm59->select the instace execute tcode smgw
easy way is restart the instance
